Really funny comedy show! Will keep you laughing and smiling. They have two shows, 6pm and 8pm. Come half an hour early for dinner. So if you purchased the 6pm show, show up 5:30pm. If you purchased the 8pm show, show up 7:30pm. Seating is first come first serve. Dinner is salad/pizza and soda/beer/wine. They have other food options, such as chicken wings. Don't expect good food. The comedy Magic show starts at 6pm/8pm and end at 7pm/9pm. The show is very interactive. The magician grabs people in the front to participate. His acts are hilarious. The show took place in Wonderworks, which is a building designed to look upside down. It definitely attracts people's attention. The interior was dark. The theater the show took place in is designed for a small audience and the stage is also pretty small. Magician was very interactive with the audience. The magic wasn't out of this world but it was still interesting. It was very family friendly and entertaining, but the magic isn't captivating enough to catch much younger audience's (toddlers/babies) attention. We got unlimited pizza, salad, and drinks, and they even come with dessert. Food was all tasty-- nothing special but still satisfying. Pizza came warm and fresh in thin and large slices and was a bit chewy. The salad had the basic combo of croutons, tomatoes, red onions, and lettuce. It paired well with the dressings (2 were provided). Dessert was a chocolate cake that was light and not too sweet. Servers were all super sweet, helpful, and worked fast so we could enjoy the show without missing too much. I also liked how magician recognized them and expressed his appreciation to them at the end of the show. It was one of the servers' birthdays and he shared that with the audience. This show is located inside of WonderWorks Orlando and you can purchase a combo ticket to see the museum if you want. We just purchased the show ticket. The show is located on international Drive, where there are a ton of other non-mouse, Orlando Attraction, such as iFly, the Main Event, movies, and some nice restaurants. Parking is pretty simple. We just park in the nearby paid garage and walked to the show from there. It was not a far walk at all. Just outside the front of the garage and to the right. I paid about $7 for parking. They open the doors around 30 minutes before the show, but they opened it a little early when we were there. The doors may open up 30 minutes early, but the line to get in starts before that. The dinner here is pretty basic, nothing to write home about. They serve a salad with ranch dressing and gas station style pizza. There was an ok brownie for dessert. You have you choice of Pepsi, fruit punch, Sierra Mist, water, beer and wine. They also have some signature frozen drinks that you can purchase like a margarita, and pina colada that come in a blinky souvenir cup. The staff there is very friendly. The hall is very small. I would say about 75 person capacity tops. Before the show they are playing some old footage magicians doing tricks on televisions throughout the hall. The show itself was entertaining. The jokes were funny and there was a few crowd participation moments, most of which where picked from the front seats. This is really a family show. My kids liked the show more than I did. At moments it was cheesy, but there were good basic tricks. The show only lasted about 45 minutes. It was in and out. This is a nice family outing and is reasonably priced. It is not very long so you may want to plan on doing some other activities like the WonderWorks, and the Main Event. read more

Sometimes, as adults, all we want to do is realize our childhood dreams. When I was little, I was always fascinated with the upside-down WonderWorks building, but never had the opportunity to go inside. My mom used to tell me that a hurricane flipped it upside down -- don't @ me, but I believed her for a shamefully long time. Hey, some kids have Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, I had the WonderWorks building. LOL. We decided to check out the 'The Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show' since I figured that I was older than the target demographic for the other activities and exhibits. The show advertises itself as Orlando's best dinner show; while I wouldn't necessarily agree, I thought it was ok. The magic is fine; don't go expecting Shin Lim or David Copperfield, but most of the kids in the audience seemed to like it. I remember being impressed by similar tricks at that age. They have an above-stage camera set-up that's meant to display close-ups of the tabletop magic, but because not all the tricks were those types of tricks, the cameras were mostly showing live video of people's heads. I appreciated Tony Brent's humor; he does a great job at engaging the kids who come up on the stage and the ones in the audience. My only real tiff about the performance is that right when the show is done, the music is blasted at an uncomfortably loud volume to make people leave. Maybe Brent could've stayed on-stage and indicated that the show was over by waving good-bye to people. The lights turning on and waiters opening the doors were also enough of an indication that we should leave, no need for the psychological warfare. It was a jarring ending to an otherwise ok evening. Food was fine. It's pizza you'd find at children's amusement space. The first pizza they serve is half cheese, half pepperoni. If you know your group prefers one over the other, I recommend asking the waiters for your desired pizza beforehand. They make it fresh if you ask for only one topping and the fresh pizzas are much more tasty. It takes about 15 minutes for a fresh pizza to be made. The salad is a basic iceberg salad with cherry tomatoes. It's only served with ranch dressing. For drinks, they serve Pepsi products, Bud Light, Amberbock, Chadonnay, Moscato, and some red wines (didn't pay attention to the red wine options, tbh). Pours are very generous -- one regular glass is equivalent to a single pour in a traditional wine glass. Is it the finest quality? No, but you can't complain as it's all-you-can-drink for the hour-long show! Service was also pretty good. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. We never ran out of food or drink (probably an unexpected perk of sitting near the back instead of near the stage). Overall, it was an ok experience, but I probably won't come again. I'm super happy that I was able to help my inner child realize one of her dreams though -- so I guess that's truly priceless. COVID Tip: Little to no social distancing. We had a table to ourselves by chance, but other tables were pretty packed. We came on a Sunday, so the room itself was not completely booked up. Employees wore masks. read more

We arrived 15 mins before the start of the show. There were already a lot of people seated and eating. Our table had a big bowl of salad for us, no drinks. We waited over 15 mins and had to find a server if we needed to serve ourselves for drinks. It felt like our family was being ignored seeing others getting tended to. They give a NY style pizza half cheese/half pepperoni. There is also an option to buy additional food and alcoholic beverages. Even though the website states unlimited pizza, dessert, salad, and drinks, we only got one pizza for our family of 5. We saw others getting more pizzas and had to track down the server to get us another pizza (they're about 8 slices). We never got the pizza since they were already serving dessert (chocolate cake slice), however they did give us a pizza to go on the way out. The show was ok. There were a couple of oohs and aahs on the card tricks. The show was one hour long. The food quality wasn't that great but didn't expect much from this type of venue. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with the service and the cost spent. Our kids didn't seem to enjoy the show and had a hard time seeing the stage. This was so much fun! Even my hard to please 11-yr old son loved it. We loved the fact that it was Halloween themed and Jack was hilarious and kept our attention with his amazing tricks. Both my son and husband were called onto stage to assist with tricks. Very memorable! The food on the other hand, is honestly not very memorable. Don't go in expecting Michelin-starred dining and you will not be disappointed. You get very basic pizza and salad with ranch dressing. It wasn't terrible. The show is back on weekends as of March 2021. They have changed the layout so you have your own table. The tables are a decent distance apart. You get all the pizza you can eat and it's pretty good. The pizzas are all half pepperoni half cheese. I was at the 8 pm show and you should arrive 30 minutes early to get in line to be seated. Don't wait too long as the tables go on a first come first served basis. A nice touch is that they have a camera and TVs to zoom in on the card trucks so you can see all the action. The magic was great and a broad variety with cards, rings, ropes, balls etc. I have seen many magic shows and this is a good one. As a bonus you get all the beer and wine you want as well. I feel almost bad writing this, because the performer seemed to be a nice genuine person, but the show was not entertaining. He did the same "rope" trick at least 10 times. Instead of having something funny to say a lot of times he would just scream for effect. That got a laugh the first 3 or 4 times, but after that no one seemed to be focused on him anymore. We have been to this show a few times and every time we book it we make sure Tony Brent is the one performing. We love his sense of humor and the random gags he does through the show. The magic does as well is very impressive and we are still trying to figure out a couple of the acts. With the show, you get unlimited soda, wine, or beer. You also get unlimited salad and pizza. There is where the lacking 5th star goes. While the pizza is pretty good when it is served hot and fresh, it is paper-thin. I don't remember it being this thin in the past. Again, it has a nice flavor but there needs to be a little more substance to the dough. For desert, you get a little piece of chocolate cake. This little cake actually tasted pretty good. Our group had consisted of 4 people. 2 of us were repeat customers while our 2 friends had never seen the show before. They loved Tony and the show and mentioned the same thing about the pizza. Since this is located in Wonderworks there are a couple of different ticket options. We purchased just the comedy show tickets which are $31.99 + tax for adults. There is a VIP package that includes admission to Wonderworks, laser tag and much more. I believe the VIP ticket is $59.99 + tax for adults. Hilarious show with really good magic - how does he do it? Unlimited pizza, salad & drinks were good, too! Tony Brent is a great magician and super-funny. He's spontaneous and has a great sense of humor. We were laughing pretty much from the very first minute on. Tony works well with the audience members, calling some of them to the stage (nothing scary or too embarrassing) to assist with some of the tricks. The magic was amazing: very impressive tricks that we could not figure out how he did them. The pizza and salad were very good. It won't be the best pizza you've ever had, but it was fine and we enjoyed it. They bring out pizza pies that are half cheese - half pepperoni. We asked for all cheese and they brought one out soon after. There are salad dressings on the table, as well as salt, pepper, garlic salt and red pepper flakes. The service is very good. Our server was Brittany and she was very attentive & friendly. Please remember to tip the servers! Before the show, they snap a photo of your party. You can purchase the framed photo later for $10. Our party was 4 adults (including two under 22) and a special needs teen. We adults thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the show. The show was a little loud for her (whenever they played the music) but she had headphones on, so she was able to tolerate it. Just a heads up for anyone with a family member with sensory issues - it can be loud. I believe the cost of this show/dinner is about $30. However, we used the Go City Explorer Pass, which brought the tickets down to about $20 each. There are coupons in many tourist books. Our resort had a couple of coupons in its welcome booklet. The show is held in the Wonder Works museum. There is a huge parking lot right next to it. The pizza was mediocre at best. Salad was okay, as long as you like ranch dressing. The magic show, we saw TC Tahoe, who was funny and good with the slight of hand type tricks. This dinner show is part of WonderWorks on I-Drive. My wife and I went there last night, and we had a blast! For about $25 per adult you basically get unlimited popcorn, salad, pizza, beer, and wine along with the show itself. The food and overall presentation is very simple -- this is by no means an upscale experience. Nevertheless, it made for a great time. The food was decent enough, and I was very pleased with how quickly the beer was served considering that it was unlimited. Let's not forget about the actual show. Our performer was really good, and he was really funny too. It was basically a magic show with a little song and dance thrown in. There was some audience participation too, but nothing at all to be nervous about. Lastly, this is very family-friendly entertainment. I had no idea what to expect when coming here, but my son had been begging to go to this magic show since we had been to a birthday party at Wonder Works and he had seen a sign advertising for it. With Groupon in hand (check for those, they show up every now and again), our family headed out to the show. I expected sub par pizza, lame salad, the usual for these types of shows. The salad was better than expected, and if they don't have dressing you like you can slip out to the service counter outside and get other varieties. The pizza was honestly not cardboard, which was impressive. You get as much of this as you want, so come hungry. As for beverages, you have choices including soda and a few beers, all macrobrew stuff (I'm pretty sure Amberbock was one option). As for the show, this was beyond my expectations. We came when Tony Brent was headlining, and he did not disappoint. He was engaging, funny, and great with both the kids and the adults. His magic tricks were impressive. I don't want to give anything away, but I did participate in one of his tricks involving an orange and a $100 bill, I saw everything from start to finish, and still have no idea how he did it. It was very entertaining from start to finish. A few tips.....make reservations, they do tend to fill up. Check their website for who is performing, I'd highly recommend going when Tony Brent is there. Absolutely awful show. In defense of the "regular guy," we were unfortunate to have a "fill-in" magician/comedian. Cheap pizza, but unlimited. Pizza was edible but wouldn't go back and request it ever again. Salad was fine. Servers were good. If you find out the "regular guy" is taking the night off, don't bother. I felt like I just got ripped off. Paid $31.00 for pizza I wouldn't normally pay $5.00 for and was basically annoyed by the cheesy "magic and terrible jokes." This is supposed to be a great show for kids and this "fill in" was clearly not used to performing for kids. He made a joke about the Honeymooners! Really? I'm 43 years old and I don't remember the honeymooners! How does a kid get that joke? This show and pizza would have been "acceptable" if it was $9.99 per person, not $30. A friend had suggested this show, so while we were in Orlando at our timeshare, we thought we would give it a try. Our expectations were moderate and I have to say, exceeded. We enjoyed all parts of the evening. The salad and pizza and unlimited beverages were absolutely fine. The service was excellent and the show was fun and very entertaining with good audience participation. Fast-paced, good magic, and lots of laughs. The web site for the dinner show doesn't make this clear. It says $24.99 only. When you click to buy tickets, it sends you to a page to buy tickets to the WonderWorks. Looking back, I found where you buy both tickets, but it wasn't very clear, nor was it clear that you had to buy both and couldn't just buy a ticket for the dinner show. I've been to many comedy shows in the past and this one was one of the best. I was a bit leery seeing as this was an ongoing show, but I looked it up on Yelp & on You Tube and thought it was good. After sitting through the show, I must say, I was very impressed. It was a great, fun experience & I highly Recommend it. The price is easily the best for all dinner shows in orlando, as well as great for eating a bunch of pizza and chugging a crap-ton o' beers. I would say the only down side would be that it is family style so your sharing all food items with people you don't know, unless you have 6 or more people. I'm really baffled as to how this place has so many positive reviews?! Had it not been for the groupon I would've been pretty upset to have paid full price. I KNOW it's just a comedy show, with pizza and cheap beer, but man, everything was about as subpar as you can get. The pizza was COLD, and I kept "joking" with my boyfriend that it was the weeks leftover uneaten, unsold pizza from the day time. Because that's actually what it tasted like. And the group of four (crammed) next to us devoured an entire pizza while six of us split one. Granted, they brought more but it's still a little awkward, ESPECIALLY when they cram you at long, bench type tables that are only half full and you're elbow to elbow with the person next to you. The only bonus: bottomless alcohol. And boy was this NECESSARY. The beer selection was bud or bud light. No thanks. I opted for the warm "merlot" which was definitely barefoot brand. The funniest part of the show? The couple across from us was just as awkward and confused as us the whole time, so we bonded over this. The comedian was the substitute so maybe this was the problem. But MAN were the jokes stale, nobody laughed, he made long awkward pauses, and you could actually feel people getting annoyed and uncomfortable. People keep saying "this is great for kids!"
