I love kung fu milk tea but this one was closer so I chose to try it out. When you come in it has a smell of some kind of spice I can't put my finger on. But whatever I still ordered my drink , the girl as the register didn't look to thrilled to be there either. The drink tasted like that smell of the place specifically the bubbles. Sadly I will not be returning. read more

Food and boba good staff is all luck if u get a good one u get a good one and if u get a bad one u get a bad one

I came here for a snack and maybe try out a new drink. I have been having too much of the usual bubble milk that I wanted to try something else. Out of randomness, I chose the earl grey float. It looked nice and I was expecting it to taste just like regular tea. I was actually impressed by it, it was good, but I found it a bit too sweet. I also ordered basil popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries, which was okay. You can't say it's the best but it's good.I would come back here whenever I have the time to go to Bay Parkway. read more

This is my first time here I got out of the hospital New Mexico after fractured my ribs and said I'm going to go get some bubble tea and some Popeye chicken. this is a very clean place and the staff is friendly and I got myself a low sugar bubble tea and I also got some garlic white chicken that I used to get in Japan and the bubble tea from Thailand in Taiwan read more

Glad a bubble tea spot opened close to home. There are a whole lot of choices when it comes to drinks here. I personally like the original milk tea, and the yakult drinks. They also sells snacks, my favorite is the Taiwanese fried chicken pieces, comes in couple different flavors. read more

This is one of my favorite bubble tea chains. Their popcorn chicken is always packed with flavor and freshly fried to order. I usually get the spicy popcorn chicken with a lychee bubble green tea with half sugar. The new addition of the long tables makes it a great spot to study. It's nice to have a bubble tea spot so close to the train station. read more

They serve standard bubble tea with limited selection of flavors. Mild tea flavors compared to tenren and kung-fu tea. During busy times, the store is severely understaff and takes about 20 minutes to get your order. The store is overly hot when it's 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Their 7th free drink loyalty policy isn't truly free as they give you 3.25 discount when the cheapest drink cost 3.5. read more

At last a bubble tea spot finally open ! Vivi in bay parkway ! :) WOOT WOOT. I no longer have to travel to west bubbles to get bubble tea. They have a large variety of drinks and snacks for you to choose from such as takoyaki, popcorn chicken, tempura, Taiwanese bbq sausages, herbal jelly, french fries and onion rings ! I love the Mango Yakult with Ice jelly ! YUMMMMMMMM. The snacks there are a must try ! The popcorn chicken is baggginnn ! Service here is great the staffs here are super nice and sweet. This place will forever have my service ! Make sure you bring cash ! because they do not accept credit or debit ! read more

Ordered something very basic. Large bubble milk green tea, no ice with 30% sugar. Can't taste any tea even when it's less sweet. They also gave so much bubble that even after finishing the drink there's still 1/3 cup of bubbles... read more

I was pretty excited about this new bubble tea place opening up in my neighborhood. I guess since they just opened so everyone in the neighborhood wanted to try their bubble tea and staff needed to adjust to the service, hence the long line to wait for order and the long wait to actually get the drink itself. Also, I think the slow service is due to the staff's familiarity with their menu. Anyways, let's get to the review of the drink that I had ordered and the snacks that I had order. Kumquat Lemon Ice Jelly Tea - they ran out of basil seed in the container and just gave me the sliver that was left and not bother to open a new supply of basil seed to add to my drink. Its almost like giving you two tapioca bubble when you order bubble tea. That totally mess up my experience! I waited on a very long line for a very long time for an incomplete drink. I even order a large size one! NOT WORTH THE $4.50! Popcorn Chicken (basil) - it was pretty yummy and came out right away, so I was eating that while waiting for my drink to be ready. bbq pork sausage skewer - i don't really like it, but that might just be due to personal taste. Another little something that I would like to add is that place is DIRTY!!! No one bother to clean the tables. I see sauces smear all over the table, straws on the floor and menus all over the floor...they need to hire someone to take care of these mess. Overall: If it was not for the popcorn chicken, this would have been a 1 STAR experience! I hope that this place will get better over time. read more

I think my boyfriend and I are addicted to bubble tea. Haha we have been here for three days straight! This is not normal. amazing!! We got the honey drew with milk and the black thingy (tapioca). I also tried the coconut slushy and a green slushy one (I cant remember the name of it). read more

I won't suggest going here unless you have money to waste. Their drinks are quite decent, despite the fact they attempt to scam you with the "medium size" actually being the small size and the "large size" being the medium size. Thus, there's no small size they sell. One of their drinks is legit $3.75 (medium) for milk + red bean + tapioca. Yup. Not to forget when I was ordering, it was difficult communicating with the staff members (I don't think they're fluent in English). Once when I came here, a fight broke down between two customers and none of the staff members bothered to break them up. They just watched and went along with their day. Leaving these two customers shouting at the top of their lungs. Moving onto the food, I really like the tempura and takoyaki. I don't know if it's just not to my taste or what but the popcorn chicken is weird. And for the takoyaki, is the stringy things they put on top of them suppose to move? The environment here is quite pleasant and beautiful despite the loud sound the machines make. I definitely suggest them to make some renovations (more space, less noise). Overall, bring your money! A lot, and don't think you'll be saving here. However, ask for the rewards cards (7 drinks for one free drink, excluding slush) and their designs on the drinks are cute. read more

Popcorn chicken always on point. If you're hungry and just want a snack go to vivi and get some popcorn chicken I promise you won't be disappointed. Now I love bubble tea. I can call myself an bubble tea expert. The bubbles are always on point. it's chewy and soft ! Just the way how tapioca/bubbles/boba are suppose to be. A love of people don't know but you can adjust the sugar and ice level just so you know before you complain about the fact that their drinks are too sweet. The owner and the employees are super friendly and sweet ! read more

The bubble tea is not the worth. It has a bad taste. Snacks tasted different than chinatown. Would never go again. Staffs were talking loudly while others are trying to relax but it won't matter anyways since the stuffs weren't good. read more

A quiet yet vibrant bubble tea store for all ages. I came here the other day for a snack and was very pleased with my orders. I ordered a mango tea, milk tea with bubbles, fried chicken wings and popcorn chicken. The wait was just right and the orders came out together. The chicken was made on the spot and the spices were just right. Overall, super pleased with my orders and the service was great. Great place to study with friends. Pretty happy a Vivis opened up on Bay Parkway since its close by to my boyfriends house. My favorites from there is their mango slush, and of course, their popcorn chicken in garlic. I've ordered from here about 3 times and its tasted really good every time. The chicken is crispy and has a lot of flavor which I like. The mango slush drink is really refreshing and has the right amount of sweetness for me. Definitely a good choice on a hot summer day. read more

Vivi's Bubble Tea is generally pretty good. I am not sure if this was a single bad experience, or if the two girls up front were just new staff with no customer service experience. I ordered 5 drinks and a few snack items. Upon ordering, I simply asked the staff if there was additional sugar added to the honey jasmine tea, a simple "no" would have suffice, instead the girl thought it was necessary to state "it says honey, there is no sugar," I ignore this. Everything came out correct except for one drink. I asked one of the girls if they could change the drink as this wasn't the correct order. Immediately the cashier walked over, assigning blame, stating that she put in the order correctly and stated there were no refunds. The two girls up front walked to the other side and thought it was okay to talk about us in Cantonese, expecting me to not understand the language. This was definitely not okay. Additionally, it was not rocket science to change/fix a single drink. Most importantly! The drinks were not made correctly! The taro slush was awful, the ice and taro liquid was completely separated! This never happened before. read more

Finally a bubble tea place in this part of the hood!!! Minus points for running out or 1 - herb jelly snack and 2 - popcorn chicken ... must be because it was grand opening ... They were having a 50% off for 3 types of drinks I had the roast milk tea with herbal jelly (which was 1.50 after 50% off) ... but hmm why didn't she give me the herbal jelly? O well can't complain, it was 1.50 after all =P Thoughts: - roast milk tea - interesting, definitely never had something like it, will definitely get it again =) - ooo they have snacks! - can't wait to try them next time (which include fries, takoyaki, herb jelly, popcorn chicken, and a few other options i can't recall) - decor - simple, it has seats ... yey! and a huge teddy bear by the window! - and yey for also offering the different amounts of sugars in your drinks (if you don't ask for it, you will get 100% sugar; you can get less sugar by asking for 70%, 50%, 30%, or 0% sugar ... i always prefer 30% ^^) - lastly thank goodness for having different flavors and types of drinks, so more options to choose from ... woo hoo!! read more

Finally a bubble tea place in the area. Lovely service. The girls always greet you when you come in and they are super sweet and nice. The area gets crowded sometimes depending when you're visiting. Not really a good place to sit down and work at times. The drinks are decent and the popcorn chicken too. Some snacks are a little overpriced but I never order those. This store makes everything convenient then having to travel to 8th ave or Chinatown for some Bubble Tea. read more

I'm super happy to have a Vivi's near me. Now I can eat their popcorn chicken as often as I want :) I have two nearly filled stamp cards, just because I keep misplacing them! I think I tried every flavor of chicken within two week's time. It's always crunchy and popping with flavor. Much love! I especially love the garlic chicken, although my breath doesn't feel the same. The only flavor I'm not in love with is the curry chicken, mainly because the spice is too subtle for my liking. The cashiers are always friendly and patient so that's definitely a plus too! read more

I have been a huge lover of ViVi for a long time now and I always come back to them every time I come to the city. They have the most delicious peach bubble tea in the city. It is a close race with quickly, but ViVi pulls ahead. I will say I was slightly disappointed with this location. My wife's grapefruit drink had a ton of pulp in it. My peach drink had zero pulp in it. The pulp is what attracted me to this drink in the first place. While it could be the luck of the draw, I didn't even find a single strand of pulp fruit in my drink. This makes me wonder if they don't have any in the peach anymore. If this is the case, I don't believe ViVi will be my top rated anymore. Only time will tell though. If this ends up being true, I will update this review with the amended score and recommendation. In the meantime, the grapefruit is super on point! read more

I love the atmosphere here! I love Vivi Bubble Tea so I'm very happy that they opened a store near me!

I have gone to this adorable little place for a couple of months now and I really like it. Just like any other bubble tea place they have many different flavors and varieties to choose from as well as unusually cool snacks like popcorn chicken! I admire the interior, it's very warm and relaxing. The only pet peeve I have is that it's just a little more pricy than some of the other bubble tea places I've been to. read more

First time I stepped foot in there I ordered a grapefruit yakult for myself and a peach ice jelly for my friend. I accidentally drank the peach ice jelly but holy, it was so good! I of course can't tell if they used artificial or real peaches but it tasted so refreshing that I didn't miss my usual grapefruit, too much anyway. Service was quick and the cashier girl didn't rush me. Place was clean and spacious. Second time I stepped foot in there there was a BOGO special going on ! So naturally I geared towards that... It was milk tea w/ tapioca, jelly and pudding. And I remember I had a stamp card thing from last time but the lady so nicely explained to me that it wouldn't work for this special-- Of course I'm always tryna get more bang for my buck but oh well! Super understandable. She gave lots of bubbles, more than I like (but I don't like tapioca THATTT much anyway!) and the jelly/pudding too! When she was done with mine she packaged everything so nicely and didn't rush to finish up her work and soo nicely asked her customer to wait a moment.. So when she was done packing she even said don't forget your napkins! Lol I just had to tell her "omg you're so nice!" Because she is just way too sweet.. Lol and she said it back to me but whatever... I think she was the boss lady so... She is the main reason for the 5 stars! Also have to say the second time I came in most of the seats were full but it still wasn't dirty and I'm so glad this crowd wasn't rowdy. read more

I've been to vivi a few times this summer. They have a nice variety of fruity drinks/tea and the classic bubble tea flavors. They are always willing to make fair adjustments to your drink (mix/replace flavor and components). It's nice that they allow you to order drinks with more or less ice, bubble, or jelly. The people behind the counter are usually pleasant and patient with customers who take a while to order (like my very indecisive baby brother). read more

Love this place for bubble tea! My favorite are the slushes and they have a decent selection of these as well as all varieties of bubble tea. I always get the passion fruit slush with bubbles. The only thing I wish they had were the popping bubbles but it still has great flavor. They also have snacks here but I've never tried any of the food items. Only cash is accepted, no cards! read more

YESS! Finally a legit bubble tea spot opens up near my house. They really couldn't have picked a better place to open up, honestly. I knew my area was lacking a drink spot and I'm happy this joint popped up. I remember 4 years ago going to the original vivi in chinatown and getting a dose of their lovely takoyaki and popcorn chicken. I fell in love with them cause of their cute little snacks and decent bubble tea. This joint is another lovely addition to the neighborhood, not a new concept but it's a solid one. Welcome to my hood vivi! read more

My hubby found this place for me because I was missing my drinks from Tapioca Express and Tea Station out in my home town San Diego. All in all it's fairly decent.. I usually get the almond milk tea with pudding and egg rolls.. He always gets the honey green tea with boba.. I tried the salt pepper chicken pieces and didn't care for it.. Doesn't compare to the chicken bites from my two places I'm familiar with back home.. It's a clean place though and the drink menu has good selections.. For now it's my go to place because I like the almond milk tea. read more

I'm so glad a bubble tea place finally opened up on Bay Parkway. I was born and raised in this area and getting bubble tea from nearby bakeries was just not the same. I hate having to make a stop in Chinatown just to grab bubble tea. Now, when I'm getting off the N train I can quickly stop be before going home. I also love the takoyaki. I know it's far from what a legit takoyaki is but there aren't any snacks of those sorts in the neighborhood so this is a plus! read more
