I wish I had known last September when I gave them my frames to put the new lenses in that in the future they would be charging me $85 to tighten screws. $85!! what a joke. Even $20 would be too much. I regret ordering lenses at their store. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was quoted $85 to repair the hinge on my glasses and I told them I will come back later. The following day, my husband brought the same glasses in for the same repair and was quoted $115. When I questioned the price difference, I was told the employee speaking with me was not the one who gave the original quote and that repairs for Tom Ford glasses start at $115. I was also told I should have left the glasses the day before. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I don't think it's fair for a customer to be penalized for relying on a quote given by one of the business's own employees. At the very least, I expected the original quote to be honored or for someone to acknowledge the mistake instead of placing the responsibility on me. A business earns trust by standing behind its employees' quotes. Don't make customers pay for your staff's errors!!! read more

Greeted upon entry with a smile from the receptionist. I explained on what repair needed done on my glasses. She took them back to the technician and came right back and told me it would be $65 while I waited. Sure enough, within 10 minutes the tech came out and explained what he had repaired. Today, as soon as the lady saw they were Cartier, she jacked up the price to $165 and told me it would take two days! Came here on a whim after work to bring in my favorite pair of glasses that have been out of service for almost a year. I dropped my glasses and basically hulk smashed them with my legs. The other night, I sat on my glasses on accident. One of the lenses popped right off and the frames became slightly bent. i broke my glasses that I got at Costco and they said they were irreparable. They wanted to order me a new pair for $200 or see if they could fit the lenses into a less expensive pair. I decided to hold off. I googled -eyeglass repair- and when Frame Fixer came up, I immediately called them. They asked me to bring them in to assess and I did. It was music to my ears when they said they could fix them at only $65. I it was a no brained because I love my glasses and now I got to keep them. I found out through conversation with woman who helped me that the owner is a master optician and this has been a family business since 1951. I was glad I found them and happy to support them. The woman quoted me $50 for 2 nuts & 2 caps for the arms of my sons glasses and told me at 5:17 she would hold them and not put them in until the next day because they close at 5:30. Those parts must have been hella far away because 13 minutes is plenty time to make a sale. When I took my son's glasses back she had a condescending tone and said "you don't want to get them fixed?" The entire kit that includes nuts and caps is about $7 on Amazon. If you're forced to wait at least spend your money better. We have to find a workaround tomorrow anyway. What's another day or two? Referred by local optometrist because they were not able to replace the screw that had fallen out on my ear piece on my glasses. Staff was friendly. They seem to cater maybe to the senior crowd as there were three senior citizens in their 70s and older already in the store waiting to be helped. Short wait call to quickly explain the situation, after taking a look at my glasses she said I needed a male female part and they did not have that as it would be a special order. They could rig something to make it work. The hack would cost $45. $45 seems too rich for my blood for hack that may or may not work and I'm not sure how long that would take. And since I go back home tomorrow it didn't make sense paying $45. I don't know if these are standard prices or not but it seems pretty pricey to me for a simple fix. Took my glasses in. Lots of plesantries! Nice! Dropped off my glasses to have them fixed. To repair a leg, it was $110. Was informed that they couldn't replace the spring in the leg. Basically, they would have to jimmyrig it. Came back five days later to pick them up, and they still weren't fixed. Came back several days after that and picked them up.
