So so happy I came upon this place by chance. I was in the area and needed to get a mani and this was one of the few places open by me. The owner is super super sweet and warm and made the whole experience wonderful. I ended up trying the SNS nail over gel polish and have been fully converted to say the least. It's supposed to be less damaging upon removal compared to gel polish and no need for UV light curing. I had such a positive experience here today! Vital Tips definitely lived up to their yelp reviews. Erica did both my pedicure and dip powder and she was great. First, the base pedicure was lovely, and I plan to try some of their other signature pedicures. The dip powder is what really sealed the deal. Erica's application was exactly how I like it and her attention to detail with the shape and design was wonderful. Plus she continuously checked in with me to make sure I was happy with everything. I came here for SNS nails with tips. I had an appointment and still had to wait around 15-20 mins. I picked a light pink peach color and when the the color was applied it was way too close to neon/red. I told the lady doing my nails that it wasn't the color I chose and she said it was. I said I wanted to see the color wheel again and she saw she applied the wrong color and corrected it. But it still wasn't like the color wheel since there were so many layers of powder. I proceeded with the color anyway hoping the application and shaping would get better. I told her to correct the shape a few times and she kept saying she'll shape them again after the powder was applied. I asked for the square square (sharp not rounded square) and that's not what I got. I ended up with the thickest powder nails I ever got. They were lifting after a week and I had to get them removed by a new technician and it was extremely difficult and sticky to remove and it took several soaks. Don't think this establishment is using correct glue for nails. The place looks okay from a distance but the tools are definitely not clean or sanitized. And top of all of this I paid close to $100. I moved to summit in February of 2021 and was pretty disappointed with all of the nail salons in the area, until I stumbled upon Vital Tips! This place is super cute and clean without feeling too sterile. All of the nail technicians are incredibly friendly and willing to be flexible. I walked in, and despite being very busy, they made time for me and still did a GREAT job! My UV Gel manicure look so good, and the last time I got the same manicure here, it lasted for FOUR WEEKS! The young ladies here don't appear to speak English, and the owners seemed to have instilled fear in them . I have tried most of the nail places in town. I was impressed with this one and it is the closest and most convenient location for me. It was a little dark in there, but that is pretty much my only criticism. The vibe was relaxed and quiet. Kate was terrific. I got a powder manicure and a pedicure. The powder manicure is holding up nicely. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon, so I recommend making an appointment. The powder manicure is $45, but if it lasts more than two weeks I will totally make this my regular place. read more

When I walked in the lady (which I believe was the owner) approached me in a welcoming manner. Everyone was friendly except for one lady who does pedicures in the 3rd pedicure chair. She kept giving me a look as if she was so irritated with me being there. The lady who was doing my pedicure did not understand english so the rude worker had to keep translating everything I asked. Now from my understanding I have every right to ask questions and let her know how I would like my pedicure done. When I asked to see the menu for a second time her response was "You just had it" I can ask for the menu 100 times and she should give it to me w/o a issue. Overall Ms. Rudeness did not take away from a really good pedicure. I could tell the lady that was doing my feet was a beginner but she took her time and my pedicure came out pretty good. She does need to learn english and to communicate with customers. I can go on for days about how my eyebrows came out but I'll just say dont get any wax services done here. I came out the same way I went in (eyebrows) I believe they're over priced. Callus remover is $10. I NEVER PAID more than $5. This salon does use pretty good products and have disposable nail file etc. read more

BEWARE! They do a great job but their attitudes are horrible. They often answer questions with a snarky response and talk about their customers. If you're picky, don't go there. They despise ppl who want their nails done a certain way. One of them did not show for my appointment and they lied and made every excuse on why she wasn't there. The owner apologized but then followed it up with, "you was just here, so you really don't need your nails done. It's not an emergency.". This statement was made knowing I was going on vacation. I came and one nail tech was working on my nails, apparently she was not moving fast enough because they wanted to be out by 5, so the other nail tech came and took over. The new nail tech was extremely rude and impatient. She took over without asking any questions about what I was getting done to my nails. I was going to get a design she had lost the design I chose, and was impatient when I had to find it again. It was my first time there, I came because they had great reviews. My nails all popped off within a week for a full acrylic set with gel polish ($60 w/o tip). Went in for a repair when one popped off and one was loose after 4 days and sat for almost 25 minutes waiting with zero apology or anyone attempting to help, so I left. They all came off on their own the day after that and no glue or anything was left on my nails showing how badly they were put on. Where do I start.... Beautiful salon, love the cleanliness of it and how the pedicures include paraffin, hot stone, and a scrub. I can see why the price for the pedicure is $35 due to the fact that it includes more than just painting and lotion. Everyone was very polite and friendly from the moment i walked in until the moment I walked out. As for my nails, I always do a gel manicure, I asked the lady (Maria) who did my pedicure how much it cost and she said $35. I was a little thrown off because usually a regular gel manicure ranges from $20-$35. I understand it's in a nice town and a brand new salon so I get it. When the lady (Maria) began to do my gel manicure, she did not remove any dead skin from my nails and unfortunately I do have a significant amount surrounding my nail. The way she did the gel manicure was a little different than what I'm used to but again, it's a new salon and a different person so i understood. Now, as for the 3 stars, only 5 days later being today since I went, both my toe nails and my hand nails are chipped. I just feel if I pay a higher price for a service, I would like it to last at-least the 7-10 days it normally does. This was my first time going to Vital Tips, and originally, I loved it. The people were super nice and the salon had a very elegant and calming feel to it. Though, after a few weeks passed and it was the time for my acrylics to come off, I noticed severe pain in my nail beds. I ultimately realized that the acrylics were ripping my actual finger nail out of my nail bed, causing swelling bleeding and extreme discomfort. I have never experienced anything like this before, and it occured on 5 of my nails. The only part of my actual nail that stayed in my finger was the part which was grown out, anything the acrylic touched it ripped off (therefore a good 3/4 of my nail). I can tell she takes pride in her work- very neatly done from the shaping to the polish . I got an acrylic fill which was $35 plus gel polish which is another $5. These prices are comparable . I do feel like prices rise in suburban areas in general but this price wasn't out of the range that I'm used to . Salon was clean and spacious and not crowded at all . I went around 5 on a Tuesday .
