At that point, the waitress told us there would be a $3 charge for the containers. We declined to pay for all three and instead offered to pay for one. The waitress and another employee insisted we should pay for all three, which made for an uncomfortable interaction. The biggest issue came when the bill arrived. My entrée was listed at $14 on the menu, but I was charged $18. When I asked to see the menu, I was asked why I wanted it. I pointed out that my meal was clearly listed at $14, but I was told the price could be increased. Charging more than the posted menu price without notifying customers beforehand is unacceptable. Between the unexpected charges and the way our concerns were handled, the overall experience was frustrating. We won't be returning.

I came in with a friend not knowing what to expect and was really blown away. You can't write a review without giving the artwork on the walls some attention. The paint is glowing in beautiful vibrant colors and the pictures are just gorgeous. It's a really cool vibe in here. Our waitress was really sweet, she was young and seemed to still be learning but she did a great job. My friend ordered sangria and it was a bit late coming to our table, I believe they were just making that night's batch. The more experienced waitress actually comped it for the wait, even though we didn't mind and didn't complain. I thought that was really nice of her, considering we were getting delicious fresh sangria! The food was AMAZING. I don't even remember what my friend got because I was all encompassed into my meal. She then starts in with the "why can't I be the owner", implying I'm sexist. The reason I know it isn't true because from prior experience, the owner was a man. So I'm done with this place. The food was just okay, the nickel and dime routine on customers isn't worth the bland Mexican food. If you're looking to have okay Mexican food with horrible service and attitude, then I guess this place is for you. As for me, I rather starve than eat from here again.
