My daughter is a 14 year old freshman softball player who was diagnosed with a small bulging disc in her lumbar spine, and also has tight hips with impaired mobility. We were unhappy with the PT at the facility our insurance covered so we opted to try a session with Colbi. The sessions have been night and day difference vs the big box chain facility. Colbi is awesome. She pushes our daughter and individualizes her program. She is with Colbi the entire session, unlike our other facility where the PT was out of site 80% of the session so she was with an assistant most of the time. The attention to detail, continual pushing outside of my daughter's comfort zone have led to growth and improvement over the last 3 weeks. I found Stacie through her instagram account, thephysiofix. After seeing several PTs, PAs, Orthapedic Doctors, Sports Medicine Specialists, etc, for nagging knee issues that no one could seem to diagnose or fix, I thought it was worth giving her a shot. Before getting a program from her, I felt that all the PT I had so far was not challenging enough for the issue I had (and for the intensity at which I normally work out!) I set up a virtual appointment with her where she did a video-evaluation of my movements. She came up with a program for me with an achievable daily PT routine as well as 2 days worth of more intense strength training workouts to help increase strength and mobility (she made sure the program would work with my current exercise routine and recreation activities.) Within 4 weeks of following the program I had noticeable improvement!! I had been struggling with this issue for over 2.5 years, I couldn't believe that she had turned it around so quickly!! What can I really say??? Dr. Stacie is the best! I've had physical therapy numerous times in my life for injuries to my right shoulder. The body is amazing and an injury in one location may affect another part of your body. I had mentioned pain to a friend one day and she told me to see her friend that worked at this place. I trusted her recommendation but later forgot. I began doing powerlifting and Olympic weightlifting and was worried how my shoulder would be affected. I soon realized my foot injuries affected my movements too. I finally contacted Dr. Stacie and she asked a few questions and them we got an appointment scheduled. She knows her stuff! I could tell and show what hurt, and she began devising a treatment plan to address the issues. It is a beautiful thing when you can work on a right shoulder, switch to the low back and then the feet. She introduced me to cupping and dry needling that really help address certain issues. Amazing!! I am always hesitant to go to the Drs especially when it comes to back problems. I was comfortable from the moment I walked into the office! Everyone is so friendly! The Drs I met with took their time to assess my problems while they did a full evaluation. I appreciated the time they spent with me! I had dry needling done which gave me instant relief! I can't say enough how absolutely amazing Dr. Hailey Kaus is. She is so patient, understanding , encouraging, and POSITIVE! I started at Physio Fix with a significant range of motion difficulty in my left shoulder. I was not able to lift my arm laterally or above my head, My doctor told me the next step was surgery, but I refused to believe that was my only option. Stacie is the real deal! I am so glad that by chance I have gotten the opportunity to work with her on all my different problems left knee injury, shoulder injuries, lower back pain wrist pain, etc, If my insurance didn't cover the sessions I would have gladly paid out of pocket. My first session was unlike any physical therapist session/evaluation I have experienced in my life! She made it fun and you could tell she knew what she was doing even made fun of me for some "weak" muscles (I think she said she is competitive lifter - ego shot. 1 point to Stacie). But it gets better, after the evaluation she went to start working on the problems RIGHT THERE! WHATTTT!!! Yeah we started with some needling (i think that's what it was) of the rear dealts resulting in released trigger points and instant relief. Next she proceeded to work through the other issues by doing a workout routine (I felt like I was working with a personal trainer - another point to Stacie she kicked my butt) After the workout she provided the workout routine, a band to do the exercises and setup another appointment. All in all the process was effective and painless, other then the workout (out a good pain). A recommendation to new patients would be to count your own reps she won't help you there ha! Dr. Stacie Morris or as I like to call Stacie has been to me my saving grace. I tore my ACL 9 months ago and as a 17yr old athlete who has played from the age of 3 I had never experienced a serious injury, so this to me was a whole different beast. When I found Stacie I was scared because I saw her instagram and saw how she pushes her patients beyond their limits but I knew I had found the best to get back to where I was. My future was uncertain and my fear of not making a full recovery to play competitive soccer again put me in a very negative headspace yet it blows my mind how one person can change that.
