HORRIBLE!!! Paid $88+ for both of my daughters' fills, and the nails were bumpy, uneven, and grainy like sand was on them. They also couldn't give me a set price - they kept changing the price throughout the process, but I caught them up and called them out. Three days later and the nail is lifting and you can't even tell they filled them. TWO CAME OFF!!! I complained about one set at the time of service, and they never even added acrylic to them to fix the dents and bumps - they just put three coats of gel polish over top the flaws and charged us an additional $20 for the gel polish. I was really excited when I found out they were under new ownership. The first time I went, they did an amazing job and were very friendly. Today not so much. I showed them a picture of ombré nails and asked if they could do it, they said yes. Told me the girl that was going to do them was the ombré queen. Throughout the whole thing she kept asking me to change color shades because they weren't blending, so I did. Before she put the top coat on them, I kept asking her if that's what they should look like, she said once she smoothed them and put the top coat on, that they would look like the picture. After she put the top coat on one hand, she could tell I wasn't happy and tried to say that the ones in the picture were done with an airbrush not dip. Told me they didn't do airbrush there. She looked at the picture several times and said she could do it, but then tried to use an excuse for why they didn't look like the picture. The fourth picture is what I asked for, the other pictures are what I got. The only ones she did right were the yellow. The rest aren't even blended and there are spots missing color. I told the owner I was unhappy with them and asked if I could come back Saturday and get something else. He said, "yes!" I tipped the lady $20.00 for her time figuring she was just having an off day. The owner then precedes to tell me that she is the one that does designs and if I want designs from now on, that I have to go somewhere else. She preceded to tell me that I wasted 2 hours of her time. No! You wasted 2 hours of my time and I wish I had never tipped you. read more

Very inexperienced nail tech, that overly and aggressively drilled my nails until they were burning. When I became tense, she got annoyed and did a horrible job on my nails. No buffing after my fill, and she even used the drill to "cut down" my nails...and way to short. The prices they are charging do not match the skill or service. I would rather remove my acrylics with pliers than ever go to this place again! I don't know how they are still in business! I've been here twice, because I believe in second chances. The first time was 10 years ago when I was in high school, the service was horrible then and hasn't changed since. I had my nails filled by the owner Kenny Vo, who basically refused to do the shape I wanted, saying that if I wanted to make my oval nails more almond, it would cost an extra $7! What!?! Ok. Then Mr Vo proceeded to tell me my nails were too long, sir if I wanted short nails I wouldn't need acrylics, and wouldn't be giving you my money! The color selection was deplorable, everything was hideous, good thing I always carry my own polish just in case. I left with bloody cuticles and a bubbly polish job. I tried another salon and the wait was too long. I came here and none no one was here. The tech was very nice. The greeting I received from another lady was the worst. She didn't get up from her chair and she talked hands free on the phone the whole time. Also, fake bird chirping the whole time. Then another tech appeared from the back with her phone also on hands free (watching what sounded like a soap opera). Anything but relaxing. The tech did a good job but the visit was so annoying. First ever going to vo nails! Got a nice pedi but the lady was not focus on my pedi n my polish is horrible.. She missed several corners on my toes n my gloss is uneven. I've been here a couple of times and it's always been horrible. The most recent time I had a full set put on by the Male owner, Kenny. I came home and the nails were completely crooked. I mean not even close to straight. There were grooves and bumps both in the body of the nail and on the edges. I attempted to file it down myself. I got them looking fairly decent but decided to call and ask if I could go back in to have them re-filed. The female that answered the phone told me that my fingers were probably crooked and therefore the nails just looked crooked. My husband spoke to her as well and she began to yell even though he maintained a level temper. She even said that my husband may be able to control me but they couldn't and then hung up on my husband. I would not send my worst enemy here to get their nails done. I regularly go to Kenny at Vo Nails. I prefer short naturally shaped nails. I just say " fingertip length and not too square" and that's what I get. I always bring my own polish because I may want to do a touch-up before my next visit. I've been going to Vo Nails for over two years for acrylic nails. Also have had pedicures which were fabulous. If, after a service is nearly finished, you decide the work is not to your liking... I think an additional charge is fair for a re-do. As in many businesses, time is money. If the client sits and nit picks, you'll never get her out of the chair. I previously went to a place at Summit Mall and had repeated problems with lifting, sides of nails not being smoothed sufficiently and not being smoothed out under the nail tip. The tech there needed reading glasses and didn't like to wear them. Aren't we lucky to have so many choices? No one can make everyone happy! read more

This place is my favorite. The whole store has been redesigned including brand new pedicure stations! It is really nice and clean overall. The young man who has helped me the last few times I've been in is such a sweetheart! We always have such fun conversations while I get my gels done and it always turns out great. Everytime I get a pedicure the owners wife does it and she's constantly looking around and not concentrating on my pedicure. When she did my fingernails, she did the same thing...always in slow motion. She also doesn't speak English but answers the phone and schedules appointments. Of course when you showed up for the appointment, it wasn't on the books.....Go figure...Happened 3 times. Wasn't going to go back, but thought I'd try again because they're in a convenient location....The owner did my nails. Cut both my thumbs with the nail file that it took 4 days to heal. Also the colors you pick from their new brand of nailpolish is not the color that shows up on your nails, and they owners don't seem to care or offer to get the correct color. I've seen at least 3 people complain about this and made them fix it. The Vu family that used to run the nail salon were the best! I miss them. I found somewhere else to go! read more
