The Grand Opening was yesterday. Today was the second day, there is still some kinks that need to be worked out. There was a line so I asked is it for the free bowl or is it to order line. Turns out it's the free item line that starts at 1PM. If I didn't ask, some folks waiting to order would be wondering why the line wasn't moving. I tried to order from 1 of the 3 kiosks (an additional 1 needed maintenance) however the item I wanted didn't have any choices so I canceled my order and went to the counter. If you sign up, you will receive 3 save $2 coupon which is a nice enticement. While at the counter, there was another customer waiting to be served. She thought the free bowl started at already. I advised her that the free bowl line is outside and it doesn't start until 1PM. She saw the line and left. I waited about 10 minutes and 1 of the employees, Amber, tried to help me when she saw I was waiting for a long time. One of the manager asked her what's going on and the manager thought she would explain how to use the kiosk with the kiosk that needs to be reset. She tried to put in the order for me until she realized I wanted brown rice instead of white rice. So, she directed me back to the counter where I proceeded to wait another 5-10 minutes before someone acknowledged me and helped me with my order. I did receive a bottle opener... thank you! Food was great though the process was a little bit disorganized since they are adjusting to the traffic flow. I wonder if the kiosk order would be faster or not since the folks who order the food around the time I did was still waiting for their food. Have to go back when it's not so packed.

"Colorful Eating, Healthy Living". Opened their second location in NYC, Madison/41, convenient to Grand Central, Bryant Park. Promises juicy chicken and Mexican cuisines with bright tastes of Asia... "rainbow eating". I'm not sure if it was just the ingredients I saw on the line, but I didn't taste or see Asian ingredients... my bowl had chicken, brown rice, corn salad, tomato salsa, fajita vegetables and sour cream. Chicken was good but don't know if I would describe it as juicy ("say bye to dry. powered by the juicy lock method")... everything was flavorful but again, based on what I saw as ingredients to pick on the assembly line, I wouldn't say it was "rainbow eating". I would definitely eat here again for a fast meal.

Food was really disgusting. Inedible, hard pieces, soggy, under cooked rice. Awful will not be back.

Stopped by on a Friday night for dinner with my best friend. The place itself is gorgeous, moody,…read moreand very architecturally pleasing. To start, we had the lychee martinis. It's not your typical lychee martini. It has Aperol and pineapple, which gives it a great flavor. My only note is that I wish it were a bit stronger. For appetizers we had the yellowtail, which is a must get. It was delicious. We also had the lobster spring rolls, another great dish, and the crispy wontons, which were good but not my favorite compared to everything else. For our entrée we got the beef tenderloin, another must get. It was amazing, super tender, and melts in your mouth. We had it with the fried rice, which was solid. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection. Overall, this place is gorgeous and the food matches. I would definitely return. The service was also great, the perfect balance of letting you do your own thing and truly enjoy your evening while still checking in. It is pricey. We each paid $184 including tip, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or to spoil yourself a bit.

What started as a quick break turned into one of our favorite moments of the afternoon. We ended up chatting with the bartender for quite a while, swapping recommendations for speakeasies and cocktail bars around the city. It's always refreshing to meet someone who's genuinely passionate about their craft and happy to share local favorites. The cocktails were excellent, and the conversation made the experience even better. This wasn't actually our first visit--we celebrated my birthday here about three years ago, and I still remember how impressed we were with both the food and its presentation. It was nice to return and be reminded why we enjoyed it so much. We also learned that 53 has opened a speakeasy downstairs that's open on select weeknights and features live jazz. Needless to say, that's already on our list for our next trip to the city. Whether you're stopping in for a full dinner or just a well-made cocktail and a break from the Midtown bustle, 53 is well worth a visit.

I usually get the wonton soup with the jiaozi dumplings, and it's one of my favorite things on the menu. I haven't really seen that combination anywhere else, and I think it's really unique and really good. They also have a great happy hour. I'm not the biggest fan of the wings, but the shrimp and lobster roll is definitely worth trying. The service has always been good when I've visited, and the atmosphere is always a vibe. It's close to the Theater District, so it's a great spot to grab dinner before or after a show. There's usually a nice crowd, and you might even bump into an actor or celebrity. Overall, it's a place I keep coming back to because the food is consistently good, the service has been solid, and the overall experience is always enjoyable.

The ambiance meets you at the street before you step into the restaurant, photo op. Beautiful mural . Enter in and the decor is stunningl. You truly get a feel for the design. Im not sure if there is an elevator but the actual restaurant is up a set of stairs. The space is big, as we were seated we kept walking pass seating areas and I thought to myself , we are still going lol. White table cloth service , sexy dim lighting but lit well enough to read the menu. Grown and sexy vibes. Very good looking crowd of people; something for everyone very diverse. It was a ladies night for me. Plenty of eye candy lol the fellas were also dressed nicely. Today's r&b , afro beats , reggae, a little hip hop was played and at the perfect volume. You can comfortably hear one another. Great date night, girls night or solo spot . They have a very long bar area. Its currently restaurant week and its such a good deal a app, entree and desert all for $45. It was 2 of us and we each got a different item to sample things: Oxtail spring rolls crispy outter layer, savory , tender meat 10/10 the dipping sauce isn't needed Chicken wonton were a 6/10 it seemed frozen and reheated Beijing chicken crispy flavor not a ton of batter 8/10 Black prawns plump flavor bombs , crisp vegetables a little salty for me 8/10 Both entrees served with a hefty side of white rice. We shared one rice and took the other to go with some of the left over protein. All the food came out nice and hot. Deserts Dark chocolate mousse I wasn't a fan too bitter for me Vanilla creme brulee also wasn't a fan a little bit of a weird after taste. It was my bestie birthday they brought a sparkler and some of the staff sang happy birthday with one of the items. There is a photo lady she was nice and roped us lol into buying 2 photos they come framed and with access to a digital copy $54. Cocktail Elderflower mojito very refreshing but it better be at $22 lol We took an Uber but the door man informed us they do offer valet. Right next door is a parking facility,Street parking seemed manageable for the area. Auto 20% gratuity was added to the bill. Attended here on a Friday night. I recommend making reservations. This was my first visit but will not be my last.
