My family and I just tried this place out for the first time today for dinner. My dad and I ordered pho which was good. My sister ordered a pork chop dish and it was average. I remembered when this place first opened. it was so PACKED on the weekends for the first 10-12 months are so. i haven't been back at VN in a while so i don't know how its doing business-wise. but its the only pho place in morrow for the small Vietnamese community around there, and the nearest one is Dai loi. my review might be biased because i don't think pho outside of my house is great period. I only eat fast food pho when i'm desperate and there's nothing else better to eat. That's cause my parents make the best darn pho so everything outside my house taste bland. however, i did try their hu tieu, and its pretty good. i've managed to finished the whole thing even when i wasn't even hungry. their bubble tea however isn't that great. i think they put too much flavoring? because it taste so....artificial sometimes. read more

I dig this joint like whoa. You can eat here for, like, pennies. The food is crazy good: try number 15. Don't forget to pile on the chili-hot-as-lavafire sauce, and score yourself an avocado milkshake. DO NOT GET THE SALTED LEMONADE. It's exactly what you'd expect: wonderfulicious fresh-squeezed lemonade.....sweetened with sodiumchloride sugar subsitute. The spring rolls are tasty. Usually when I go to Pho restaurants, they're typically in a small, cramped space but VN Pho was by far the biggest and most spacious! The restaurant is spread out and has an overall nice scenery. The host/waiter was polite and attentive. The menu had a vast variety of options but I just stick to what I know lol. I ordered the well done flank Pho and it was pretty good. By the way, this isn't a "mobile place," but your lower than average Vietnamese restaurant aka Pho AVOID this place at all cost! I have eaten at this place a total of two times and each time the food was just BAD! I have never eaten bad pho, or bun bo hue but this place does give the saying, "first time for everything." First time I ate here, the meat tasted old and spoiled...meat that needed NOT to be serve but thrown away! This was about 2 years ago, I owned it up just being a fluke. Today I went there with my mom and once again, 2 years later...the SAME thing happens! Ordered the Bun Bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy noodle soup) and the soup was overly salty with no flavoring and the meat just tasted old. Oh did I mention that when walking in, I saw the waitress searching for "gold." And I do not mean the precious metal...and said waitress came with our water with fingers being very close to the top of the glasses...needless to say I didn't drink the water. Very tasty. I ordered the spring role, grilled pork rice plate, and hot coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Everything tasted great except the hot coffee. Visited this restaurant the day before Thanksgiving and the place was packed. This PHO restaurant serves great PHO! Ordered the Duck Rice Porridge, Kids Meal Beef Pho Meal, Fried Spring Rolls, Grilled Lemongrass chicken with Rice and Large Combo Pho. The food arrives quickly and be prepared they serve large portions! The only downside was the broth. It was a little darker than the traditional PHO broth but was palatable. The Rice Porridge with Duck: The Porridge itself was not the traditional porridge made with rice that was boiled for hours. You could taste that an instant version of rice was used. Lots of duck meat and once mixed together with the ginger based sauce....it was good! The kids meal Beef Pho meal was surprising, lots of beef in the small pho, its just right and worth the price as it also comes with a canned soft drink. The grilled lemongrass chicken was moist and again I cannot emphasize the amount of food. The spring roll that came with the meal was actually peppered shrimp rolled in spring roll wrapper and fried. Truly tasty and was served with the traditional fish sauce flavored dipping sauce. If you are looking for a better than average Pho place in Morrow, ATL, this place is definitely worth the visit. read more

this place hits the spot. yummy, clean, quick and cheap. food is tasty and totally satisfied my ethnic cravings. we had pho with steak, flank, tendon, tripe and brisket....yum and under 6 bucks for a bowl ginormous enough for two greedy adults and a hungry child to share. we also split com thit nurong. the pork had decent seasoning, nice sized portion. the cha gio were crisp and tasty... i had the feeling that they may have been really delish if they had been served piping hot though. service was fine, had a very helpful server who answered my friend's questions very patiently, but the place is basically no frills. that's not a bad thing either, just don't expect any ambiance or jazziness! i had a taro bubble tea....which was just okay, but they're plenty cheap enough where i'd get it again...just because i love them. blended only btw. the owner says that he'd like to expand to have bahn mi, which would make me very very happy. all in all, this was a nice discovery, i'll be back if i'm ever up in morrow again. read more

Stopped in for a bahn mi to take home- I ordered the BBQ chicken and had them add pate to it. First off, this bahn mi was a really good size and only $3.75- practically a steal! Sometimes the bread can be too tough or chewy with bahn mis but this bread was perfect- just the right amount of chew to hold up well but soft enough that it was easy to eat and didn't scrape up the inside of my mouth. I think without the pate it would have been too dry for me- I'm the type that usually gets extra mayo- but the the pate almost acted like a mayo giving it that perfect bit of moistness. This place, when it opened a few years ago, was really the "hip" new pho place that everyone wanted to go to. Young, relatively attractive waiters and waitresses, prompt service, and good food. Not great, but very acceptable and much better located than pho Dai Loi in forest park for a lot of Viet Morrow folks. However, it's been a while, and it's gone downhill... The silverware and table were FILTHY the last time we went - a weird sticky scum stuck to all the chopsticks and the table was greasy looking. Undeterred, my mom fielded my protests and ordered the Pho Dac Biet anyways, and I got one of the two veggie stir-fried noodles. My dish was fine, but actually, it was just shy of BLAND AS HELL. :( However, because I ate most of it, I'll give it an extra star. My mom's pho was absolutey atrocious though. Dark, murky broth, no Pho-sy aroma, and skimpy on the veggies. She only ate half. So, I do'nt think I will be returning anytime soon, unless they clean up their act (literally). read more

After spending the day moving furniture into my new place VN Pho came highly recommended by my friend who was helping me move. When we walked in I was very impressed by how clean and well decorated the restaurant was. We were promptly told to sit where ever we wanted. As we took our seats our server quickly brought out waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Being as parched as we were water was the only things on our mind but i definitely want to try some of their specialty drinks next time I'm in. We quickly looked over our menus. As it was my first time here I was a little overwhelmed by the selection of noodle, sandwich, and pho options (not a bad thing to be overwhelmed by). We started with the an order of both the pork and the shrimp rolls; both of which were fried to perfection. The sauces served weren't too sweet and complimented the rolls perfectly. By stalling with an appetizer we were finally ready to place our order. I decided upon the Banh Mi Special. My friend got the beef pho. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Now that my Banh Mi was here and immediately sought out the condiment tray. It was well organized and clean with a great selection. I personally chose to put siracha on the Banh Mi and it added a great depth of flavor to the sandwich. At this point we had depleted our water supply and were running low. This is where I sadly have to take off a star. Once we received our food there was no followup service in regards to drinks or the quality of our food. Unfortunately we sat without water for quite sometime before I was able to flag down a staff member for a refill. I'm sure if I experienced otherwise next time I would have no hesitation giving VN Pho a 5 star review and I am looking forward to another great meal here! I was visiting Georgia to see Madonna for the weekend and stumbled upon this place. As soon as I walked in, I noticed nothing but Vietnamese patrons. That is a sure hell sign that the food is legit. I was greeted, seated and served promptly. I ordered the Pho with round eye steak I normally order pho with tofu, but that wasn't an option. The broth was perfect, the meat was sooo tender. I also ordered a coconut with taro bubble tea. I have never had such a perfect tasting bubble tea! My friend didn't order pho, she ordered something with meat, cucumber, peanuts and noodles. I've been coming to this gem for the past six years by myself, with my kids, and with my whole family - and I have never been disappointed. There's not too many healthy and ethnic restaurants in the south side so for a place like vn pho to have been around for nearly ten years is a breathe of fresh air. Especially when most of the time many of the good Vietnamese restaurants are in Atlanta band further up north. It is a clean and spacious restaurant with quick service - food comes out usually under ten minutes unless you're with a large party and ordered a hot pot or something more elaborate. My favorite things to order are the chili lemon grass chicken with white rice, the grilled chicken vermicelli rice noodles, and of course pho (I usually get a medium combination with beef meatballs added on to it). I also like how they have the option of pork or shrimp meat in their fried and fresh egg rolls for those who don't eat the swine lol. read more

We visited this place on Sunday, August 19th 2018. The waiter, without exaggeration, came and asked if we were ready to place our order inside of a couple minutes of us being seated. We asked for a little time to decide. Once he took our order, it was brought out by OTHER STAFF, one plate at a time about 5 minutes between dishes. NEVER ONCE, did our waiter return to ask if everything is okay or if we needed anything else (like refilling our beverages). We didn't see him until after we were finished, when he came out to take another table's order and returned to the kitchen without ever acknowledging any of his tables, that's when we decided that we wouldn't acknowledging him either and left zero tip. We were then waiting for our check, only to discover that you don't receive a check, but need to go to a counter in the rear of the restaurant where you pay. We wish we had read the reviews before going, like the review by Hank, who speaks Vietnamese. Never would I recommend you visit this establishment! We went to this place because our son stopped in from out of town on a Sunday, and our usual Vietnamese restaurant (Dua Vietnamese in Fayetteville, GA) was closed.
