We went here for happy hour which was from 4-7pm. This is their daily happy hour. There are drink specials and certain appetizers which are 1/2 off as well. I wanted the big pretzel and the chicken tenders, but those are the two items excluded from the happy hour discount. They have $4 margaritas which we ordered and a $4 rum punch. The margarita was premade and was poured out of a drink dispenser. The rum punch was weak. The ambiance of the place is great. You sit by the gorgeous pool and enjoy the Florida weather. For food, I ordered the chips with 3 dips and pot stickers. The chips and dip were delicious. The potstickers left much to be desired. They were very oily and were served on top of some weird slaw I wasn't a fan of.

'39 Poolside Bar & Grille Review: This is a GREAT poolside location for brunch on Sunday. Wonderful seating with plenty of shade. They had some great bloody mary and beer specials. And the food is delicious and reasonable. My only complaint would be that the web site said one price for the drink specials and our bill had higher prices. They told me they had not updated the web site... which is always an unacceptable reason to me. But they did honor the advertised prices once I brought it to our servers attention. She -BTW- was wonderful!

Brisket nachos were everything I wanted them to be! My husband enjoyed the Korean Barbecue tacos. Michael was a fun server, and the atmosphere sitting outside for lunch during the rain was great.

Had Sunday brunch here because of a Groupon and I must say, I liked it! I had the 39 Benny which was a lot of food. Service was friendly and very attentive. Live music was playing and just sitting by the pool was nice and relaxing. $3 mimosas $5 doubles. Overall, a good experience.

Went for brunch this morning with my boyfriend. I had the 39 benny with mini waffles and he got the brunch burger with yucca fries. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the benny. He also got a mango mimosa which he said was excellent. The service was great and overall I really enjoyed it.

Let's focus on the positives first: the atmosphere is incredibly fun and the live music Saturday night was a perfect touch at the bar. There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.

(I wish I could remember my waitress's name cuz she was handling 3 tables like a pro). My honey loved the shrimp and grits dish so much he ordered it twice and he had the Cajun chicken pizza (tried that and it was bussin') as well as the churro waffles. I left with a full belly and happy face. The only dish I didn't like was the Tempura Corn Pancakes. No dice. I was too full to finish my banana foster waffles but I would have demolished them with a bigger stomach. They have a taco station that you do have to get up to make your tacos yourself but I was way too lazy to do all that. Parking was complimentary valet and also hella convenient as well. 10/10 experience.

Inside, the decor is very welcoming and warming. I sat at the bar in some very comfy bar seats. Chatted with the bartender a bit about the signature drinks and decided on the Campfire. This was a take on the popular smoked old fashioned. Instead of the smoke in the drink, it's served beside the drink, hence giving one a sense of sitting by a campfire. The drink was made with brown butter washed bourbon which gave the drink a nice velvety texture. I ordered the double fried wings with traditional hot sauce. It's nice that they come with celery and carrots with the choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing. I was disappointed in the wings because they were far from double fried. They should have been extra, extra crispy and they were just average. Went back the next night and had the Pork Belly Skewers and they were excellent. They had a spicy bulgogi glaze and were cooked perfectly. All in all, a good place. I will go back on my next trip to Orlando.

Both were above average when you take into account $30 for the steak and $22 for the salad. This place is expensive. I wasn't drinking, nor was my wife. However, everyone else that did get drinks said they were great. Again, you will wince at the price of $18 for a mixed drink more than likely. I'm a fan of Taffer because he basically invented NFL Sunday Ticket and his show on Spike is fun. I am glad I got to experience going there once. One issue I have a massive problem with is their policy on gratuity for large parties. Mandatory gratuity? Makes sense. Making that mandatory gratuity 20%? Pushing it, but okay. Calculating that mandatory gratuity on the post-tax total? That's greed. I will not be returning based on this alone. They even have the gall to ask for an ADDITIONAL tip after that.

I was making ok time but when I got into the lobby I knew I only had 15 minutes to spare. And there was a long line to check in. When I finally checked in I only had minutes left. I walked up the busy evening bar with little to no hope. And yet one of the busy bartenders saw me and said they had last call already, but they would get me for one. Halleluiah. The drinks are way on the high side. Charging $50 for 1 oz of Blanton's is ridiculous, and $24 for an Old Fashioned feels more like Miami nightclub pricing than a hotel bar.
