Sometimes the best places are the ones you stumble upon by accident!…read more When we first moved to the area, my daughter's glasses broke IN HALF. Not bent. Not crooked. BROKEN. Apparently, her glasses decided they were done with life. We randomly found Eye Optique, and these wonderful people went above and beyond to temporarily fix them. And the cost? ZERO. ZIP. NADA. They didn't know us, we weren't customers, and they didn't try to sell us anything. Just genuine kindness and a willingness to help. That little act of kindness earned them our business. I later sent my husband and daughter back for eye exams, and once again, they delivered! Honest, polite, professional, and reasonably priced, which I especially appreciate since we don't have vision insurance. No pressure, no unnecessary upselling, just good old-fashioned customer service. My verdict: They fixed a pair of glasses and earned a family's trust. Now THAT'S how you build a loyal customer base! Eye Optique, you've got our eyes AND our business!

We typically go with America's Best for glasses but since hubby and I are new to the area and have…read morevision insurance now, which we did not have before, we decided to try something different when we went for our eye exams this year. Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I've been going to Briggs for the last 7 years. They are super friendly, prompt and have a great…read moreselection of frames. One of the biggest things I'd say is their philosophy of eyecare first. My wife had a pair of glasses from an optician in another city. After examining her, Dr. Brice told her that she no longer needed glasses. Most opticians would keep her in glasses to sell her a new pair of frames - not Dr. Brice and Briggs. Great folks to work with!

I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

She's clear, patient, and actually listens -- which isn't always a given when you're dealing with neurological issues. I found Dr. Iyer and was pleased that I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. When I arrived, I was impressed by the office... it's brand new, has high ceilings, really nice, etc. I didn't have much time to look around because, for once, I didn't have to wait. She was actually on time!!! Most doctors are happy to let patients wait in the waiting room for 30+ minutes. Anyway, the eye exam was quick, but thorough. She did not rush me and answered all of my questions. It's hard to pinpoint how, but I got the distinct impression that she genuinely cared about me as a patient, unlike many other places I've been to. The check out process was slower than normal, but I think her staff was new. Unlike the previous reviewer noted, she does take insurance. I made sure that she took VSP before going and so the eye exam was very inexpensive. Since I really liked her and would easily recommend her over the several other places I've been (note how none of the other places instilled any since of loyalty in me), I asked about other insurance plans since my roommate is on a different one. Yes, she takes pretty much all of the plans, so a few of my friends and family have already been to see her with great reviews. Looks like I found my eye doc.

His bedside manner is kind, calm, and never rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their long term eye health. With his extensive background and years of experience in the Atlanta area, I felt completely confident in his care. Chris Jones, the office manager, is also a true standout. Her years of optical experience show in the way she communicates and supports both the team and the patients. She is knowledgeable, honest, approachable, and goes above and beyond to help you navigate your options. You feel like more than just a number here. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Cumming or North Atlanta area. It is rare to find a team that combines professionalism, warmth, and real expertise but this office does exactly that. I will definitely be returning and referring others.
