Snacks available like popcorn, chocolate, pretzels and drinks like soda, beers and wines. Environment A very very very small place! There are a very limited about of space inside! Very old but cute location. I don't think there is a box office. Both times I went I reserved my tickets online. Niceness of the staff Staff was really really nice! The venue took appropriate covid precautions, requiring masks, limiting capacity, and spacing out the audience. Honestly I had low expectations considering its status as a community theater in a somewhat small town. But I'm pleased to report that it very much exceeded them. Everything about the show, from the set and costumes to the actors and their performances was very well done! Which is even more impressive considering everyone involved are volunteers! It's clear they cast some dedicated and talented people. I definitely look forward to attending more shows here in the future! If you're planning a visit here, make sure to buy tickets with ample time. It's a small venue, made even smaller due to covid capacity limits. There's lots of parking right in front. If you get there early they have some wonderful art from the community displayed in the lobby. Support the arts and support community theater!

My husband and I stumbled across this venue by chance and the same day stopped in to see a show. We saw a Saturday afternoon show of The Pirates of Penzance. It started at 4pm and although we arrived at 4:05pm there was no problem getting tickets and quickly seated. The show cost only $30.00 per person and after seeing the performance I belIeve that it was way under valued. The performers were amazing and their costumes were beautiful. There was a seventeen piece orchestra playing along with a cast of twenty three. Now that I know that it is here I will be visiting the Clermont Performing Arts Center often. They have several exciting shows coming up.

At no cost, I was surprised by their quality! Quite possibly one of the best student plays I've had the pleasure of seeing. But this review isn't about the play.. it really is about the theatre, isn't it? Well, it's in an old lecture hall, so the seats are large, the rows are comfortable with plenty of leg room. The stage is wide and the lighting, while at times, oddly places, is both sufficient and efficient. The sound quality (acoustics) was quite pleasant as was the atmosphere of the lobby and box office area. The bathrooms, while dated, offered something you don't see in most bathrooms. Ledges on which to place your purse and a hook. No need to place your purse on the nasty floor! Kudos! I was quite pleased with my experience here.

At $20 a person for non-students, it is a good value. The performers are student actors with an occasional professional actor. We saw Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Dangerous Liasons). There is plenty of space between rows so no one has to squeeze by. No food or drink is allowed in the theater. The quality of the acting was very good. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to Bob Carr, you might be pleased.

The sound track to the, almost, 2 hour show was heavy on Dubstep and some of the artists represented are Bassnectar, Magnetic Man, Taio Cruz and Skrillex. Now for the not so positive... The AntiGravity Orlando is being housed in the old Movie Rider building off of 1-92. The facade of the building is dark and when we walked up, we weren't even sure they were actually open. There was no clear box office or person manning the booth and although we were welcomed by a gentleman, I wasn't sure if he were associated with the theatre or just an inebriated patron. There is a cash bar area over to the left of the theatre serving beer, wine and a few cocktails. Also available are 4 types of hot hors d'oeuvres for around the $4. mark each. I found out that the bar and food is catered by Houlihan's. The smell of the hors d'oeuvres was really cloying as the evening progressed and by mid show I was wishing for the smell to disappear. The show's acts of "anti-gravity" are woven together with a schmaltzy story and narrator. I do not blame the actor, but the script itself made the boyfriend and I roll our eyes and wish for the mic system to fail. It was a "clean" show, however several comments were made to audience members that were out of line. The theatre itself is too small to house the performers and to really see what they were doing I had to crane my neck. There is really no good seat in the house. The surroundings feel grimy, mirrors are cracked and low lighting just adds to the derelict feel. Although I can tell what the designer was aiming for, it just feels poorly executed. Full priced tickets are right at the $40 dollar mark for adults and $25 for children. Thankfully, we were invited to see the show free of charge, as to have been out of pocket for $80 bucks would have been upsetting. If you've never seen aerial acrobatics anywhere else, and you will never be able to see one of the other large and well known troupes, then by all means see this show. Just be prepared for a slightly grungier experience than you were expecting, and I wouldn't buy tickets for too far in the future.

The venue is intimate (only 30 seats) so get your tickets now! The characters are entertaining and familiar - although it is set in the mid 70's, they embody all of us, our insecurities, shortcomings and dreams. We saw "Talk Radio" this past Saturday, and I honestly was not expecting much from this tiny, strip…read moremall theater. The moment I walked into the place, I was instantly impressed. The detail of the set was just remarkable, I was transported back to 1987, and was sitting almost inside a 1980's radio station! The acting was first-rate and I was totally immersed in the performance. I highly recommend the venue and they are extending "Talk Radio" in January, so make plans to see it, you will not be sorry! Oh, and the ticket was only $22!! What a bargain for live theater.
