We tried District Taco because it was on the Enkind app, where I had credit. Its similar to…read moreChipotle. I think that the menu is bigger, and the prices are a little higher. The higher prices seem to be reasonable because the portions are much bigger than Chipotle. I couldn't come close to finishing my meal. The food was quite good, although a little too salty. One of the best things versus Chipotle was that it was not packed, so don't need to wait too long for the food.

It was enough food for a dinner, so I brought the rest home since it was lunchtime. Nice open & spacious atmosphere in the dining area. Very clean with many regular tables and chairs and also high (bar height) tables & chairs spaced nicely. Also 2 counter style seating areas; 1 overlooks the street. Orders can be placed on a Kiosk computer or directly with an employee. A friendly and helpful female employee was patient with the many questions I had since this was my first time there. The food preparation area was efficient; the workers wore gloves. The food is delicious and there's quite a variety including protein foods, toppings and sides... see photos. Definitely recommend & I will be returning again! Note: For those with walkers or wheelchairs, there are 2 entrances ~ one with a nice long ramp & the other with stairs. Both open to a foyer. It would be a good idea for a person with a wheelchair or walker to be dropped off as soon as you pull into the driveway, rather than walk from the parking lot. I called in for a big party, and they did an excellent job with the table-setting & location. Secondly, the food: Their apps are absolute winners. Our table got the Bavarian Soft Pretzel ($12) and the 12-piece wings ($22). Both came out hot and full-of-flavor! Both were excellent with a cold beer. For my main, I actually got a special which was not on their main menu. It was a Fajita Burger served with (you guessed it...) fajita fries. I added jalapenos for an extra kick. It was very good, but the buns are quite thick, so I actually just ate it with the bottom bun intact. The burger patty itself is quite thick which I enjoyed in this current smash-burger phase our world is currently in. Don't sleep on a pub burger. For dessert, it was one of our friends birthday, and as you can see --- they decorated it nicely! Not "they", sorry, Sara - our waitress - did! She was such an awesome server, and communicated very well. Awesome experience + awesome setting + awesome food! Thanks Paragon for doing what you do!

From the outside, it didn't look like anything special or a place to rave about but I quickly learned why it was all the talk with them. Since it was a Saturday night, they had a nice crowd and the place itself had a feel of both a sports bar and a brew pub. The one side was more of a sports bar type of feel (or setup) and the other half had more of a brew pub type of feel. After looking at the menu, I decided to go with the healthier choice so I ordered the Drunken Parm Sandwich. I wish I took a picture of the sandwich when it came out because it looked very good and like it was made fresh. Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.

For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own. Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. Upon arrival at Taqueria La Casita, or "The Little House Taqueria," we were confronted outside by the neon signage reading "Tacos Open" and Mexican flags, among other pieces of colorful decor. Greeted by the staff inside an un-air-conditioned cozy dining room decked out in its Mexican splendor with 4 tables. In the back, a colorful menu with nearly a dozen different types of tacos and an array of other dishes written by hand. We opted for individual orders containing 4 tacos with Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, and Pork. While waiting, we couldn't help but notice the trompo--the spinning, shawarma-adjacent log of marinated pork used for Al Pastor, which translates to "in the style of the shepherd." Originating in Puebla, this came at the hands of Lebanese immigrants during the 1930s. The tortilla itself was freshly made, of the corn variety. They were stuffed to the brim with meat prepared in front of us and served with cucumbers and lime. Fresh condiments of diced onion, cilantro, and avocado were separated in their own container, and all were needed. Various sauces accompanied in small containers, such as green, which was jalapeño-based; the darker red salsa was smoky from dried and smoked chipotle chilis; and neon orange, which was a sauce made from chili de arbol and tomato. The guacamole was absolutely delicious along with the chips, and we couldn't get enough. The portion was a healthy size. The service was fast; Maribel was friendly and accommodating. Authentic, fresh, and affordable--we can recommend this place.

Typical "Mexican" restaurant interior with both high top seating & standard table seating. Staff were friendly and efficient, drinks were nice a strong. Food was good and this place could definitely be a local spot to go to on a whim. We had Quesadillas de Birria, Volcano Burrito-which they cut up and classify it as "sushi burritos," and Margaritas. It is important to note that the complimentary chips and salsa were good. Everything was good and I would suggest if someone was asking for something in the area, albeit I would run back here on a normal day. Nothing against the venue, please do not think that, it's just not my overall preferred type of food.
