My husband and I had our pedicure appointments today and got to view their new spa. It is extremely clean, going above what is expected from the state. Social distancing is in place! This facility has a few different options for pedicures and we enjoyed the services provided; they seem to have more organic products! I think the prices are very reasonable. The Final Straw the only reason this review is getting 1 star (other than the fact that zero stars is not an option) is because the sweet nail tech sitting next to mine jumped in to salvage what she could of my nails after my nail tech (an older gentleman with glasses) absolutely wrecked them. i just wanted a simple gel manicure. my nails were the length i wanted them to be already, i just needed cuticles trimmed, nails filed/shaped to be more uniform, and the gel. that was it! what i got was atrocious...my nail tech started clipping my nails even though i specifically requested he not do that, my cuticles were ripped and shredded - causing bleeding on 3 of my fingers. he didn't even trim the cuticles- he just pushed them down and started painting. when i finally got a glimpse of the first coat i was appalled. i could have done a better job if i had just done my nails on my own at home - which is saying a lot because i am not good at painting my own nails. just as i was about to say something, the nail tech next to me stopped what she was doing and jumped in to trim my cuticles, file my nails, and re-do all of the coats of gel. i should also mention that my nail tech had super rough hands and dirty fingers/fingernails (dirt and grime were all up under his nails). he also kept wiping his runny nose with the back of his hand which completely grossed me out. my nails are now short, stubby, uneven, and the gel is already peeling. i have had a few not so great experiences here but this was the final straw. i will not be coming back to Anthony Vince or recommending it to anyone. i honestly hate that i still paid for the manicure but i had been in there for an hour and a half already and needed to get out. sincerely, never coming back read more

I was in town for a family memorial and was desperate for some self-care. Great Clips next door recommended this spot and I couldn't have been happier with my pedicure w/ Emily. Ive been coming here for about 2 years and it's always hit or miss; whether its price, customer service, or even how my nails come out, being 100% satisfied is something you won't experience here. They start off good if you're a new customer, but progressively get worse. I've noticed that some of the techs personally choose what they charge a customer, I've gotten fungus one time here, and my mom twice. I came back because a specific nail tech does my nails pretty well; up until recently when she began miscalculated AND miscommunicated her bookings. The first time she overbooked and I was finally taken 30 mins after my appointment was set (but I understand things happen so I didn't make a deal about it), yet the second time, I told her 3:30, she booked me for 3 o'clock, making it look like I was a "no show". After the nail told me I would have to wait 25 mins to be taken, I refused and asked for another nail tech to do builder gel on my natural nail, which came out perfect. These may seem like little concerns, but I wasn't even going to make this review until now since my BUILDER GEL NAIL came off, after I just got these done friday (I've attached a picture is my set of nails 4 DAYS after getting them done). I've been going here since March and have been seeing the same nail tech ever since and have been paying around the same price each time. Well I got my nails done 5/17, by someone different because mine was unavailable. The person who did my nails that day was very nice and professional but my nails didn't last 24 hours and I was overcharged. I had a nail completely break off the very next day, I went back to the nail shop trying to get my nail fixed on 5/18. I walked in soon as they opened that Sunday and spoke to John I voiced to John that I felt that I shouldn't have to pay for my nail to be fixed because it broke not even 24 hours later and at the expense of someone else. I've never had a broken nail 24 hours after service of my nails. John kept insisting that I pay, he didn't really care about the reason nor did he bother to listen. He then said he would do my nail but not how it originally was because he can't do that. I agreed but still wasn't paying for it, he asked me if "Do you want me to fix your nail or not" I replied with yes and he said "So shut up". I was appalled to be spoken to like that at a place of business so I got up to leave. As I was getting up John was shouting at me to get out and don't come back making this huge scene. I was in the parking lot after the interview when my usual nail tech pulled up and I told her what happened. She ended up fixing my nail for free without any problems. My nail tech does a great job and I hate that I have to stop going because of someone else. I will not continue to go somewhere where someone thinks they can speak to me any type of way. Poor service. Very bad chemical smell. Arrived for appt. Told 5-7 mins by front desk man. Waited 35 mins and not updated with time when I was going to be seen despite asking. Had to leave as I was never seen. Told them I couldn't wait longer. No one said anything or cared that I left. They try to fool consumers with Italian motif and name as if it's upscale. But it's a terrible cheap salon and they just grunt a couple words at you. Had terrible service first time but am open to give them a second chance since it could be a unique situation. I've been here several times but this time I was quite disappointed. I have never been in so much pain after a pedicure before. I thought I got cut and then it just burnt from the lotion, etc but my whole left foot seems to be rubbed raw and looks cracked, beat up. It did not look like that before going in. It hurt to walk on it. This is the only time anything has ever happened like that and I've been getting pedis for years. I am extremely disappointed in the complete lack of professionalism displayed by this shop towards my mother this afternoon. I have been a long time supporter despite several dissatisfactory services including poorly done polish, cheap polish that cracked and broke just days after service, etc., etc. I always paid and left generous tips and never complained. When I began working with Su, I thought I had found a good tech and a good person. I was wrong about the last part. I referred my mother to her and she has had several appointments with Su without issue. Good conversation and everything. However, this past week her calls stopped ringing through to the shop, she went to schedule an appt in person only to be rudely told by the man at the front desk, "Su block you", without explanation or warning. My mother is kind and respectful, pays without issue and tips well. The last person you'd expect to be treated this way. After approaching Su to inquire if she'd done something to offend, Su pretended not to speak English. That's when another staff person stepped in to offer a completely made up reason - that she can't take anymore clients because her schedule is full. This is nonsensical and an obvious coverup for their discrimination. Why would an entire shop block someone because one of their tech's schedule is supposedly full? A professional shop would call the client and tell them this and offer them an alternative. Sadly, my mother was denied this simple courtesy. Needless to say I will never spend another dime on this establishment and you should think twice as well. read more

I live in Las Vegas and was in town for a family event and wanted to get my nails done. My sister took me to this nail spa and Octavia was the nail tech to assist me. This is the 3rd chance I've given this salon and it disappoints every time. My nails constantly break when getting them done here so I stopped. I recently returned and it has not gotten better. First my gel peeled off. Then after getting a fill my nails were so thin they kept breaking and the manager is extremely rude. I've been looking for a salon that specializes in powder-dipped nails, and read a lot of good reviews about Anthony Vince. And I was not disappointed! Rae did such an amazing job! She helped me pick my colors, was very knowledgeable, and conversation was easy! Have been coming here for years on and off. Have never had a problem until yesterday. Came in to get dip on. Waited 30 minutes (I was the only one waiting) and then I got brought back. She couldn't find the color I wanted. Thought she picked a good match but you can never be sure until the dip is completed. She was super rough. She cut my finger and blamed it on my cuticle and suggested I get a manicure next time. If my cuticles were that bad then she should've suggested it at the beginning of the appointment. From my understanding it's $45 for dip and $50 for dip manicure. She continually was being rough cutting my cuticles and kept saying that I needed to have them done next time. Left very unhappy. I usually NEVER complain. But they charged me $50 (without doing the manicure) and I wasn't happy with the color and it was so sloppy. I called them right when I left saying I wasn't happy. They asked that I returned but I couldn't at the time. Made plans to come back later in the day. They were waiting for me at the front door. The manager or whatever he was immediately looked at my hands and was talking to her in their native language and I heard "cut" over and over again. As in she cut my fingers. I showed him the pictures right after. The plan was to have them redone but they HURT. So I asked for my money back and they removed the dip. He kept hovering over her and I could tell she was in the wrong. Once he left she kept telling me about my cuticles and I told her if they were that bad she should've mentioned it before the service. I have been to the Anthony Vince location in Cuyahoga Falls many times and always left very satisfied. I recently moved closer to the Hawkins location and last Friday 5/15 I came in for a full set. Within a week almost every single one of my nails had come off and the rest that didn't I had to soak off so I could at least file them and polish them at home until I can get into another nail salon for a new full set. I got my nails done on 5/11 by Tommy. He was nice, and had good conversation but did a terrible job on my nails. I paid $52 for this and today, 3 days later my nails are falling apart. I asked for a refund and they don't offer refunds. The manager Johnny attempted to fix my nails 3 times and they still looked like this. (The photo with the green sleeve shirt was the work that Tommy did) I only give them a one star because they aren't bad people, just not skilled in this area. I wish I would've read these reviews before visiting this nail salon. This was the worst service I've had anywhere and it cost me almost $300! I'm from Chicago w/a party of 6. 2 lil kids mani pedi, 1 kid pedi, 1 kid mani, 2 adult pedis & 1 adult acrylic full set. I was on my phone so I guess she thought i wasnt paying attention. My toes look like my 5 year old granddaughter polished them and they charged me $55. The tech never even filed them. My fingernails are soooo thick and they look fake...I know they are but I'm used to my nails much thinner & natural looking. These look like they were done in the 90s or something. Those cost me $78. I was asked if they were ok, the tech wasn't sincere in asking because she got an attitude when I let her know. I have polish around my nail bed & the back of my hand too. Then to add insult to injury they added tax to my bill. Who pays tax on top of the price for nail services? I never have. All the places I've been (over 59 years of my life) in this country, tax is included for nail services. They had the nerve to add tax on top of each service and I specifically saw & heard them charge everyone else the listed price...no tax. I made an appointment and I they still didn't assign a tech to me at the appropriate time. Also it cost $20 for gel on your toes and $15 with you hands (at most salons it's only $10 extra for both hands and feet and often times with some services it's offered in the price), coming from someone that gets their nails done regularly I would've done it but they don't even have good enough quality work for me to waste my money. And the tech barely scrubbed my feet for my pedicure. The only reason I went here was because it was close to campus but I will just have to make the trip back home for good quality nails.
