I had to jump on Yelp to review this place! Been gone for a minute and I promise I am back with the jump off! First, let me say I am "paid in full" (movie reference) about my Chinese food! With that being said, I have for the past 2.5 years driven to different cities to get Chinese food and therefore it was something I did quarterly. Well today, I hit the jackpot! I'm driving down Lauren's Road and boom on my left I see the sign! The aesthetics is my type of scene. I can sense the food is going to be good. Limited parking, deep in the cut, whole in the wall ish, and many patrons waiting out front. So I bust an illegal u-turn to see what all the fuss was about!!! Y'all let me tell you what all the fuss is about! The portion sizes, the fried hard wings like I like it, small wings at that, let me get a bunch of flats, and no extra talking while taking your order. Love love love!!! Best hot wings in town, hands down. I've only ever ordered take away but the staff is always friendly and quick. You'll find yourself paying a bit more at a chain wing restaurants for less quality and flavor. This is the go to wing spot in greenville. read more

The best little hole in the wall. Manned by an elderly asian couple who are the absolutely sweetest, the wings here are made with love and care. They were the only ones working when we ordered so wings took a while. You can taste the time and work put into these wings--crispy, juicy, tender meat, and finger-licking good! Your best bet is to place a to-go order ahead of time and enjoy these wings at home, piping hot! I got the lemon pepper which was crunchy and salty and sour and soo delicious! We have passed this place hundreds of times, but we finally stopped. Can't help but think about all the missed opportunities to eat their amazing food. As mentioned in other reviews the vegetable fried rice is absolutely delicious. We also tried the buffalo, teriyaki and the star of them all the lemon pepper wings. If you haven't tried this place, do yourself a favor and correct that error. read more

I just finished the 10 wings & fried rice combo and I want to go back immediately. The vegetable fried rice that comes with the combo is so good; lots of veggies and egg and seasoned well. I got the teriyaki wings and my boyfriend got the lemon pepper - both excellent. It's so much food for just $8.50 and it's good quality as well. My first suggestion would be to call ahead if you know what you want to order. Two people run this joint and are busy, busy, busy! God bless em, they do a great job. Now, this place is very tiny and unassuming. I can't imagine eating in the establishment so I would consider it a take-away place. Now, since there are only two folks running everything, you will need some patience when calling or walking in to order. But it is certainly worth the wait! I ordered the BBQ wings and the Chicken Pad Thai. The wings had a different flavor from what I was expecting. The were very delicious and had some crispness to them which I like. I am eager to try the other flavors. The Pad Thai was excellent. It had a nice little kick to it! The meal filled me up and I was totally satisfied with the food. Great wings for a good price. Family run business open daily in the afternoon from 4 to 9. Service is relatively quick considering there are only two people running the restaurant. May get busy during dinner time but it is worth the wait. They also serve a variety of Chinese and Thai dishes which also taste great. Best wings in town! No need for curb appeal when they make up for it in tasty food and customer service. They know most people that walk through their door and get your food to you promptly. I was from out of town and glad I could make it in. I went with two different wings and a scallion chicken plate. I was absolutely stuffed and very happy. There's not a lot of room to eat inside the restaurant but most people take it to go. Believe all the reviews. They have great wings!! read more

Great wings for a local dive! We always get lemon pepper and the hot and teriyaki are also delicious. I haven't had better wings in town (Wing Spot is pretty good as well) except for Smokin Wings, but a few really bad customer service experiences there made me never wanna return. The owners of LA are very nice, always fast, and never have gotten an order wrong. I've had the original buffalo wings from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY while visiting my sister there and these were better than the Anchor Bar. Can't say much more than that. read more

This place was closed during the pandemic last year and I'm not sure exactly when they reopened, but they are back and the food is just as good as I remember. They are a bit higher than other Asian restaurants and also have a limited menu, but everything I've tried is top-notch so I feel it's worth the trip. There is no dine-in now but this was always a takeout place anyway with very limited seating before and now none at all. And as before, it's very helpful to call your order in 20-30 minutes in advance to avoid the wait. You may end up waiting some anyway depending on how busy they are as only one customer is allowed inside at a time and a mask is required. read more

The food is amazing! Best wings in Greenville at reasonable prices! I love the fried rice and 10 wing combo! She gives a large portion so I always have two meals for under $10. The rice is perfectly cooked with vegetables! Oh and don't get me started on the perfectly fried lemon pepper wings. Most places make them too salty but she gets it right every time. I swear I microwaved my leftovers the next day and my wings were still crispy. The only complaints I have are that they dont open until 4 pm and they don't have enough staff. So make sure you call ahead to avoid waiting during busy times. read more

So this place might not be fancy, or have an extensive menu, or rapid service, or a large seating area but it does have food that I like. I have had the wings, beef with broccoli, chicken with broccoli, fried rice, and pad thai here. The beef with broccoli is incredibly flavorful and no overly greasy. The chicken with broccoli is very good as well. I really like their fried rice. The pad thai here has a lot of sauce on it..and usually, not a fan of that style, but somehow, it works here. So far, I haven't found better wings in Greenville. These are slightly bigger than what you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. The best way to enjoy these wings are to either get them plain and then put your favorite hot sauce on them at home...or to get them lemon pepper. The hot sauce that they have is decent but nothing special. Now some tips on getting the most out of your trip here. The food is cheap and good. So don't expect any frills. Don't come here looking for anything gluten free or anything organic. Don't waste anybody's time with that nonsense. Also, keep in mind that this is an elderly Asian couple running the place. They may not be able to get to the phone or get everything out in a timely fashion when there are 10 people ordering at the same time. Approach this place with a lot of patience. The 6 o'clock hour appears to be their busiest time. And bring cash, their credit card machine may not always be working. The parking lot is small, but there is parking in the back of the building also. Also, drive slowly on Laurens Rd, otherwise you will pass right by the parking lot entrance. In summation, I honestly don't care if you like this place because I will keep coming here to get my cheap Chinese food fix. Also, pretty sure they don't deliver, so if that's your deal, look elsewhere. read more

Doesn't deserve the glowing reviews for hot wings. The wings are nothing special or one-of-a-kind. Most wings in town are better. Wings were small, pulverized, and the sauce had an overly sweet corn sugar taste. Ranch was gelatinous and sweet as well. Wasn't worth the 20 minute drive to try them. read more

Wow! Sure wish I'd discovered this place sooner! Very unassuming from the outside and even more so inside but...AWESOME food. We got 30 wings (3 different flavors) and shrimp Pad Thai. My fiancé said the Pad Thai was the most flavorful he'd ever had. That's saying something since most of his responses to the question "How's your food?" include the word OK. The wings were simply delectable and finger licking good. You have to wait a little bit since they make everything fresh upon ordering. But boy, sooooooo worth it!! We will definitely be going back!! Hole in the wall place in a strip. Also be advised there are only two booths for eating in. There was also a small table but it is too close to the ordering counter. Literally a mom and pop place as there was only an elderly couple working. There were two other people in the store ordering when I got there but it still took 30 minutes to get my take out. A few other people showed up later and they all said the wait would be worth it because the food is good. I agree with that assessment. I ordered the 10 piece chicken wings and Pad Thai. The chicken wings were of a good size (not too big and not too scrawny) and nicely coated in sauce. I got the sweet and sour sauce with a side of Hot wing sauce. Pouring the hot sauce over sweet and sour wings was the perfect combination for me. The Pad Thai was also very good. The style is different than the sweet tamarind based sauce what you would find in most Thai restaurants. It is not as sweet and the sauce is red. They were also generous with the shrimp. I'd say there were at least 12 jumbo shrimps in it. I will definitely be going here again when I get a hankering for wings. read more

They have the best wings in town!! It's a small mom and pop store. They have a few booths inside. Most people call for take out. The prices for the wings are very affordable. The sizes of the wings and drumstick are bigger than most places in Greenville. So happy we found this place!! Highly recommended!!!! We live next to a wings shop and we will always drive to this wings place instead. Totally worth it!! read more

There is a large outdoor seating area with plenty of TVs for all the sports needs! The beers with Yee-Haw are always a great selection with something for everyone. If beers are not your taste they also have additional wines and mixed drinks. I tried a Bloody Mary with a moonshine pickle and it hit the spot but was definitely spicy (just how I prefer). The food was good but you don't come here for the food. We started with buffalo chicken dip which is a classic yum. The loaded chicken fries hit my craving and the chicken was juicy and delicious. The 864 was a THICK sandwich and flavorful with the perfect outside crisp/crunch with juicy moist meat internally. No complaints at all. We will be back!
