I enjoy ordering from this place it is not even 5 min from my home in Cranston but I work at WIH in Providence and they deliver. Everyone is Friendly. I mostly get the chicken pesto wrap as it is my favorite, I also tried the Margarita pizza which was good. It is a nice small place. I never hear it loud in here. Actually I was looking for a delivery place and happened to stumble on Vivaldi's so I gave it a try. Well the delivery was probably an hour late but they showed up so I was happy, food! I know folks like their pizza a myriad of different ways but this pizza was absolutely the best I have had in years! There was plenty of toppings which were cut bigger than most restaurants and I couldn't have been more happy! I have to go back again to see if this was consistent or a one time rush... Best local pizza joint! I've been ordering from Vivaldi's for years and I love their pies. First off, their crust is light and fluffy, and not at all gummy or tough. It's also firm enough to hold up to pizzas with lots of toppings with no problem. The plain cheese pizza has just the right cheese to sauce ratio, the kind that Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, and Raphael would like. Vivaldi's special pizza is 10/10, as is the Florentine with its big scoops of ricotta... drool. I don't particularly like the blue cheese they sell (it's the tangy kind, I prefer the more savory kind) but the wings are tasty and crispy even when sauced up. Lastly, these guys are FAST. Every time I order from them it's super quick and their delivery guys are super friendly. Contrast that with a certain pizza place on the west end that makes you wait 90min for a single cheese pizza... All in all, Vivaldi's is my favorite spot in Edgewood for a good pizza. I've been a regular at this establishment for years, but I'm very disappointed. Yesterday I went to order a burger and brought it home only to realize it was raw, not just like pink in the middle that shit was squishy. I recooked it at home and that kinda helped but I should not be receiving undercooked food. I've loved the food here for years so it's really sad but I'm not getting anything from here again for a long while. Raw ground beef is one thing I got off with a mild stomach ache and wasted money, but what's next? What if it were chicken? The food here is great most of the time but I ain't gonna keep coming if my food is raw. This has happened a few times with undercooked or burnt pizza but I let it slide cause these events were during rush hours and at night, I thought "hell they're probably swamped and making some mistakes" but I won't let it go this time. No one was even in there the chefs spent half the time yapping about something or other. On the bright side it's a great spot for sketching interiors if you're more artistically inclined, a whole lot to draw in there. read more

Every time we have guests over, we *always* order from Vivaldi's. Their special pizza always gets devoured within minutes. As for my personal favorite, it's definitely their chicken alfredo! Most underrated pizza in RI in my opinion. I started getting pizza here about 5 years ago on the recommendation of someone who lived around the corner, and to this day, I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to get their pizza - large pepperoni all day. Obviously everyone has their preferences - but I think Vivaldis nails the firm but flexible thinnish crust with the best sauce and fresh toppings. Went with some friends and ordered a large pepperoni and pepper pizza, mozzarella sticks, regular fries, and 10 piece buffalo wings to eat in. I love Vivaldi's Pizza! Their fish & chips is delicious. Whatever they do, the fish is perfectly cooked with a nicely crisped batter that does not leave grease on the plate or taste greasy. Their fish is off the boat fresh, their fries are crispy on the outside and tender in the inside. Even their cole slaw is yummy. I have tried their Napoleon Pizza and Spinach Cheese stuffed bread as well. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. I've only been there about 3 times. Last Friday, I decided to try them for fish and chips. They really overcooked the batter. The fish itself was fine but who wants to eat burned batter? Also their homemade tarter sauce was not good. The other times I've been there was during bad snow storms when everything else was closed. So I live a block away so I ordered about every other week. The plain cheese pizza is solid and I'm happy every time we get it. Crunchy crust, well season sauce perfect amount of cheese, less greasy and a lighter pizza. They make my daughter a cheese burger with lettuce, tomato and ketchup. We order it on the hoagie roll instead of your basic hamburger bun. She doesn't eat buns but loves the roll. I appreciate the effort and attention to detail they give to our order. Hey guys! So this is actually my second time having Vivaldi's Pizza and can I just say WOW! The first time I had it I wasn't hungry much so I just ordered a salad and mozz sticks! Pretty basic things wouldn't you say? I didn't actually have their pizza! Tonight was a different story. I'm hungry and pregnant, and pregnant and hungry!! SO, I ordered myself more mozz sticks, A PIZZA, and some curly fries! MY GOD IS THIS PIZZA PHENOMENAL!!! It is truly so delicious and it just melts in your mouth. I'm not even sure if that's a good way to describe pizza but it's how I feel! Hahaha The flavors are magnificent, and the dough is excellent! I don't know how they do it in there without AC but whatever they are doing is working. They remember you, stop + make sure to chat + even remember what you like to order + just how you like it. Service like this is hard to come by. The food is delicious... sandwiches are yummie, pizzas are fantastic...a little pricey but sooo good + salads are GIANT. I am always greeted with a huge hello when I walk in!! There is little parking lot in front for quick drop ins--- you can also sit outside at the bistro chairs + tables outside (only seats 4). You can't go wrong here people. It is right in the middle of the neighborhood so if you live close by just take a walk! I have only had the calzones from here. To be honest I really have no interest in trying anything else. These are by far the best calzones I have had. The large is easily split between 2 people. The small is probably too large for most. The prices are extremely reasonable for the portion. My 2 favorites are the steak and the Italian combo. Great taste, full to the brim and a nice soft dough. I hate when places overcook calzones and the dough is hard and everything is oozing out. If you do like that then ask for it we'll done. read more

If you're jonesing for a delicious chef's salad with some phenomenal (homemade?) Italian dressing for less than $6, look no further than Vivaldi's. The very definition of a neighborhood joint, the small interior, which lacks AC in the summer and relies on an always-open door to keep the air moving inside, is not what you'd call inviting. Look past that, because this is takeout fare, all the way. Instead, focus on the quality of the service (prompt and accommodating) and the fresh, way-affordable food. The menu is mounted, old school style, over the counter and the offerings include salads, grinders and pizza. After a short wait, your order - and maybe, a quick kiss on the cheek - is delivered to you. While I've been to Vivaldi's numerous times, I have never veered away from the chef's salad. It's teeming with deli meats and cheese, and could easily comprise two meals if I could only learn to stop myself from inhaling it in total, in one sitting. Vivaldi's has a small, off street parking lot and there's also plenty of on street parking. There are a couple of outdoor tables - though again, I consider this place to be the antithesis of dining ambience. I can't imagine anyone opting to eat in, rather than take out, here (indeed, the only non-employee I've ever seen sitting inside was full blown drunk, which I think explains why he opted against takeout that evening). From the looks of things while awaiting several work night dinner salads, it appears that these guys also run a brisk delivery business. Two stars deducted for the lack of temperature control, the somewhat depressing setting and the fact that the owner unfailingly refers to me as "baby girl." Call me crazy, but I've decided to chalk the latter up to a cultural divide and endure a smooch now and then, because the salad's so darn good. Delicious pizza. Plain and simple. The crust is a perfect thin and crispy base, and whatever it is they put on top is really good. The cheese has that perfect chew and the sauce is very tasty. I like that the ingredients and toppings are real. Real mushrooms. Not canned. I like bacon pepperoni and mushrooms, myself. I've both picked up and done delivery, and both are quick and easy. This review is not based on pizza because I haven't tried it, but I honestly don't think I'm going to ever order from here again. Also, both times I ordered, it was from foodler. The reviews are pretty mixed with this place and every time I've ordered is when I'm in the mood for pasta. First time I ordered the chicken Alfredo with a side salad and cheesecake. The Alfredo was okay. I could have made it better. Chicken was fine. The dish was lacking in flavor and quite watery. The portion, however was huge. Salad was just a simple house salad, iceberg lettuce...etc. They didn't give me the right dressing, but I had my own. The cheesecake was just that; cheesecake. I decided to try this place again, instead with Spaghetti and meatballs. Only I don't think they know the difference between a baked ziti and spaghetti. I got my dish and it leaked watery red sauce everywhere. Annoyed, but not a big deal. I placed my salad on my coffee table and proceeded to the kitchen to clean up the red mess. I opened my dish to find that it was completely covered in melted cheese. Don't get me wrong, I love me some melted mozzarella. But I ordered Spaghetti, not lasagna, not baked ziti. No. Spaghetti. Of course underneath it all was a large portion of noodles and sauce. Meatballs were few and absolutely flavorless, as was the watery red sauce. I get so mad when I spend money on food and hate it. So I opened my own can of sauce and ate it anyway. When I walked back to my coffee table, my cat had knocked my salad on to the floor. Great. Then when I went to pick up my bag to use to throw away the salad, I realized they never gave me the chocolate cake that I had also ordered. Now I'm just mad and bitter. I called them back and they acted like they didn't believe me. Said they'd "check" my order and call me back. Yeah okay. At this point I didn't care because I already know I'm never ordering from here again. A guy ended up coming back with my cake and he was super sweet. But the chocolate cake? Was just that, chocolate cake. Meh. Not so much a good experience, but whatever. Lesson learned. read more
