Colbi is awesome. She pushes our daughter and individualizes her program. She is with Colbi the entire session, unlike our other facility where the PT was out of site 80% of the session so she was with an assistant most of the time. Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

I played basketball and softball throughout high school and left with my fair share of improper technique and the resulting aches/pains that come along with. No doctors or accompanying tests could provide a definitive answer as to what was wrong with me (6 doctors). The only suggestions I received were rest and/or surgery, which seemed ridiculous for my age and well.. the fact that they didn't actually know what was wrong with me. While training to run my first half marathon, I was tired of the pain that seemed to make no sense as a young, healthy, fit, and active person. I went to another doctor who, finally, suggested something I could do about my pain, physical therapy. On my first day of therapy, I had to swallow my pride, drop the weight and get back to basics. It is as much a mental therapy as it is physical for those of us who just want to lift heavy, compete and walk away completely exhausted. Now that's not everyone's cup of tea, but the point is, we ALL fail on basic mechanics and that's why you need Andrea and her team. Come here to get the tools you need to incorporate into your life. She is not a miracle worker, she will not heal you. If you aren't willing to change your life and understand YOU have to change your most basic movements, you won't have a good time. Andrea has seen my recovery though three surgeries and to this day still continues with treatment. They did a really good job of explaining what the expectations were, how they will get measured. "World Class" so expected nothing less. If you live on this side of town, I would recommend as an option to consider to next the athlete to the next level. Lots of professionals uses facility not only here in Arizona but other athletes around the country & the facility grounds have a lot of equipment to accommodate all types of training and conditioning.

Scheduling is insane. It took me over 12 weeks to get in even though I told them I only had access…read moreto my insurance for 15 weeks and I'd initially been referred for six sessions. The scheduling person promised me they always had tons of openings if I got on their wait list, but the openings never came. (Then they told me it was because they kept those for established patients, but those also never opened up for me, so I think it's just extremely hard to schedule--and they can't or won't accomodate people who may need to get in sooner.) The physical therapist is pretty good and gives a lot of feedback. Some of the techs are good, others seem to be on a bit of a power trip or not paying attention and kind of just going through the motions. I think I had a different tech every time I went in. Working with the techs is often about the same as doing the exercises at home (with added bike/treadmill time); they don't really give good pointers or anything. Spooner is very slow about updating exercises in the app. You basically have to remind them. I'm glad the AC works again; it gets pretty hot in there. Also didn't realize there were more convenient locations when I booked, but that was my fault.
