Ordered the Oreo Creme Latte and for snacks got the Mozzarella sticks and Sweet potatoes fries to try. Wait wasn't too long and the staff was pretty friendly. Got my purchase and decided to eat-in. The Oreo cream drink was a bit too creamy for me, and not enough oreo at all. The Mozz sticks and fries came out piping hot- but very salty and burnt. I have thought about returning the salty-burnt mozz sticks back to the clerk, but I did not. Instead I ate about a few pieces of it and trashed the rest. Pretty good experience at this location (honestly, when you're getting food - always pre-order because the wait can be very long... short staffed and only 1 individual works on the food). The ladies are quite efficient, can handle large orders and equipped to handle long lines as well - however - I do wish they had more help at times, so the wait can be shorten. Weekdays are much quicker as opposed to weekends... and timing is everything. I love their fruit teas and yakult drinks! Not a fan of their milkteas... there's a flavor in there that just doesn't sit well with me. I got my drink instantly and after waiting for like 20 minutes, I asked about my snack, showing them my receipt. The cashier blankly looked at me and went to make my order. POST QUARANTINE: SEPT 2020 New hours are Monday through Thursday from 11:30 am to 7:30 pm. Friday and Saturday hours are 11 am to 8 pm. No delivery, just take out. Parking on Bay parkway and the surrounding side streets is a nightmare. Before pandemic and after. You've got metered parking which will your best bet at finding a spot but good luck anyhow. The girls at this location are very indifferent. Always have been. Other Vivi locations are warmer or at least appear more approachable. For this reason I've docked a star. And before anybody comes at me to take it easy with service workers, I'm no stranger to customer service jobs, so I get the droll of having to fake nice for 8 hours a day, but damn, not a single time in the last two years that I stop by this place have I received a single attempt to be friendly. So that's a bit disappointing for my experience. In fairness, their drinks and food are always on point. No issues with their quality of food much like their other sister locations. So that's a great sign of consistency across the franchises. They also have this rewards system, where you punch in your number and get texted discounts. Nothing crazy, usually only a dollar or two off of your next drink order, but it's still nice if you frequent the place. I think this location is the only one that offers that sign up mobile deal though. Overall, I love the Vivi franchise, I always get a taro slush and not a single location has failed me yet. Due to the lack of friendly service and unfortunate location for drivers like myself, I'm not a huge fan o this location. I highly recommend Vivi cafes, and will always drop by in here to get my fix, but given the chance I'd head over to the Ave U location instead. read more

This was my first time going to this Vivi bubble tea spot in Bay Pkwy and the customer service there is just horrendous. When I went in to order my drinks and food, the cashier was speaking so low I can barely hear her. Because of that a mistake happened and they made the wrong drink for me. A simple solution would be to take back the wrong drink and replace it with the correct one. Instead of doing that, the two girls working there decided to argue with me basically trying to put the blame on me. After our argument, they finally decided to replace the drink, but during the process they kept on badmouthing me (loud enough for me and my friends to hear) and giving a lot of attitude. In the end, the drink was even tossed to me. The two girls working there are highly unprofessional. I was being polite to them when I informed them that they made a mistake, instead they became confrontational and started an argument with me. This type of customer service is unacceptable and management should provide some customer service training for these staff. read more

This time, we only ordered one drink: a 3Q Milk Tea. However, we have also tried a selection of other drinks, including Milk Black Tea, Taro Tea, Thai Milk Tea, Passion Fruit QQ Tea, Peach Oolong, and Blue Galaxy. That said, the 3Q Milk Tea is my go-to drink because it features tapioca, grass jelly, and pudding. I recommend 50% sugar because the pudding already adds some sweetness to the drink. If you want a small snack to go with your drink, their popcorn chicken is a really good and shareable option. Garlic and curry are my favorite flavors. They're bubble tea is alright, but nothing special. As for appetizers, I am a huge fan of their pepper salt popcorn chicken and their fried tempura, especially because their portioning is really big for something that costs around $4. For the bubble teas, I enjoy their thai tea and oreo crème brûlée. The crème brûlée is essentially milk tea with a creamy twist to it and it also ends up looking really aesthetic for the foodies out there! Service: It could be better, but their welcome is great they greet each and every customer that walks in. They also have a wonderful rewards system that saves you quite a bit of money. All you need is to enter in your phone number each time you order. I would give it three stars, but the environment there really puts the place together. The popcorn chicken, it's actually 鹽酥雞, which is a chicken bites with Taiwanese spiced salt. I had ordered one in the store, finished it, and ordered another one to take out. They are fresh and crunchy, the spices are on point, don't have to dip any sauce, just be caution of its temperature. The takoyaki is the reason why I took one star off. There were too much powder in them, not enough ingredients in them. Overall it's a good place to get yourself a snack and drink, or meet with your friends. It is a blessing to have Vivi Bubble Tea in the Bay Parkway area. Vivi offers a wide range of bubble teas & appetizers (popcorn chicken, takoyaki, bbq pork sausage skewer, fried tempura, herb jelly). The staff is friendly, and the decor is very kawaii. This would be a great place to sit, drink bubble tea, and catch up with friends. The bubble tea comes in two sizes (medium or large). My sister & I ordered 2 large milk tea bubble tea with grass jelly. To our surprise, the beverages were very watered down with all that ice in it. Tried the medium size yesterday, and it tasted better (less diluted). Their popcorn chickens (taiwanese styled) were delicious. **They open Monday to Sunday 10:30 am to 9 pm. **If you want peace & quiet, and a table to sit, DO NOT go there Monday to Friday from 3 to 4:30 pm. That time is probably their busiest since the youngsters get off school and get snacks here. I'm a huge fan of this place! I wish they opened sooner on Bay Parkway! Would've been an awesome pick-me-up when I used to work across the street. I always get my usual when i'm here (passionfruit green tea and garlic popcorn chicken) and they never disappoint. Haven't really tried the other stuff on the menu but will probably get around to it. I didn't want to complain because I usually get good drinks but today I had the worst customer service and worst drink of all. And she didn't even make it right or correctly from the label. I wanted to order a large taro with pudding. If you look at the label it writes taro with bubble and pudding. As you can see from the picture, it doesn't even have pudding and that was all I wanted. I've tried a variety of items off their menu (bubble milk black tea, bubble milk green tea, taro milk, whatever moo milk, passionfruit, red bean and kumquat lemon slushes, coconut milk tea, ginger milk tea, etc. etc.) Of all of them, I've come to realize I've probably been the most satisfied with their good old $3 bubble milk black tea. Except I'm a glutton for new options and will probably likely definitely be tempted to try yet another different drink next time I swing by. My least favorite of the ones I've tried would be the moo milk - I should've probably researched this more before I ordered it off their top favorite listing, not realizing it was literally a $3.50 lactaid milk dressed up in a nice cup with whatever "red, black, or yellow" toppings dropped in. What I appreciate about ViVi are their options to choose the sweetness and ice levels, tailoring your drink to your own taste. They also offer loyalty stamp cards if you ask them, which gives you a free drink worth $3 after you buy 6 drinks at this location. The decor is cute, a place you can try to grab a seat when it's not too busy to enjoy your drinks and free wifi. They're usually pretty busy especially around after school times and the staff can sometimes seem overwhelmed with keeping up with clearing tables and overfilled trash container. Vivi bubble tea is one of my favorite bubble tea places and I'm glad that they opened one in this neighborhood. This neighborhood was in need of a bubble tea place since it had none. I've been to Vivi's in several locations and this location is the most spacious. There are quite a few tables. The other locations I been to didn't even have tables. So it's a good place to sit down for some drinks and snacks. This places sells the same snacks like their other locations and I totally recommend their snacks. They are very tasty. Of course the main focus are their drinks, which are awesome too. I usually get the regular bubble tea with milk ($3.00 medium size) or the 3Q milk tea ($3.50 medium size). The 3Q milk tea has pudding, herbal jelly, and tapioca. It goes great together. They also have a stamp card where you buy 6 drinks and get the 7th drink free. You get only get it stamp and use it at this location though. read more

I asked for no ice, less bubbles, and 70% sugar in English, and heard her whisper to the girl making the drink to substitute the remaining space with water in Cantonese. Shouldn't you be filling it with milk tea instead? Besides this, there ended up still being some ice probably because the cashier wasn't fluent in English. In comparison to KFT, Vivi has better food options & this particular location has a stampcard that gives you 7th drink free. You can redeem ONLY at this location. Only bubble tea shop on bay parkway that is not on 86th street. Living in bensonhurst I was always wanted a bubble tea shop that was walking distance and this was no disappointment. The ambiance is casual and is great for a hot summers day. The place has free wifi and seating for customers. Their large slush drink costs $4.25 and I always get the honeydew slush with tapioca. I ordered a warm kumquat tea with a side of herbal jelly (warm) and popcorn chicken. The lady working there was really sweet. Unlike other to-go milk tea spots, she noticed that we took a seat and she brought us our drinks. However, the teas was a tad too sweet. This is not her fault though since we did not specify less sugar (but we won't forget next time). The herbal jelly was also more lukewarm than warm and the popcorn chicken was a bit on the salty side. If it wasn't for the free wifi and outlets, I probably won't be coming back here. However, it is pretty hard to find a study spot in this neighborhood and thus, I see myself returning here. ViVi Bubble Tea is a much welcomed and great addition to the neighborhood. Like their other locations throughout the city, they also serve snacks such as french fries, popcorn chicken in various flavors, and takoyaki. Recently they've added desserts such as tiramisu, cakes, and macarons. This is one of the more spacious locations with several tables and a bar for seating. There are also outlets near each of the larger tables if you need to charge your phone but good luck getting a spot once school lets out! It's a popular hang out for kids after school, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. The staff here are very friendly. They do their best to greet you when you arrive and the drinks are all very well made. I've never had a taro milk tea that tasted powdery or a green apple green tea that was too sweet. They never skimp out on the tapioca or pudding or whatever topping you want in your drink either. The snacks are made to order so there is a bit of a wait. The garlic popcorn chicken is delicious but the quality of the takoyaki has gone down. It feels like ViVi has cheapened despite it's popularity and growing business. I don't expect Otafuku grade takoyaki but when you have fliers around the store that explicitly explain takoyaki is fried octopus balls, you'd expect at least one piece of octopus in the ball. Lately all I've been getting is fried dough with pieces of corn, which is not usually found in takoyaki. Another reason why I say ViVi has cheapened is the change in their reward card. Vivi used to offer a reward card that was redeemable for a free medium sized drink when you collect 6 stamps. Now instead of a free drink, the reward card becomes a raffle after your 6th stamp and you can enter for a chance to win an iPad or Polaroid Camera. It also seems like this raffle has been going on for a couple of months now so who knows if it is legit. I'd rather have a free drink than a chance to win an iPad. There are usually two staff members in the front that take your order and prepare your drinks and someone in the back that prepares all the snack orders. Most of the time they appear to be understaffed now because of their popularity. I've once waited 20 minutes for my drink because a large group placed orders for all hot drinks right before me and as well as two other customers that placed their orders after I did. The baristas completed all the hot drinks before getting to my one cold drink. While I understand that they wanted to push everything out efficiently, a 20 minute wait for a medium 3Q bubble milk tea drink would annoy anyone. Vivi needs to invest in more staff, more machines (as the baristas can only mix two drinks at a time and seal one drink at a time), and not try to cut corners. The drinks are good, the staff is friendly but unless these changes are made it may not be worth the wait. read more

The service is friendly and the interior is really cute and comfy! I love how they change the decor based on seasons/holidays. The prices aren't exactly cheap but nothing unreasonable. I came back again and tried the Red Moo Milk which comes with red bean and bubbles. I was a little disappointed since I wasn't able to adjust the sweetness, it only comes with milk and the red bean was already sweetened. As I expected it was way too sweet. I definitely will not be ordering that again. I also had a slice of the tiramisu cake. WARNING: no one should order this! It was rock hard. The interior of the slice was slightly softer, but it tasted like the cake had been sitting there for days. The top and sides of it was actually chewy.. which is definitely not how any cake should taste. A Vivi in brooklyn! Located just a few blocks from my friends house. So happy there's a bubble tea and crack chicken spot close to his home. Their popcorn chicken is the dopest fried balls of chicken you would ever have. My go to flavors are basil, pepper salt, and garlic. The girls that work there are extremely nice and the place seems pretty clean and well kept. Their store closes at 10pm and kitchen is a little slower than the chinatown store. Love this place! Fast service, really good fresh bubble tea (love the flavored tea selection) and really nice cashiers. For the most part they are bi/trilingual (mando, canto and english take your pick). It's around $3 for a boba tea medium and. $4 for large, but the topping comes with it. :) Their specials are 50c more for both sizes, but I think you get 2-3 toppings along with it, so it's kind of a deal. I've seen this particular chain of stores all around NYC, so I decided to finally try it for myself. It's pretty cutesy, both with the brand logo and the interior design. Their mascot (or what I assume to be their mascot) reminds me a lot of Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Gudetama. The girl that took my order down seemed very bored and distracted while talking to me. She seemed almost impatient to throw my food at me and have me leave when the store wasn't even that busy. Even though the employee was a little rude, I was in a rush and didn't want to make a fuss. While looking over their menu, I found it odd that Vivi served both sweet and savory items. Along with various teas and sweets were french fries, onion rings, and takoyaki. I didn't have the courage to order any savory things; Vivi's just looks like the type of establishment that gravitates toward more sweet edibles. I ordered a cheesecake for myself, a medium sized milk tea, and some macarons for my little sister, who has always wanted to try them. The cheesecake is light and fluffy, as expected, and has a light lemony zing. However, the crust is weirdly grey and crumbles very easily...I can't eat it at all. The tea came in a smaller container than expected, and there was a lot of ice in it. I didn't mind the ice too much, since the tea itself was quite strong and needed to be watered down a bit. I actually watched the employee make my drink from behind the counter, and she used Lactaid milk, which is actually great for me (and others who cannot digest lactose). It was good for what it was. I can't comment on the state of the boba, since I ordered my drink without any. Finally, the macarons. I ordered a couple so I could try one for myself and give the rest to my sister. The vanilla flavored one I tried was WAY too sweet for my liking, and tasted somewhat stale with a chewy consistency, like gun. Personally, I don't like it, but my sister ate hers in a heartbeat.
