(Their East Cobb location is not open Mondays.) I showed up very soon after they opened. I recognized Dr. Patel even though it had been over ten years. I explained the two things wrong with my glasses. A member of her team at the front desk examined them and agreed they could be repaired easily. In fewer than 15 minutes, someone walked to the lobby with the repaired glasses. Amazing! In this day and age when so much comes extra, when businesses are squeezed to nickel and dime their customers to make ends meet, I genuinely expected to be charged for this repair. Blazingly fast service and no pressure to buy anything even though it had been over ten years since they made a penny off me? I'm going to make a point to come back when I get my vision prescription renewed in a week. I hope that if you're reading this review it means you're checking them out. Have confidence in visiting them and trusting them to do right by you. I'm no one special. Not a VIP. But even after so long, they happily repaired my eyeglasses restoring my ability to get work done with my vision "restored" so to speak. It has been several years since I have made a vision visit because I felt unheard and overcharged, so I made the old frames and eyes work with what they had at that time. Zeena Optical is NOT that experience. The feeling of warmth and home is what you get the moment you walk inside. The beautiful eyewear display cases beckons you to try a pair or two on. Their frames were all fairly priced. Once you get to the back, the state of the art technology was top tier. I was jaw dropped by the ease and care of the technician guiding me through the process. After the pre eye screening tests, I was ushered into a beautiful little private office exam room where elegantly placed decor and equipment married together in perfect and tasteful style. When Dr. "A" as she is affectionately called, walked into the room, I knew this would be my forever eye place. Dr. A is not only thorough and proficient, but also she is kind and personable. We went around to a couple different stores (in and outside of the mall) before landing at Pearle Vision. Although pricier, you were instinctively aware that the glasses were of better quality and the customer service was great. I didn't feel hounded or hassled at all as I freely took FOREVER to try on multiple frames. Keisha was great, being both very knowledgeable about the products and options, and assisting me in finding a frame(s) that complimented my face. She was also very patient. So, when it took me about 3 weeks to select 2 frames, she still worked with me as if I were a new customer or better yet, a loyal regular. I chose 2 frames and a pair of sunglasses all of which I love. I even returned to get the anti glare added on (which Keisha had recommended but I declined) after realizing it affected my driving at night and how I looked in pictures. Love the staff here! People were in and out in a progressive manner for appointments. They even managed to work a few walk-ins in. The doctor, Dr. Amit, was very friendly, and really knew his eye stuff. I was impressed. Courtney, the office manager, got me in the door, with excellent customer service skills. How often do you hear that anymore? I think these folks try a little harder to BE good, and to give you GOOD, QUALITY service, because they know they're competing with the guys you see on tv all the time. My recent experience at this LensCrafters has restored my confidence in the brand as far as my eye exam went. The store is located In town center mall between JC Penney and the now closed Sears. There is an entrance both inside and outside the mall. When I walked in for my 5 30 PM appt on a Wednesday, a young lady kindly escorted me to the Doctor's office. Everyone including the Doctor was Amicable. I was happy to hear they have a policy that you can come back within 30 days if your glasses are too strong to have the prescription adjusted. My experience with my eye exam was very pleasant from beginning to end, they answered all of my questions and I felt confident about the health of my eyes when I left. After receiving my prescription I went to pick out my new glasses. I prefer LensCrafters over other places due to the high end brands they carry. A young lady gave me a tray, told me to fill it up with all the glasses I was interested in and she would be back once I was done. They had a nice selection of women's glasses from brands like Prada, Coach, Burberry, Ralph Lauren and a many more. I sat down at a desk to try on the glasses I chose. I was able to pick out 1 pair of glasses and they had a 50% sale on select sunglasses so I chose 1 pair of those as well as my second pair. Two associates helped me with the fitting, both were jovial. I was happy that I wasn't pressured into getting anything I didn't want, they offered and moved on when i said no. Before finishing up the transaction they tripled checked to make sure the order was right. I had a great experience inside this location, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The store was clean and organized. The selection was current and the frames were all very tasteful. Now what did not go well was after my visit. My two pairs of glasses arrive on Saturday, only 3 days after my appt. I was called to come in and pick them both up. Then I received another call asking if what were clearly supposed to be sunglasses were just that. They were sent in with a clear lens, so I was only able to pick up my primary glasses. I was very understanding, I was told they reordered them on that day and they would be in 7 to 10 business days. Welp it's been well over that time and everytime I call about my sunglasses I get the run around and then I'm told someone will call me back and never do. If I am able to track any other order I make from any other store there is no reason why they should not be able to tell me the status of my glasses. I spent a lot of money on my glasses and at this point very disappointed in this location, I had so much hope things would go well. At this point I doubt I will get glasses from here again, but I will definitely be back for my eye exam.

As an update to my 2023 appointment for new glasses: I recently had an eye exam at another facility…read moreand was given a new prescription that was supposed to be a minor tweak on my current glasses. I compared the new prescription to my latest prescription and it seemed more like a major change instead of a minor adjustment. Not being an expert, I went ahead and ordered the updated lenses from Rome Eye Care. When they came in and I put them on, the vision in my left eye was good but I could see better out of the right lens without the glasses. I figured I just had to wear them for a while to get used to them. After two weeks of constant wear, my vision was not any better out of the right eye. I returned to Rome Eye care and they read the lenses on their machine and confirmed they matched the prescription I had been given, which I figured they did. They agreed with me that the new prescription was a major change from the lenses I have been wearing since 2023. They said I should go back to the original clinic and have them recheck my eyes. The original office I went to could not give me a repeat exam until June. I let Rome Eye Care know that I wouldn't be back anytime soon so they weren't expecting a quick return. The very next day they called and said that Dr. Reeves said for me to come in and he would re-examine my eyes. A new exam was performed and it was found that the prescription I was given by the other optometrist was over corrected for the left eye and was even a bit stronger than I needed for the right eye. During his evaluation he was able to correct my prescription to give me 20/20 vision. I know this is kind of long, but the people at Rome Eye Care center are really great. Based on how quickly they accommodated the exam and the expert treatment I received, I will probably use them as my primary for eye care.

I've been very pleased with his thorough examinations. The issue I'm having now is that when I scheduled the routine eye exam this past Dec. 17, 2025. They scheduled me for some type of dry eye appointment instead. I have no idea where the appointment scheduler person got that from, but when I went into the office, I was surprised that I wasn't seeing Dr. Gottlieb, they put me with another Dr. Rajesh instead. The front desk charged me $156.06 for an office visit, which I thought it was odd, since the last routine eye exam was supposed to be covered 100% by my vision plan. Anyway, all of the sudden I received a past due notice from this clinic, telling me that I owe them more money, $91.22 to be exact. I called the office to see if we can figure out what the issue is, and Carrie from billing just told me flat out that they bill my medical plan instead of my vision plan and I'm responsible for the difference. In other words, they want more money from me for their mistake for booking me with an Ophthalmologist instead of their Optometrist. All I wanted is for the office to correct their mistake and perhaps write off the "suppose" balance, since they scheduled me with the wrong Dr. and billed my health plan instead of my vision plan, but they refuse to do it. Because of this last situation, I'm NOT recommending this clinic. The people in the front desk and billing are very rude and incompetent and want me to pay for their mistake, which I'm not going to do it. This particular situation seems to be a bit fishy and looks more like insurance fraud. Now, I'm going to have to look for another eye doctor and read reviews first. No wonder this place has so many low reviews.
