I love floats. Had a great experience with VIVE in Old Town, Chicago. I was elated to find one in Denver and booked a last minute Float and VibroAcoustic session combo with VIVE Cherry Creek to treat a visiting Guest. Unfortunately, an art festival in the area made traffic and parking difficult and delayed our arrival by 15 minutes from the appointment start-time. While no fault to the studio for keeping to the schedule, we felt a little rushed at the end which felt odd as there was no one waiting after us. Pros: Premium facility. Exceptionally clean, spacious and private float studio. Friendly staff. Cons: Transactional experience. For $260 between two people, I would have appreciated a little more consideration. Instead, I was asked to limit my float to 30 minutes for the purchased 75 min float session and spent 15 minutes in the tea-room waiting for my guest to finish. As someone who likes to support local businesses, I would have loved to make VIVE my go-to places for friends and family. However, the inflexibility made the place tad pricer and less delightful than I would have liked. Perhaps future customers well have a better experience. read more

I absolutely love this place! I've been going to VIVE for float and treatments for almost a year, and I've tried every service. I really enjoy the floatation tanks for full expensive sensory relaxation. When I don't have time to get a full float experience, I especially enjoy the vibroacoustic bed. The Quiet Center is heaven on earth. Today was my second time trying the cryotherapy chamber, which is challenging, yet yields incredible pain management results. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful, and the facilities are overall luxurious and posh. I recommend VIVE to anyone looking to treat themselves to top notch, high end self care. read more

Take the time to read through negative reviews. This place is okay until something goes wrong. Vive is short-staffed. There was no one there to greet us so we waited for an awkwardly long time and consoled another customer who walked in and was desperate to leave. We came for cryotherapy and were surprised to find the machine is in what I jokingly, but seriously, described as a "kill room" on the ride home. The room features a stained, bare concrete floor (not decorative, intentional staining) and an Ikea chair. 8-foot dropped ceilings with a A/C vent blasting in cold air. Vive provides you with used socks for booties and some basic Amazon gloves and plastic sandals. You're told to step in after a basic introduction. The machine malfunctioned and went directly into heat mode. We laughed it off, and luckily, no injuries. It was, however, subtly disturbing. An 'emperor has no clothes' moment, if you will. This is, in fact, just a machine that someone bought and put into this back room. Unfortunately, it's a large and no doubt, costly machine, which most of us will pass on keeping in the garage. Immediately after the cold therapy, my fingers and toes were in extreme pain. I used the quiet room to catch my breath but never saw the attendant again to ask whether my pain was a normal side effect. The pain has continued and I regret going. Certainly, we shall not be returning nor recommending this 'establishment' at our country club. read more

This was our first time ever trying a Float session. We arrived and were greeted by a very pleasant and knowledgeable staff member. She walked us thru the entire experience and gave us step by step instructions in the float room. This was very similar to the video we watched (which they require and it really was quite helpful) but always good to have a reminder right before the experience. The float room, shower, and float pod was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The float itself was unlike anything you've ever experienced in such an amazing way. The only comment I have for improvement is that we were not given robes, which was SO incredibly odd. In fact, isn't that just table stakes for a spa experience? When I asked for one, I was told that they are not included, that I "should have" asked for one when I booked or upon arrival. First of all, the video we were told to watch ahead of time clearly implied a robe was included. I could find nothing in my confirmation emails or on the website that says "no robe included unless you ask for one." Second, we were also not given lockers. So we had to change, redress in the same room with our hot/wet shower and float pod. I would have absolutely given 5 stars had it not been for the oddity of the "no robe/no locker" thing. read more

I've been so intrigued by the idea of a float spa for some time now, but the coffin looking contraptions I typically see are just a tiny bit claustrophobic scary. Enter the bf's brilliant idea to celebrate Valentine's Day with a nice salt float and VIVE Float Studio's float rooms. Reservations were immediately made. I have to say I was a bit nervous not really knowing what to expect coming in. We watched the studio's mandatory video (along with a handful of youtube ones) the night before and still the experience itself is nothing like you expect. The studio itself smells and looks like a spa - calming scents, sounds, sights. You check in, switch out your shoes with some flip flops and are ushered into your own private float room complete with a little seating area and a shower. Inside the float room, there's about 10 inches of water and 1,000 lbs of salt which means no float experience necessary, this much salt will absolutely do it all for you. You have control over the different colored lights inside your float room and there are a couple of music options depending on your preference. I went with the 10 minute fade in and 10 minute fade out of the music which was perfect for me. I definitely wanted to try complete sensory deprivation with no sounds and no lights to really make the most of it. A mandatory 5 minute shower pre-float and a couple of very good ear plugs later and I was getting my float on. I was pretty fidgety for the first few minutes, mainly trying to get comfortable and trying to focus on my breathing. After a while though I really felt myself let go just a little bit a few minutes at a time. I cannot tell you how long it's been since I have completely disconnected (from my phone, from the tv, from the computer, from other people), if ever?? Other than in my sleep, I truly am tethered to some kind of mental stimulus 24/7. It's silly really and a dark and quiet room will really put this into perspective. My brain went everywhere and then nowhere, and after a while, even my breathing, the only sound left, slowly slipped away from me. A little trippy and a lot meditative, 60 minutes later, I walked out of my float completely relaxed. A thorough post-float shower to get every inch of salt off followed by a nice cup of tea in the quiet room topped this amazing experience out for me. Definitely something I highly recommend doing at least once - I hear everyone's experience will be different. VIVE was the perfect clean, calming place for my first float and I would 100% do it again. The one negative I do have to say about my experience was that I believe we may have been overcharged. The bf paid before I even left the changing area, so I'm not 100% sure of the fees. I do know they had a Valentine's Day special (2 for $120 for first-time floaters) plus a box of cookies. I know he paid more than $120 which may or may not have been because of taxes? But for sure we didn't get any cookies. Minor, I know and the bf urged me not to worry about bringing this up to them, so I didn't. Just saying, make sure you check their specials before you go and the receipt after you pay. read more

This was my first float experience! What a great one. I was not keen on putting myself inside of a closed off the claustrophobic bubble, so the facilities here was intriguing. Each room has its own shower and a wide open float room where you have a door and have plenty of room above you to avoid any feelings of claustrophobia. Once you check in, there is a locker room to prepare of get ready once your session is done. There is also a relaxation room that has tea and water, plus a bunch of recliners that you can dose off in after your session. There is a fireplace in here and lovely music that puts you right at ease. I loved this part and made the whole experience feel more like a spa. Once entering the float room, you will shower with PH balancing products provided by the facility. Then you will enter your float tank. You can change the music and its strength as well as the lighting. There are different colored lights or you can turn them off altogether. Each session is 60 minutes. This provides lots of time to relax and disengage. Giving the client a full sensory deprivation experience. It was hard for me to relax at first, and reminded me of how hard it is to meditate. But ultimately gave me the relaxation I needed. After the session, you show again and can get ready, or hang out in the relaxation room. They have much more than just float as well. You can do cryotherapy, there are salt rooms that can be great for those with eczema, and my favorite vibrating water bed. (I don't know what its called, but I loved it). I highly recommend this spot for relaxation and treating yourself. read more

I spent an afternoon there as the friendly and hospitable Terra guided me through my first experiences with cryo, vibroacoustic, and float. I loved each modality for different reasons, and by the time I left, my body and mind felt much lighter and looser. The location is clean, beautifully laid out, and decorated for optimal relaxation. I enjoyed my first float here a few weeks ago, and I wish I could go back! I love the privacy of the pods, which were also surprisingly spacious. I was able to shower comfortably and get dressed enough to be presentable. We also enjoyed the infrared sauna. Best part of the whole day was that we didn't feel rushed and could relax and unwind in the Quiet Room without anyone rushing us out of the building. 100% recommend! read more

I was really hoping to love floating at VIVE today. I scheduled my first visit and after a few minutes in the float tank, I found myself having an extreme reaction to the salt water. I stayed in for 5 minutes, hoping it would subside, but it did not, so I got out, showered, and dried my hair. The front desk staff was very nice and explained to me that I could try some petroleum jelly over the sensitive area, but I had already dried my hair. I wish someone had mentioned this possible solution prior to floating -- they certainly mentioned almost every other possible "issue." No one offered me the option to come back and try it again. So I spent $60 for 2 cups of tea in the "Quiet Room" and unfortunately I don't consider this much value. read more

This place is top of the line. I work at a float center so I am pretty picky, and VIVE exceeded all expectations. Everything, seriously everything, was perfect. The attention to detail, luxurious amenities (best soaps I've used in a float center - and they sell them too), calm and friendly staff, the showers and towels, the tank itself... I couldn't have asked for a better experience. My favorite part by far was the post float lounge. So calming, the most comfortable chairs, and I loved the postcards that they mail out for you. There are lots of options to float in Denver, and I recommend floating to everyone in general, but if you get a chance to go to VIVE - you won't regret it. read more

Daughter plays softball and was in town for a tournament. She was looking for a way to get some recovery and Cryo was recommended to us. This place is amazing for athletes. She loved the Cryo Therapy. We were in a bit of a rush so didn't get to try the float or experience the relaxation room but they looked amazing. The entire vibe at Vive is so laid back and calm, beautiful spa decor, completely relaxing and inviting. Highly recommend!!! read more

HORRIBLE!!! Do NOT go here. We booked a 45 minute infrared sauna session my boyfriend and I did not break a single sweat not ONE drop. The sauna was only set at 150 F and was very low. We've done infrared sauna all over the world many times and this has never happened. We asked them to higher the temperature and they did not they said this was the highest. We also asked them for the WiFi and they kept giving us the wrong password, wasting our time and never getting the password right after asking 5 times. When we expressed our concerns at the end not only did they not offer a refund but offered nothing what so ever except for trying to convince us that this was normal not to sweat when it is in fact NOT normal. Horrible customer service and a horrible place. Waste of time and complete THIEVES!!!! read more

This spa is amazing, from the cleanliness to the customer service. I wouldn't recommend any other place to float. It is the best place to go if you are looking to unwind and meditate or even just a few minutes of oxygen. I hope they get the 5 stars they are deserving of. read more

I want to thank VIVE for aiding me in my recovery from a traumatic brain injury I suffered earlier in the summer. Research opened my eyes to floating and vibration acoustic therapy as methods for a faster healing process, and VIVE offered not only the spaces in which to experience these trippy, meditative sessions, but the staff has been incredibly supportive as well as I've gotten noticeably better over the past several weeks. I'm a believer in these therapies and will continue to use my membership at VIVE for the rest of my recovery and beyond. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the space is welcoming and spa-like, a nice bonus on top of the already amazing offerings. I would recommend this studio to anyone! read more

I treated my little sister to a float, and she was really nervous. The music didn't work in either of our tanks and there was nothing done to correct the negative experience. This was a first class experience in a first class establishment with a first class staff. Loved the place. Everything is neat, clean and modern. Shelby was taking care of my appointment. It was my first time. She called me ahead of the appointment with instructions how to find them, where to park and what to expect since I am out of area. When I arrived, Shelby explained everything and I felt well prepared for the therapies. Tried cryogenic tank and HALO therapy. In between sessions I waited in their lounge. Pleasant fragrances, soft music, comfortable furniture and an interesting decoration. I'll try their floating tank and acoustic or vibration therapy (not sure of the name). Only downside is they do not accept the tips. Many of you would say that this is not a downside really. Maybe not, but when I receive an exceptional service I do not mind tipping as a sign of my appreciation. When my tip is refused because of some silly rules I feel like my offer is disrespected. Not by the staff but by the company. Note to the manager/owner: please consider changing this policy. It does not make sense. Your staff is doing great and if the tips are not expected, I would support that decision. However if they are offered, it is unusual to refuse them. read more
