I've never found a musical theater dance class so I planned to take the Tuesday one with Alyssa if I recall her name correctly. We did a song from Princess and the Frog. I have a newfound inspiration I didn't even know it was a thing until Orlando's very own musical theater dance classes! It was awesome. Packed class. Front desk had good customer service. They even record and upload their dances to their yt channel, something I do for my own yt channel for dance covers I do. Keep up the great work!!

They have every single art class (just a few to name are ballet, acro, vocal, acting, music lessons and private tutoring as well) and even their own recording studio. This is just amazing! The place looks fabulous, the lobby area is very fancy so much so you will start posing and taking pictures. The classrooms are big enough and functional. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Malik and Christina are super stars and will go above and beyond to accommodate your child's needs. We are very excited to become a part of such incredible team and highly recommend it to everyone!

Central Florida Irish Dance is an excellent choice for dancers of any age looking for a fun new…read morehobby, competitive sport and a multicultural experience. Our daughters (11 and 7) dance weekly with CFID and love showing off all they learn and working hard for the next competition. They have learned discipline, good sportsmanship and the art of Irish dance. Beyond the classroom instruction and competitions, our family enjoys the performance opportunities throughout the community. From sharing Irish dance with a retirement community to taking the stage in Winter Park, it is great fun to celebrate with Central Florida. CFID has been tremendous in navigating through the impact of the pandemic. Students transitioned to virtual classes almost immediately - complete with a recital! Virtual competitions were encouraged and the school truly did not miss a beat! Now that in-person classes are resuming, COVID-19 safety guidelines have been clearly communicated and enforced. CFID and the Irish dance community is setting a great example for other businesses and educational institutions on how to successfully return to face-to-face during this unprecedented time. I highly recommend CFID to families in Central Florida. It has been a special experience for our girls and we look forward to more years to come!

The sound track to the, almost, 2 hour show was heavy on Dubstep and some of the artists represented are Bassnectar, Magnetic Man, Taio Cruz and Skrillex. Now for the not so positive... The AntiGravity Orlando is being housed in the old Movie Rider building off of 1-92. The facade of the building is dark and when we walked up, we weren't even sure they were actually open. There was no clear box office or person manning the booth and although we were welcomed by a gentleman, I wasn't sure if he were associated with the theatre or just an inebriated patron. There is a cash bar area over to the left of the theatre serving beer, wine and a few cocktails. Also available are 4 types of hot hors d'oeuvres for around the $4. mark each. I found out that the bar and food is catered by Houlihan's. The smell of the hors d'oeuvres was really cloying as the evening progressed and by mid show I was wishing for the smell to disappear. The show's acts of "anti-gravity" are woven together with a schmaltzy story and narrator. I do not blame the actor, but the script itself made the boyfriend and I roll our eyes and wish for the mic system to fail. It was a "clean" show, however several comments were made to audience members that were out of line. The theatre itself is too small to house the performers and to really see what they were doing I had to crane my neck. There is really no good seat in the house. The surroundings feel grimy, mirrors are cracked and low lighting just adds to the derelict feel. Although I can tell what the designer was aiming for, it just feels poorly executed. Full priced tickets are right at the $40 dollar mark for adults and $25 for children. Thankfully, we were invited to see the show free of charge, as to have been out of pocket for $80 bucks would have been upsetting. If you've never seen aerial acrobatics anywhere else, and you will never be able to see one of the other large and well known troupes, then by all means see this show. Just be prepared for a slightly grungier experience than you were expecting, and I wouldn't buy tickets for too far in the future.

This is our third studio we have been at since my daughter started dancing ten years ago, and it is one that we truly feel welcome and blessed to be a part of. All of the families that attend this studio are very nice and welcoming. And there is no crazy drama like former places we've been. I cannot recommend this dance studio enough as the main instructor is phenomenal and has some of the best choreography and standards that we have ever had with a dance studio. This studio is professionally, run and is held by high standards that they are accredited under. If you're looking for a studio, where your child will be dancing to age appropriate music and wearing appropriate costumes this is your place. If you have a son that loves to dance they would really love attending here as my son is part of a great group of boys his age that all share the same love of dance and have become great friends. I can't praise this studio enough and im beyond grateful to be a part of this dance family.

The short: I did leave not 1000% sure of what the show was about, but it was enjoyable.

Deducting 2 stars because customer service was not great neither via phone nor the phone booth…read more I purchased tickets online $246 and didn't see there was a Florida resident offer until AFTER, wish they made this more clearer on their website. I attempted to contact their customer service via phone because I finally found the Florida resident offer on the site and it was down to $165 which is a chunk of savings. Wellll they never answered waited 20mins on the phone never answered and I attempted to email them, never got a reply, The $165 tickets ended up selling so I missed that window. When I got to the park and spoke to an agent at the booth wasn't really helpful. She stated the tickets were now $175 each so technically I already got my discount because my tickets were cheaper... which really, no I didn't had someone answered the phone... anyways whatever the money was spent already. We head upstairs, I purchased a Mickey pretzel and a lemonade. It was decent. Once you get inside everyone is getting to their seat, there wasn't that many people on staff to help you to your seat so everyone is kind of running around like a chicken with no head. what I didn't like about this event is that even after the show started I'm talking 45-50 mins into the show people are still arriving trying to sit down.. it was distracting.. Don't be fooled by the seats btw and thinking sitting at the front is the best view, the auditorium is small enough that all the seats have a great view. So honestly whatever tickets you buy they are just as great as the front front seats. The show itself was great, lots of action and talented cast members, the story was also heartwarming and interesting. It did drag a little I will say. They showed a lot of Disney characters overall so nice to see old characters like Bambi . It also had some funny moments. The cast members can tell when people were falling asleep or losing interest lol I would say for a kid this could get boring... until the acts start doing flips and tricks again.. Oh yeah, the seats were low key HARD and uncomfortable lol! 90mins no intermission was a little rough. Overall cute and good for a date night or with the family in town. I wouldn't go again though.
