So, after losing my favorite nail artist after 6 years, I went on a long, sometimes painful, search for a new salon. I am EXTREMELY particular about cleanliness, professionalism, and standards, and I can gladly say all have been met. I will now be scheduling ( must make an appointment!) all of my pedicures here at Lila's. This gel pedicure went to the beach, swimming pool, and jogged for 6 weeks and NEVER chipped or cracked - period! It only peeled where I peeled it. It was so well done, there wasn't much of a "Lip" where it grew out. Finally, I have NEVER trusted ANYONE with a drill on my nails - EVER! I feel comfortable enough with their technique and cleanliness to trust them with a drill. My manicure with regular polish also held up at the beach and pool! I tell no lies! I work in healthcare and needed to be able to remove it easily, so I opted for regular polish. Again, no regrets. I wish more salons were this well run. read more

First time in and I will be making future appointments! The space was incredibly clean, and with all white interior that's hard to do! It was quiet as well and not over crowded, the music they had on was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. It's a family business and they were both so incredibly kind! Horrible. Not even sure where to start. The owner's husband did my pedicure. I should have been warned when I explained to him that I like to have my cuticles very cleaned up and trimmed. His response? "I'll do what I can." Oh boy. He was also very put off and annoyed that I had chosen three different colors because I wasn't yet sure what color pedicure I wanted. I thought it was a very odd and unfriendly reaction, especially for a first time customer. He aggressively pushed my cuticles back with a metal sharp, cuticle pusher, and it was very painful, but I figured he was going to do a really good job trimming and cleaning them up. You can see by the photos that I was wrong. For $48 I would also expect to have my feet thoroughly scrubbed with pumice. He applied the scrub/exfoliant, and then very lightly rubbed it around with the pumice block. Again, you can see from the photos that this did nothing to soften and exfoliate the dry skin around my nail bed. (To clarify, this is not an issue I've ever had before. I have had hundreds of pedicures and the skin around my nail-bed always comes out, clean, fresh and moisturized, as it should after getting a pedicure!) He only partially trimmed my large toenail, making it completely uneven. He did not go around my nail beds with an orange stick as is customary, so my nails were never thoroughly cleaned. You can see from the posted photos that the end result was very shoddy. I asked the woman if I could speak to her about my experience and the man who performed my pedicure and she said "sure, he's my husband." Oh boy. I showed her my uneven toenail and asked her if she thought it was acceptable. She said she could even it up, and I tried to explain to her that it was too short and I didn't want it to be cut even shorter!! There was no reason for it to be trimmed the way he did, and at that point, I did not at all feel comfortable with anyone in the salon doing any further work on my feet. I have no idea how this place has such positive reviews. Maybe there is a lower standard of pedicure treatments in this area ? read more

Another great experience. I came here three years ago and loved it. It's about a 40 minute drive for me. My daughter was coming in from out of town so I thought I'd treat us and come here again. They did not disappoint. I love the owners of this place. Very personable, friendly, and they both give a great manicure and pedicure. The ambience of this facility is amazing. It reminds me of Miami FL. It does not smell of potent nail products. It was a truly great experience again. I highly recommend this facility. read more

After reading other reviews I had high hopes for this salon- most stated how it was the "best pedicure ever." I've had many pedicures in my life and I will say that this one was no where near the "best ever." I would say it was average- at best. The salon seemed clean though. These people are rude and unprofessional. There are a lot better places to go. Based on the strip mall area they are in, these ppl need to stop acting like they're the hottest game in town. I'm glad my service stopped before it ever started bc the woman was so rude I lost all trust in any ability she might have had to do a good job and she just made things uncomfortable for the few minutes I was there before leaving. If you don't want to work with people then don't own a business! If you have a problem with a customer then say it like a professional. This felt like total amateur hour. read more

Walked in, and they had time to give me as an adult a pedicure, however when they realized it was for my 4 year old..they abruptly changed their minds and said they didn't have time, and "We don't do kids". I was town from Los Angeles & DESPERATELY needed a pedicure. In LA, I'm used to very a very quick & transactional nail salon experience (the kind where they just wanna get u in & gone as soon as humanly possible, and with always very mildly satisfactory results). But this place was BEYOND my expectations. Not only was the ambiance of the salon super zen & relaxing but Lila & her husband were just the coolest, nicest two people. And super interesting & fun to chat with (also note, I'm from LA....and we DO NOT normally like to chit chat so, that's just saying a lot right there lol). But MOST IMPORTANTLY, Lila gave me the best pedicure I've ever had in my life (and I'm not over exaggerating). She took her time & it was clear she takes a massive amount of pride in her work. She gave me an incredible hot stone foot massage & left me with the prettiest feet in Ohio. Again, seeing this is normally NEVER my nail experience in LA, I HAD To leave a review because businesses like this deserve to be recognized. I went her today with my daughter and we got manicures and pedicures. I can't rate Costa and Melinda highly enough! They were so personable, attentive and sweet -- really good at what they do and they didn't rush us! Their salon is gorgeous!! The decorating and atmosphere make you feel relaxed right away. I've been through many nail salon throughout my 13 years living here in Ohio. I wish I found them sooner! They are amazing. Melinda does the most amazing, breath-takingly beautiful job on my nails, each And every time. My dip nails have lasted close to 4 weeks and the only reason I come back earlier is because I am not a fan of long nails. when I first went to this shop, I had short, brittle, weak damaged nails. Now, over 35 years, I've never had nails these long, strong and healthy even with getting manicures. I have invited my friends to go with me here, and each time they fall in love with this place as much as me, and are only going to this shop from now on as well. They are so super nice, I feel like I've known them for years, maybe all of my life. They take their time, to give you quality nails. They don't dip your nails in containers but scoop which is high quality cleanliness. You got a design in mind, they are willing to do it and make sure it's perfection before you leave. I highly recommend this place, I cannot speak highly about them. I am telling everyone I know to come here, and I highly recommend if you never had your nails done before, or not set on your nail tech-please come visit here. You won't pick another place again!
