Nothing but praises for my experience with HomeStar Security…read more Originally I tried working directly with ADT and it was an absolutely nightmare of an experience. Thankfully, did a little more research and came across HomeStar Security, and it was day and night difference. Talking to Mike was great - totally understood my needs, didn't press for any features or services that I didn't want, and got me scheduled for an install appointment (upgrading existing equipment) in a short timeframe. Brent - the technician who came to the house to perform the install - was on time, friendly, efficient, and helpful. Was quoted 2 hours for the install, and finished exactly within 2 hours. Brent also gave a great walkthrough on how to use the system, and was happy to answer questions that my wife and I had. If you're considering ADT, work with these guys! Thanks so much!

The system got installed the second day after they came, and everything worked precisely and accurately. The package comes with a motion sensor, but I already have one from my old system, so they give me an extra key fob with no charge instead of the sensor. It was very nice. They also put an ADT secured sign outside my house to increase the security level more. They called me after installation, making sure everything is okay. I have some troubles using ADT pulse (the iOS app for controlling the system), and they stayed on the line helping me trouble shooting and fixed the issue. Also, got quick enough replies when I ask them questions via text msg. Very nice product and even nicer service. 5*.

I am very picky and not easy to please. I had been looking for security at my shop, due to some troubles lately. I can't say enough about his expertise and could tell that not only knew a lot about what he did, but also loved what he did. After looking at 4 different places I decided to go with him. The installation was perfectly done and his employees were clean, courteous to my staff and very professional. They were very well educated and had a lot of experience with installations. This installation went great and was walked through on how to use this system. I did not have any issues and had no questions after this walk through. I was very pleased. Very questionable business practices. Bay Alarm purchased my previous alarm provider who provided…read moreservice for both our business and residential. Repeatedly we have contacted them to make changes to our system (add/remove people) and have been told that they did not get all of the information they needed to administer our account from the company that they purchased. (That sounds like a YOU problem.) Unfortunately, there solution is to send a tech out and charge ME in order to get that information so they can properly administer the account. We escalated the issue and were told that while they didn't have said information, we would have to pay a service call for the tech to get that information. Upon doing our research appears this is not an uncommon issue with questionable service call charges. We will shift our business elsewhere as they have no interest in properly servicing our account, and can't service our account to the level they service all of their other accounts. Not interested in being "nickle and dimed" when we did NOT choose for them to buy the old company. They certainly did not tell us that they couldn't properly administer the account.....while they collect their fees like clock work.

He came out to our home only one day after my call, assessed the situation and gave us a very fair deal on security that was what we were looking for, nothing more nothing less. The technicians arrived just 2 days later. Josh and Ezekiel were fantastic. They did quality work and cleaned up after themselves.
