1/4 Chicken with 2 Sides and mild sauce
Bev N.

Excellent experience! Quality delicious food with perfect portions. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. I got the 1/4 chicken with green beans, cilantro rice and mild sauce. It was so yummy that I returned within a few days and got the same meal with corn salad. Everything was flavorful. The herbal limeade is very refreshing. Download the app for awesome rewards.

You can buy the amazing sauce to go!

We absolutely love this place. The food is always great, fresh, and tasty. We love that you can buy bigger servings of the sauce to take home and eat with stuff we cook during the week. Our kids love the Peruvian rice, and the fried yucca is delicious! The salad is also really great too. Most of the time, we get the family meal with the whole chicken all white meat and the two sides and sauces. There have been a couple times that the establishment had technical issues and went above and beyond for any inconvenience. I was so taken back by this and impressed! Absolutely amazing customer service! Wonderful and friendly staff!

Ooo this place was so good! We popped in today for the first time and ordered the family meal. $28.99 for a whole chicken and 3 family size sides. We got the Peruvian fried rice, plantains, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious and we all liked it - kids included! (The food was enough for 4 people.) The cashier was friendly and patient with us as we were newbies and took some time deciding what to order. They checked on us during and after the meal to see if we needed anything and how we were enjoying the food. Overall we had a great experience and will back again in future!

Rotisserie Chicken Family Size with three sides (fried yucca, cilantro rice, and sweet fried plantains

The food here is simply amazing! Growing up in Lima, Peru, I have had the best rotisserie chicken in Peru (known there as "pollo a la brasa"). Viva Chicken food is just as good as any of the Peruvian restaurants. The sauces are tasty and the cilantro rice is delicious. The fried yucca is a must have. My daughter had the chicken wrap with sun dried tomatoes and she absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend Viva Chicken to anyone who wants to try Peruvian style rotisserie chicken and I will be coming back next time I am in Greenville!

The customer service is amazing. It's also a very clean environment and the food taste AMAZING! This is my first time being here. The yuca fries are thicker than regular fries but honestly it just might be my new fav by far. If you decide to order them I recommend you try the fries with mild or medium sauce.

Arroz Chaufa was great

We have since discovered that the best menu item is the baked Peruvian wrap with pulled chicken. Comes with fries. The mild salsa is the best one for it give it a shot. Naked Peruvian has some healthy and filling foods in it it's the best one.

I can't say enough good things about viva chicken. Everything on their menu is so good. I absolutely love the canary beans. This is a great spot for lunch during work or a super casual dinner. The staff is always friendly and open to answering any questions. I've also had them cater for me ( roughly 250 people) and it was A HIT. Both locations are great and you can't go wrong getting some good food here.

I love the chicken here, but tonight was a very poor service experience. I ordered two whole chickens with six sides and my sides are completely messed up. I ordered a family side extra of Platanos and I got beans. I ordered a small side of corn and I got a family size. The churros are a joke for $3.75. I know everybody means well here, but come on, please get the basics right!

New place on Pelham and I really liked it. The rotisserie chicken is very juice and the arroz chaufa (Peruvian fried rice) is really good. The canary beans were something new to try and I didn't care for those. The ciabatta pulled chicken sandwich was delicious, I just needed sauce on it and the hot rocoto sauce was really good. It was spicy though. Portions were a good size too. I will be back because I really liked the change of flavors at viva that it adds to this area.

Wanted fast and fresh food. And this was it. I love their bowls! All their ingredients was fresh and great quality. The price and portion was good. I will definitely at here again.

Price, food quality and service are consistently good. For a quick meal that's generally healthy this is the spot.

The menu was easy to navigate and most importantly most of the dishes maintained their identity. The lomo was delicious and perfectly tender with a lot of flavors (not over cooked or over season) -did appreciate that I was able to take of the French fires and add the yuca. Again able to keep the dish as traditional and true to their identity. The empanadas were delicious and a good amount of meat and potatoes ratio. Made to order to maintain that freshness. Some where a bit extra crispy! Some of the maduros were overcooked but no other big negatives.

Pedimos tres raciones del mismo plato a $20.00 cada una esperando recibir una comida similar a la anunciada, pero lamentablemente no fue así. I went there with my dining companion on a Thursday evening before the dinner rush. He tried to…read moreorder appetizers, and the woman behind the register said they were out of the first two things he chose. We ended up with the Bolitas de Yuca con Queso as an app. He ordered his entrée: Chayote Rellano. When I tried to order my entrée, the first two things I chose were not available that night. I said to the woman I had never been there before, asked what she might recommend and she tersely and flippantly said, "Throw a dart." I could hear the impatience in her voice; she couldn't be bothered to make a suggestion. I was out of ideas so I quickly chose the Cubano. We took our order table marker and found a seat. The ambience left a lot to be desired; the tables and chairs were cheap, and there wasn't much decor. Our appetizer was delivered at the same time as my entrée. The bolitas were actually tasty; however, I wanted to try my sandwich when it was hot but felt it would be rude to start before my friend's entrée arrived. The kitchen's timing was terrible. Eventually my companion's entrée arrived, and he was happy with his dinner. My Cubano was very unimpressive. The flavor was bland. Our drinks - sangria - tasted like there was no alcohol in them. Overall, we spent over $70 for 2 dinners, an appetizer and 2 drinks, and I was tremendously disappointed. With unimpressive food and high prices, I will have a hard time giving them a second chance.
