So they send everyone else to this one location which now I have to wait until October and then that location never received the appointment so not it's pushed to November. I've been getting glasses there for over a decade, always using the 50%-60% off coupons, and all has been great. I've never returned a single pair. The glasses have always been perfect from the moment I put them on. It is when something is amiss that the value of a forthright company becomes evident. In Aug 2023 I got a new pair of glasses with a new prescription from my off-site ophthalmologist. They just weren't right. In Nov I took them back and Vision Works remade them for free. Same issue. On Day 99 before the 100 day guarantee expired I took the glasses back and got a full refund. Went back to my off-site ophthalmologist for another eye exam. Turns out the prescription I had been given was incorrect. THAT'S why the glasses were bad. Took in this corrected prescription and once again I have glasses made by Vision Works that are perfect. read more

Worst place ever for glasses. My wife and I both got glasses and both had to be redone, couldn't read through the bifocals. They remeasured and said the measurements were off. got the 2nd pair and are still bad. I didn't go back. Got tired of dealing with them. I am going back to Wisconsin Vision. read more

With a a cancellation by the eye doctor a virtual exam was the only option at the last minute. The prescription is perfect and prices are fair but the front of house personnel are obnoxious and unprofessional. After Covid I have learned to expect poor service more times than not and this place delivers. I have a sense of humor and enjoy a farce, most do not. Other branches appointments were nearly filled until New Years, this branch had most available. There must be a reason. read more

Took so long to get my prescription ( 31 days!) that I thought it was lost. Turns out they had to reorder because of a flaw in the first attempt at making my pair. The prescription was terrible, I could barely focus through the right lens. I admit I didn't take them back, but they were covered 100% by my benefit plan so I didn't bother as I found a little used second pair from my last prescription worked great. Have to admit, I was reluctant to buy my glasses from a chain. I stepped out of my box and have to say, I am extremely pleased. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful. I had issues with my insurance company, so the order could not be processed. The staff (Gia, Ben, Brittany) bent over backwards to get my glasses ordered. I was leaving on vacation and they even shipped my sunglasses to me at my destination. I cannot say enough about the courtesy and customer service at this Visionworks location. I will definately continue to use them. Kudos! read more

Very disappointing experience I had. THEIR STAFF DO NOT COMMUNICATE! I ordered/purchased a pair of glasses then went back a day after to tell them that I wanted to change the frame for a different one and the staff told me she'll report the change on their system and inform the other staff right away. 9 days after I received an email that my order is ready for pick up but they gave me the wrong frame! I told the 2 staffs about the new frame I requested and they had no idea about it! I followed up 4 days after and they still haven't ordered the frame! what a very poor service, what are they doing there? Very unreliable! read more

First time at this location. Went in for a scheduled eye exam on a busy Saturday.Doctor was professional, quick, and addressed my concerns. I picked out 2 pairs of glasses & yr supply of eye contacts. I carry insurance and even with that I payed A LOT. I was VERY VERY appreciative of the eye tech who got me one pair of glasses done before I finished because my old glasses had broke, and was walking around seriously vision impaired. I was thrilled with that visit! I went to pick up my contacts and other eyeglasses a few days later and that visit was horrible. Took 5 minutes for anyone to greet me and they saw me several times. Took a 25 min wait just for someone to hand me my glasses and boxes of contacts. Didn't offer me an eye fitting or anything. Wow. Will not return. read more

I went for an eye exam. It was fine. Then I went and picked out a frame, 29.00. I asked if they had the 60 percent off discount for seniors that I saw online. She said nope but she would give me 40 percent off. When she put in my prescription, I think she was too embarassed to give me the price. She just turned the screen for me to read the total. close to 600 dollars. I was shocked. I said without the discount the glasses would be 900 dollars?? I had to leave without ordering glasses. If my prescription would have stayed the same I could just keep wearing my old glasses but it changed so I had to order glasses online which has been a nightmare. It sucks that these eyeglass places charge so much for something people like me have to have. read more

I would give them Zero Stars if I could. We stopped in on a Friday evening to Inquire about getting an exam for my mother. There was a 19.95 exam sale the next day we were told, and when we asked about Setting up an appointment, we were told that they were ONLY taking walk ins for this sale event, and that they would be open at 10AM. We could sign in at that time. Ok, we set up with my 79 Yo mother to be there at 10AM the next day. There were a few other people there, but not many. We walked up to the desk to sign in and were told that the earliest we could be seen was noon because the appointments take priority over walk ins. Needless to say we were very upset that we were not told this the night before. After being assured that we would be served after the 10 AM appointments were taken care of (we inquired more than once and were told we were next by someone whose nametag read 'General Manager'), we watched as 3 additional people were served ahead of us before inquiring again with a different employee behind the desk who then told us we were set up for the 11:45 walk in appointment time slot. At this point we had been waiting for over an hour and decided to leave before waiting another hour (at that point we had no expectation that we would be seen even at 11:45)to be seen. We went down the mall to Dr Wagner's Southridge Optical where we were treated pleasantly, respectfully and quickly. We were also told that we were not by a long shot the first people to stop there after being disappointed by Visionworks. One last point. Our impatience and anger could all have been avoided if at any point the 'General Manager' would have offered a simple 'I'm sorry' (or any other employee for that matter), but the general attitude of all employees seemed to be total indifference to their customers... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Not worth the money we would have saved on the exam... read more

WORST SERVICE AND FINE PRINT DO NOT GO THERE! They will eventually cut you a contact prescription and then it will only be for specific brand and make of contacts, namely the most expensive one. I would rather go to any other store than this. read more

I recently picked up a pair of glasses and I had to wait 20 minutes just to pick up my glasses. The salesperson took several calls while I was waiting and handled other in-person customers before me. She knew all I had to do was pick up my glasses, an interaction that took less than 2 minutes, and I still had to wait 20 minutes for that to happen. I understand the location was short-staffed, but since my need was so short I should have been handled a lot sooner than I was. She then didn't offer me any fitting or cleaning supplies like she did other customers. I would really appreciate it if the customer service practices at this location were reviewed and revised. read more

I don't know how many stars to put because my experiences have been good, but waiting is ridiculous. I get good service and everybody's friendly but the time of waiting is so long. Even when you have an appointment at 1130 you don't get seen until 12. You really have to plan ahead on waiting longer than your actual appointment is. Yesterday I came to pick up my contacts .. just pick them up.. that's it. They've had them for about a week and didn't call me to say they came in, I ended up calling asking what's taking so long, and that's when they said they've had them. So when I picked them up she said I have to wait there are 4 people ahead of me and it'll be about 20 minutes. Ridiculous! I understand there are people before me, but I am not here for an exam! I am not here for a fitting! I am not buying anything! There was only 1 person going around to each table to help everybody. There's a receptionist and 2 other employers who she could have just asked to grab my bag for me.. but no. So after 25 minutes, she said "pick up for who?" I told her my name and BAM I was out 30 seconds later. I waited 25 minutes for that! First come, first serve, I understand.. but priorities I could have been out of there before she even walked to her next client, I was easy. read more

If I could give a 5 star negative I would. first we are in a pandemic, the doctor never changed his gloves between patients, at least when he did not wear gloves he washed his hands. Secondly they allow other patients to leave their masks under their noses, it is obvious these are not medical professionals. Thirdly they convinced me to switch brands of contact lenses, had my exam in September and contacts are still on back order in December. They say they will call when the product comes in but no call. They have billed my insurance and I have paid for the contact lenses. when i asked about picking them up this past weekend I was told the left eye lenses were there but they would have to re order the right lenses. then they said this was common for this lens company, did you see above they recommended this new lens. why would you recommend a lens that is frequently on back order. so this will force me to get another eye exam to get new glasses, why because when you get an eye exam it is for either glasses or contact lenses, insurance only pays for one exam. read more

The wait is crazy. We had an appointment at 1230pm and were not seen until 115 pm. My time is just as if not more important than the doctor. The staff doesn't even seem apologetic. I will be fount to my small local optometrist. read more
