totally horrible place, went in with a broken glasses arm, needed the arms replaced and was told over the phone they would be able to do that. the worker walks off with my glasses, has them in completely new frames and tells me "your frames are weak", and doesn't tell me he completely broke my glasses frames, snapped them while taking the lenses out until after he showed us overly expensive frames.

Glasses repair done

The leg came off my glasses almost 2 weeks ago. My first attempt was with a hot glue and that lasted 3 days. Then I used superglue and that lasted for about a week. The last couple of days I was putting it back as it came out which was all the time! It was so embarrassing when it would just fall out when I would talk so I needed to find a permanent solution. I asked around and my sister told me about this place. I thought I was familiar with this area but I guess not! As soon as you drive into the shopping center it is on the right side. On the left of the coffee shop. I walked in and Sam greeted me right away. I told him my issue and he gave me a fair quote on my repair. As I sat down to wait for my glasses to be pick i checked out their frame selection (im always looking for my next pair). They have so many cute brand name frames. They also have a great men's selection. I love their lighted full size mirrors. I helps give an overall expectation of what you look like when trying on frames.. I was there for 5 minutes and Sam was done with my repair and even cleaned my lenses. It was such a nice experience!

This place is good and as far as the service I think it's fine. This is a family-owned business…read morenot a franchise. Just so you know this is the only place in the Las Vegas area that will fix a frame. If they can't fix it they are also the only place in town who will take out your lenses and put them in different frames after reshaping them. I think when you're the only business in town that does this and you know it you can be very direct and don't need everyone's business. This place has been around before I was born, pre 1980s .... Like I said family owned You can definitely find a better place to get an eye exam and basic frames. But if you need your glasses fixed because a piece is broken or you want the frames in a completely new pair and can't go to the original place you got them from... this is the place to go because it's the only place in town that will. I had 8 prescription lenses ( 4 glasses ) Put into 4 new frames and it cost about $700... I did choose some name brand frames but usually my prescription runs about $400. So for me wasting all those lenses was a more of a waste and it was better for me to just get them repaired or put in different frames.

I had a total of 6 pairs of sunshades and 1 pair of readers, all needing repair. I did not get turned away, there was no wait, just a gentleman whose titled should be changed to Frame Doctor. Each pair was inspected and a plan developed to make them whole again. The entire process took one (1) week to complete. The cost to repair all 6 was cheaper than trying to purchase just one new pair. I would like to thank the excellent service provided by Frame Fixers.

I was referred to Personal Eyes because my style is a little more bold and unique and I was having trouble finding the perfect frames elsewhere. I have worn eye glass frames for 20 years as I cannot use contacts, so having a frame that stands out has always been a goal of mine. Nancy's options are so thoughtfully selected and each one has character! I also loved that Nancy had small business brands and brands that you've never seen before. I had so much fun trying on all of her boldly beautiful pieces and ended up having multiple favorites which almost never happens to me.. What's funny is that at at the end of the day I ended up picking an oversized ivory pair that my husband found which may not have been bold in color, but felt bold in style and was 100% ME. Nancy has such great prices and she made me feel totally comfortable and when we were chatting, I felt like I had known her forever. I will definitely be coming back for all of my eye exams and eyeglass frames in the future! I have already referred so many people and I hope they love Personal Eyes as much as I do. :)

I even recommended my daughter to go because of how positive it was. Unfortunately, the quality of service declined afterward, especially during the times we were assisted by Jr. I decided to give the office another chance and brought my husband in for an appointment. When it was time to choose his glasses, my husband politely mentioned that we usually make those decisions together. As I started asking Jr. questions, he completely ignored me. I repeated myself three times and even had to raise my voice before he finally acknowledged me. When I asked what our insurance covered, he responded with, "I don't know, you'll have to call your insurance company," and simply wrote down numbers without explaining anything. He also made an unusual comment like, "Don't worry, this company won't rip you off." When I asked what he meant by that, he couldn't give me a clear explanation. I Care Overall, my recent experience was disappointing. If he didn't want to provide good service, my husband and I could have easily taken our business elsewhere. I truly hope the customer service improves, because the first visit showed they're capable of much better.

The glasses aren't that expensive compared to most places and when they ask what kind of lens I would like I didn't feel like I was getting pressured to get the most expensive option which I liked. However, I would never recommend this place to anyone who is looking to purchase a pair of new glasses. Without insurance, I ended up spending nearly $600 for my prescription, frames and for some features to make my glasses a little more comfortable to wear (ex. I have a high prescription so I pay a little extra to make my lenses thinner). It took about a month to receive my glasses, which felt like an inconvenience because in my personal experience, regardless of how strong my prescription is, I've never had to wait more than two weeks for glasses. When I finally got my glasses, I was disappointed with the quality. They felt cheap, and the lenses pick up finger prints quickly. The lenses also aren't securely attached to the frames. When I wipe the lenses with a cloth or when I take them off, they make a creek noise and they tend to shift in place. For the amount of money that I had paid, I would have expected to receive a pair of glasses with great quality. At Eyeglass World, I've never spent more than $400 for the same services that I had paid at Eleven Optometry (this includes their two pair for $100 deal). I was in a rush to get a new pair of glasses, but I now realize that a week wait for an appointment at Eyeglass World would have been so much better than coming here.

Every time I come here, I never know what I'm gonna get. I never know if I'm gonna get over the top excellent customer service or if I'm not going to be helped. Today I came in to retrieve my contacts, and asked the guy at the register, about the doctors office next door, he said he didn't know anything. I said, can I speak to somebody who could give me an answer and he said that he wasn't from this store. My question is if you don't know anything, why are you working here then. This was not helpful at all and very unprofessional to say the least. Overall, I would say that, as a customer service representing Optika, the least you could do is go out of your way and assist your customers. By maybe calling someone over the phone or since you work next door, look at the schedule. And you cannot tell me that you don't know anything, because I know that this store is affiliated with the optometrist next store. I mean after buying glasses from Optika for over $1,200 several times, how do I get my prescription in them, huh? After this interaction, this makes me not want to come back and shop at Optika. In the future, you guys might want to consider offering loyal customers another option besides "I don't know", as a response.
