Well, my wife the event planner asked me what I wanted for my Birthday and I told her I wanted to go to the Blue Man Group, so that's just what we did. We went with a group of 20 people, some of who were also celebrating birthdays, which made the whole thing that much more fun. Tickets were $70 a pop, so it's on the pricy side. Drinks and snacks are also pricy. We purchase two Coke Zero's and it came to $14, Yay! It's super hot in FL now so be prepared to sweat a bit while waiting to get through security and standing-by inside lobby, it's a bit of a tight squeeze and can be uncomfortable when it's a mad rush to hurry-up-and-wait. You have assigned seats, and staff do a great job helping everyone find their seat. guests have a decent view of everything going on from anywhere in the audience, so not a big deal if you're not right up front. You might not want to be up front anyways especially since there is some liquids and other debris flying around during the show. I enjoyed the show, it had everything that make a show great - action, comedy, audience interaction and involvement, excellent live music, and a unique story. The show could have been better. Like my wife mentioned in her review there were times where they could have incorporated more drumming scenarios, music, or even a magic show. One of my favorite highlights from the show was the one Blue Man catching all those marshmallows in his mouth and making an art piece out of it; it was hilarious. I also got a great chuckle when they were eating the Capital Crunch cereal and making a huge mess; very memorable. If they change the show up periodically with different scenarios and skits I would come again; however, if it's the same show back-to-back, Year-over-year, I don't think I would pay the $70 to come back again. If we were to revisit, I would be on the lookout for deals or Groupon's just because It's pricey for what it is. Regardless, if you're looking for something fun to do while in Orlando, I would recommend checking them out just see if you can get a package deal with Icon Park or another discount provider.

The show was scheduled for 1:00 but actually went on at 1:15 and went to 2:30. Parts of the show were good with a bit of a wow factor. The guy eating 20 marshmallows and turning it into a sculpture was excellent. However.. Some of it was just not good. There was one skit where they pulled two people on stage and had some telephones and a few props it wasted 10 minutes of the show and was pretty boring. You would think with it being Icon Park and Blue Man having their own building that they would have a pretty spectacular show. Maybe even some magic Or some weird little dude riding around on a scooter through the crowd. I left there thinking of all the things I could make that show better. They did pull one of our friends up on stage and painted him. They did acknowledge my girlfriend's birthday We call her Little Debbie. We all dressed up as Little Debbie characters and pies. They put her name on the big screen and we all wished her happy birthday that was nice. So there was some good and some bad to this show. It's pretty much a one and done. Not something that you would pay to come back and see again. I see now they have buy one get one free tickets. This would be the time to go to see them!! The building that they built is not real big so every seat in the house is pretty good. It's not real loud in there which is nice, the music is great and they do have a keyboard player drummer and guitar player up at the top dressed in neon. Parking is free in the garage on levels 4 through 7. Drinks A regular size coke with a lid was $6 and some change. I think the beers were $14. They do check your purse when you come in and they didn't let us bring any snacks in. There is two bars in a concession stand right when you walk in. Our server was so nice and attentive to our needs. We chose not to upgrade our meals (it was like $20/extra per person if we wanted steak instead of chicken), but we were impressed with the 3 course meal! It started with a Caesar salad, followed with chicken accompanied by veg and mashed potatoes, and finishing with a brownie. The chicken straight up fell off of the bone. I was also served like half of a whole chicken (I had to take some home because I was so full). It was cooked way better than I thought it would be. You can purchase appetizers after you get you salad for an extra cost. The drinks are good but can be expensive. If you're looking for a less expensive alcohol option, definitely ask about using their house liquor. I had to ask them 3 times for them to actually tell me it was like a $9 difference between getting it with their house vs premium liquor. I will say that anything you get from the bar or as an appetizer that cost extra already includes 15% gratuity. Nobody will tell you it does, but it will be written on the appetizer menu in a very light colored font. What I think is a little BS is that although gratuity is included for those, it isn't included for the server who is serving you the whole night. But none of this negatively affected my experience, I just want to make you all aware of this! I would come back for sure with some family who hasn't seen the show.

The show itself was very entertaining, and the set design was absolutely amazing. The entire atmosphere really makes you feel like you've stepped into a pirate world. The lobby area, designed like a pirate marketplace, was especially cool. There's plenty of pirate-themed merchandise to check out, and you can grab a nice drink from the bar before the show. The food was also surprisingly good and definitely added to the overall experience. Service was good for the most part, although there were a few moments when it was difficult to get our server's attention. We went on a Saturday and were actually surprised that the place wasn't fuller, but that made for a more relaxed experience. Overall, this was a fun family night out, and both of my sons really enjoyed it. Definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something different and entertaining to do in Orlando! ‍

The reserved seating access is for the first two rows. I think it would be harder to see everything further back. I was row two and it was hard because everyone in the first row was super tall that night. And 2. A drink from the hotel lobby bar is included and they had some good stuff....including the blueberry sage mocktail I got! The wife of the magician is a lovely hostess getting everyone checked in and seated before doing her magician assistant duties during the show. The magic was well performed and had some illusions that really had jaws dropping! The grounds are well kept and just like Disney style you'll find Palm trees and iconic ESPN Globe at the entrance for a great photo. Once inside it feels so competitive yet fun and friendly. Enjoy all the sports and all the Disney guest services and ammenities. Concession stands where you can purchase your favorite drinks, pretzels and pizza cones. One thing I wanted to point out is how many parents leave trash behind once each game is over. Very inconsiderate as there are trash cans near the bleechers and along the fields. This is a world class stage please keep it clean. Here families can enjoy a sports tournament and later enjoy a Disney vacation at Disney parks.

Legal action is being considered against PEDC regarding the withholding of competition…read morescholarships, as well as a request for transparency into the required use of a group booking code tied to a mandatory cruise. The cruise price using the required group code was at or above the rates available to the public. This type of booking can result in "tour conductor credits." What were these credits used for? We and other parents would certainly like to know. When questioning PEDC we received no response. We did not see the studio owners much during the cruise and only saw them out of their cabin suite or at a private beach villa. We felt there was toxic ownership and strongly recommend Ace Dance Project for a healthier environment for your dancer to learn and flourish. Google "red flags for dance studios" -- in our opinion, PEDC checks nearly every box. The teachers mean well, but we found ownership to be extremely difficult to work with. Scholarships earned through entries paid for by dancers were withheld. In the words of Jim Hollborn, they had to "stop the bleeding." Even that was not enough, and a significant portion of their competitive team left to find studios who appreciate and respect them.

My husband works at home, at the time I didn't. I would leave the house at 6 am and get home around 7 pm. My husband gets the kids up and ready for school, takes them to school and picks them up from school. He would also take each of the two kids back and forth to different events and practice sessions they have, often on the same night. On off days, I car pool as well. It's how our family functions, my husband does more than most people in general! Neither of us ever sit in the waiting room watching the 1980's quality TV with screens so small you can't tell which child is your own while other kids run amuck. I received a text that the cheer class didn't have class the Thursday prior to recital. I called PEDC to see if our daughters other class was cancelled as well. The person answering the phone said it's on the schedule, it should be going. I think I'm talking to the front desk. I ask her to check, at the time I'd started a new job and couldn't just leave to take my daughter if there was no class. She said she'd check. Came back, she didn't know. I called back later, thinking the front person should have a break in between classes and should have been able to find out. She still didn't know. My husband then calls. We keep getting the run around, we don't understand how the front desk has no idea. She keeps saying it's on the schedule, class is on. Finally, the owners husband returns my husbands message. He ask the question for clarification. This "person" was such a major jerk. Said he was far to busy to be answering out questions and "Maybe you should be a more involved father" and you would have known the answer. We find out at this point the person answering the phone was an answering service. Had she identified herself as such, the conversation would have been much different, not to mention a big clue, that yes, both classes were not happening since no one was at the school. The husband proceeded to barat my husband further and ended up telling him to not come to the recital. Other issues with the school. The one and only time we ever had one of the instructors talk to either of us, as we would go in to pick her up and wait the last few minutes of the class, was when Sarah came out and basically yelled at my husband that my daughter needed to be in a different outfit. No, hello are you X dad, I'm Sarah her instructor... Just full on nasty "She needs to be wearing a leotard". Our daughter was a student for over a year. We did multiple camps the first year and had her signed up for three camps just after the recital. All of which we immediately cancelled and they were refunded. The environment was unfriendly. We are not "dance mom's" nor do we want to be and unless you are and want to full on go all out to do the dance company, you are a no body and they treat you that way! The funny thing is, watching the progress of my daughter, the things that she improved upon and she improved on them by leaps and bounds where the things she was learning from YouTube that they weren't even teaching in her class. What a waste of money that place turned out to be. So if you want to spend a ton of money and be treated like crap and then told to be a more involved parent... I'd recommend this crap show of a school. If you want to be treated like the good human you are, run away! I'd give negative stars if I could. Also, I had many people, after posting my story, reach out to me and tell me they had similar experiences here. So, it wasn't just our "uninvolved" selves! Thanks for making my husband and myself so upset that he absolutely refused to go to the recital because he didn't want to see "the husband" (because I'm not calling him here what we really call him). The guy that goes all out for his kids didn't get to see his daughter perform because of some power hungry jerk that couldn't answer a question.

My husband is the car buff in our family. When we were visiting Orlando, we were looking for…read moresomething to do in the daytime while waiting for our grandchildren to finish summer camp for the day. Dezerland kept us busy for a few hours and inside during a very hot day. Besides the Auto Museum, Dezerland also features an arcade, escape room, bowling alley, bumper cars, lazer tag maze, ax throwing, and pool tables. Being of a certain age, we chose to visit just the Auto Museum. There are a variety of attraction packages available if you want to use one or several of the attractions. Everyone entering must fill out a waiver, even if you're visiting just the Auto Museum. The waivers are available online as well as advance ticket purchases. There is also a food court and several shops within the Dezerland complex. I'm not into cars myself but the Auto Museum was impressive. My husband especially loved seeing the vintage cars from the 1940s through the 1970s, although some of the cars shown preceded the 1940s. The displays include vehicles used in movies and popular culture. My favorites were the Mystery Machine and Herbie the Love Bug as I saw the movie Love Bug as a child. Besides cars, the museum also features vintage motorcycles, scooters, bicycles, fire trucks, police vehicles, post office delivery vehicles, subway cars, and buses. The backdrops, movies posters, pictures, and cardboard cut outs of the movie 'stars' and historical figures greatly enhance the experience. I can't imagine the time and energy it must have taken to amass this collection of vintage vehicles. We spent about two hours browsing the huge collection of cars but easily could have spent another hour or two here admiring the old time motor vehicles.

Dessert was spectacular. Check out the pictures I took. DRINKS: All you can drink (within reason because I'm sure Disney won't mind cutting you off) - and you can definitely get your money's worth. There's four signature drinks, as well as beer and wine. If you aren't into alcoholic beverages, there's canned Coca Cola products, hot teas, and bottled waters. ENTERTAINMENT: Great show. It was so popular, they extended it from the original show dates. The show starts around the time you get in. There's various breaks where you can go visit the evil characters (or their sets) and take pictures. They divide the venue up and have set times for you to meet the characters, which makes for a more organized event. OVERALL: This is a definite must do at Disney. The cost may be a lot up front, but you definitely get your money's worth.
