The facility was super clean and welcoming. I enjoyed the sauna and steam room as well as the cold plunge. The soaking tubs were lukewarm at best unfortunately I wish they were hotter. The facility itself was super nice looking and upscale.

Absolutely incredible! I am beyond thrilled we have an authentic Nordic spa in Denver. Upon entering, I was greeted by a super kind lady who gave me a run down of the facilities. You get a pair of sandals included the first time, but make sure you either purchase a pair or bring your own going forward. The sauna is spacious and has three levels for seating, which is so nice. There are cute timers on the wall you can flip to keep an eye on the progress in your session. The steam room was so amazing. It was infused with eucalyptus and had so much active steam which was so nice. The cold plunges were indeed cold, and there was never a shortage of them if you did want to take part in that. The thermal soak was super hot and I actually had to wait for it to cool a bit. After your session, there are showers with amenities for refreshing. There are also blow dryers which is really nice! Bring your own hairbrush. I can't wait to book my next session here and am already looking forward to bringing my friends from out of town as well. Thanks so much for a great experience.

What a great time! Finally Denver has a real Spa and Sauna experience. When I first saw the instagram ads for ROK SPAS and saw that their sauna is actually a Real sauna that isn't the size of a cubicle but it's in fact a massive space that can fit a small school bus and that the heat source was actually true radiant heat how nordic sauna is meant to be and has been for hundreds of years, I was immediately sold. (I am Not a fan of the claustrophobic red light therapy sauna booths) I've now been there twice and can confidently say that I am gonna be a member for as long as I live in the area. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Gave me a helpful Run down of all the amenities and their suggestions on which order to use them in. I forgot sandals my first time, as no shoes are allowed inside for hygiene purposes (which I totally appreciate) and staff had pairs of ultra plush sandals for rent at $4 or purchase for $12. I bought two pairs, one for me and one for gf! Too good of deal to pass as the sandals are quite comfy. Towels were super soft. Steam room was full of steam the entire time I was there, cleared up my allergies which I needed. Cold plunges were at 48 degrees which is plenty cold and enough to get all health benefits within 3 minutes. Slept great those two nights btw. The esthetics of the place were on point. My pictures won't do it justice. I got the monthly membership which If you intend to go more then once a week its a no brainer and you can't put a price on your health anyways. Thank you ROK SPAS

Great spa. Always super friendly staff. Wish they had better lighting though. It's super bright for a spa in there for a spa.

A wonderful anniversary experience at Oakwell!…read more This was our first time coming to Oakwell - A friend recommended this experience when I was trying to decide what to gift my husband for our anniversary. Booking was easy and I opted to purchase some add ons for our anniversary. The staff were super friendly and walked us through what to expect from our experience. They provide insulated cups for the beer so it stays nice and cold! The room was equipped with a shower, sauna, and hot tub. The staff suggested a particular order of use and I'm glad we followed their advice as it felt like we had the perfect amount of time in each area of the room! We had so much fun that my husband gifted me another Oakwell experience as a Christmas present. We recently moved to the suburbs so we will be trying the suburban location next. We can't wait!

Celebrated my birthday here and it was a wonderful experience! We had a group of 4 so we booked the…read moregarage party, which is 2 private adjoining rooms that they open a half-wall garage door in between. My best friend and her hubs were in one room and we were in the other with our own tubs. They ask you to get there at least 30 mins before your appointment to have you select which herb bundle you want for your soak (we went with the energizing IPA which was complimentary as well as the Muscle Relaxing Lager that was a $10 add-on). They take you to the self-serve drink taps where you can sample their beer, wine, or spritzes. You're given your own insulated cup and you can choose your beverage before heading into the spa. We had the ADA room which was larger than the other and able to fit 4 of us in the sauna. They recommend 15 mins in the private sauna, a cold shower rinse, and then the remainder of the time in the tub. The tub starts draining 20 mins before your session is up to give you time to get out and shower. The jets are going the whole time so that pretty much muffles any exterior sound and we did have to raise our voices a bit to hear eachother from tub to tub, but it was great! The little details they've added really enhance the experience. It's a nice touch you can add a birthday or anniversary banner for $10. They give you sandals to wear in the spa so you don't need to bring your own. I loved the little talking prompts all around the spa and in the sauna to strike up conversation. It actually brought our group closer and we learned things about eachother we didn't know before. They hang robes in your room so you can pop out of the tub and go into the lobby to fill your drink OR there's a call button in the room for one of the staff to come in and refill your drink for you. There is a lock on the door so when it's time to shower (which is completely open to the room) you can lock up and no one can come in. The showers have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We had our garage door closed for that so each couple had their privacy. They also have a communal room to blow dry your hair equipped with lotion, hair ties, deodorant, etc. After our soaking experience which was very relaxing, we sat in their cooling / quiet area to unwind. We decided to add on the 15 minute anti-gravity massage chairs for $20 and I'm so glad we did. The room was so relaxing with the sound of waterfalls and stars on the ceiling. Those chairs are legit. We all loved our massages. Paul was a rockstar and provided excellent service. He adjusted our chair settings and helped us with whatever we needed. It was a perfect way to start my birthday weekend. My only gripe is they add a 20% gratuity to your whole bill so it was pretty pricey (over $700 for the 4 of us). Wish there was an option to add on what you like or have it applied to a portion of the service, not the add-ons. But other than that, it was a wonderful, unique experience and someplace I'd return to.

They have single rooms, couple rooms, and two rooms with an share opened door so you can see your friend in the other room. The only thing we didn't like about this place, as well as their other studio in Boulder, is that they don't give you free bottle of water. They sell water instead. Why? Considering how much you'll be sweating in the sauna, the least they can do to enhance the experience is giving you water. Good thing we brought water with us so we wouldn't dried out!

With privacy in mind and a state of serenity (the lighting in the suite puts you in the mood!), the sessions can be enjoyed alone (great for solitude) or like us, get a suite with the tandem door open, we squeezed in a much needed gossip session while sweating away! The cooling, essential oil doused COLD towel (used at the end but given to you at the beginning) is the ultimate enjoyment! DON'T FORGET YOUR WATER. Or buy one from the studio, you want to stay hydrated. We booked a 40 minute session, going against the advice that 30 minutes are perfect for beginners - we had to call it quits at around 35, lol. We were started off at 140F. The pods remind me of wood fire pizza burners, haha. They can slide up and down and are lined with tons of towels, very hygienic. And I had no safety worries as all staff was wearing masks the entire time. Plus with the high temp I'd think all virus would be diminished. We started sweating buckets around 10 minutes in. It is beyond the most extreme cardio sesh you can think of. My friend said at the end that I was glowing, so I guess the detoxing worked! One advice would be to bring layers to change into in case you get so hot out of the session but it's cold outside of the studio. CYL has a lot of cute merchandise too and various packages and memberships, come check it out!
