We went back and forth several times, and it felt like they were refusing to give it to me unless I purchased glasses there. It got to the point where I had to go to another eye doctor the next day and ask them to call Bronx Eye Care directly to request my prescription for me. Only then was I able to get it. I later learned that patients are legally entitled to receive their glasses prescription after an exam, so this situation was extremely frustrating. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed with my experience. It honestly felt like they were trying to pressure me into spending money there instead of respecting my rights as a patient. As a younger patient, I also felt like they assumed I wouldn't know any better, which made the experience even more upsetting. I hope they improve their practices so other patients don't have to go through the same situation.
