Shortly after checking in I was quite hungry for my travels and decided to enjoy the beautiful weather and go to the poolside restaurant associated with this club at the hotel. There are three different choices for seating. A hightop near the bar, regular tables at the bar, sitting at the bar, or sitting at a regular umbrella table by the pool. I guess that makes four options. I chose a high top. The menus are already on the tables and I was quickly seated and greeted by my waitress who asked what I wanted to drink and I ordered a club soda with lime. Yeah variety of good options for appetizers and meals ranging from a hummus salad to burgers to tacos and three kinds of fries including regular potato fries, sweet potato fries, and yucca fries. I opted for the shrimp tacos with a side of sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy and quite yummy. The tacos were not great but not awful and came with a green sauce that was pretty tasty. The tacos are included in the order so it made for a decent sized meal. I was surprised when I received the check to find out that they had charged me six dollars for my club soda. Every restaurant I have ever been to has never charge me for a club soda. So they not only charged me for it but charged me twice because I got a refill. When I pointed this out to the waitress she said it is categorized as a soda but after some discussion she removed one of the charges. So I still had to pay three dollars for a club soda. If you're in the hotel and looking for some quick bite that are a decent meal or hanging out by the pool this is a worthwhile option. read more

Well we came here for lunch outside as e are staying at the hotel. It is a limited menu so that is the only thing to be aware of. We were there on a Sunday and it was brunch time (even though it was lunch time) - but the choices include salads and burgers too. I enjoyed my meal as the salads were plentiful and they were tasty as well. We sat at a high top by the pool under an umbrella. We went here for happy hour which was from 4-7pm. This is their daily happy hour. There are drink specials and certain appetizers which are 1/2 off as well. I wanted the big pretzel and the chicken tenders, but those are the two items excluded from the happy hour discount. They have $4 margaritas which we ordered and a $4 rum punch. The margarita was premade and was poured out of a drink dispenser. The rum punch was weak. The ambiance of the place is great. You sit by the gorgeous pool and enjoy the Florida weather. For food, I ordered the chips with 3 dips and pot stickers. The chips and dip were delicious. The potstickers left much to be desired. They were very oily and were served on top of some weird slaw I wasn't a fan of. read more

'39 Poolside Bar & Grille Review: This is a GREAT poolside location for brunch on Sunday. Wonderful seating with plenty of shade. They had some great bloody mary and beer specials. And the food is delicious and reasonable. My only complaint would be that the web site said one price for the drink specials and our bill had higher prices. They told me they had not updated the web site... which is always an unacceptable reason to me. But they did honor the advertised prices once I brought it to our servers attention. I never ever get headaches with drinking but after 1 pina colada, I had the worst throbbing headache ever. They must use superrrr low quality liquor for their mixed drinks...I just do not have an alternate explanation. If this is indeed true, I can only hope they improve the quality of their liquor. Went for brunch this morning with my boyfriend. I had the 39 benny with mini waffles and he got the brunch burger with yucca fries. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the benny. The unity of Dance opening party was held here. It is located by the lobby of the Rosen. There honestly is no close parking to the location. I parked in self parking, slapped my dancing heels on made the trek. It is surprisingly mostly carpet inside. It has a lounge-like feel to it. The dance floor is nice, it is a little on the slick side so becareful not to fall. There is a stage, the flooring on the stage is carpeting which is weird so best of luck to the performers on the stage. I ordered a moscow mule. It was pretty good. The staff was nice. It's a beautiful venue, but the doorman was drunk with power! He gave my friends and I a hard time about our IDs because they were old. Then proceeded to say I looked to young for my ID! I was the ONLY person in here on a Saturday night , I asked for the menu and the girl give me an attitude I then ordered two drinks and she said she couldn't read my ID ... the same one I used to check into the hotel .. I like the fact that we can stop into a nice club/bar with great music and an awesome ambience. The DJ was playing all the jams. The crowd was small and fun. The drinks were on point. It was the perfect setting for someone who's not into the crowded hot clubs with nothing but horrible house music. We'll be back. read more

Worst brunch ever. Service was terrible. Waitstaff would disappear for 5 or so minutes. Were they cooking the food? My chicken and waffles was not up to par. The chicken was overcooked and the waffles were soggy. Mimosas were weak and it wasn't real juice. A wait person would stop by every 15-20 minutes. This is a Rosen hotel. The experience should be amazing. This poolside brunch needs to close. I spoke with the hotel manager but he didn't seem to care. Don't go here. Go to Maxine's or Boheme. Grabbed a $45 groupon for 2 brunches with unlimited mimosas for Club39's sunday brunch. Redeemed this past Sunday. The afternoon started off great as there is more than enough free self parking which is rare anywhere on International Drive these days. However, upon arriving at the club to be seated, all tables were filled. No problem except that there was no system to take names and then call patrons once a table was ready. It was all "first come, first served". Very inefficient and problematic. We ended up waiting 35 minutes before we were seated. Both of us ordered the crab cakes benedict which was edible, if nothing to write home about. I would've given this place 1 star except for our waiter, Michael who was GREAT!!! Wish I had gotten his last name. Compared to the other sour-faced staff there, he was a ray of sunshine. Made sure our mimosas were constantly topped off and was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wrote on the check that HE should be the manager of the place! Based on the wait time and the quality of the food, I would not make a special effort to go back. There are many places which offer a much more appealing unlimited mimosa brunch for not much more than my groupon cost. Feeling as if I had traveled through the Sahara desert, I make my way into the hotel and began searching for restaurant . Come find out, I was given a pirate map with no buried treasure, apparently they don't believe inside seating and they love playing hard to get. After 30min of waiting to sit down, my girl friend already had a butter knife pressed against my neck, due to the extreme temperature. I could only describe my blood Mary as a fresh tomatoes eating a rotten tomato, regurgitating the tomatoes and then a young man in his teens (fresh asparagus in his system) pissing in my cheap glass. Once the food came out, it was a more underwhelming experience then studying for a test and failing. I felt as if my ball sack was kicked harder then Pele on cocaine. Once my burger arrived, I knew the feeling of a Japanese samurai after dishonoring his family. Not only did I let myself down, my girl friend was more upset then a bird that can't fly. I have been dozens of times and never had a bad experience. One of my favorite things about this venue is the live music they offer on weekends. It is the perfect hang with some friends to grab a couple of drinks and appetizers and listen to a band. They keep things going with DJs all night. It is a good time for sure! The official Grand Opening is Saturday, April 25, 2015, so I am certain we will continue to see great things from them. read more
