Have only had good experiences here, I'm a customer of this location. I called earlier to order new contacts and ask a question about my glasses insurance, when it came time to pay my card unexpectedly declined due to my bank implementing automatic fraud alert security, the woman on the phone got annoyed as we had to repeat the process twice saying that I only had one more chance to tell her my card details since there was another customer waiting in person, like I'm not also a paying customer and patient of the store? Just say you'll call me back nicely if that's the case. read more

The Visionworks in Culver City is so welcoming and they have a great selection. I have been there several times and have tried on tons of glasses there, and they are always super helpful. Paris is a true expert, she helped me pick out frames that were better than what I would have chosen for myself. They are now my go-to pair and I feel so cute in them. They were in the mid-priced range, nothing wildly designer, and they're perfect. Separately from Visionworks, I'd had my eye exam done twice with my eye doctor and it turned out there was an issue with my prescription (astigmatism). I was within the 100-day window so I took my glasses back to Visionworks to get my lenses remade--it was no problem at all. The Visionworks team handled it seamlessly. This is the absolute worst business. I have used them twice and they have messed up my glasses both times. And instead of admitting their mistakes the manager gets indignant and has the worst attitude. After my wife gets her current glasses we will never go back there again. I don't understand businesses that can't get their services right but also have bad customer service. Just admit you make mistakes (which is ok) but then own it and make the customer know you're trying to work with them to correct it. ------------------------------ Wow, that was quick. My daughter and I visited Visionworks in Culver City in late December for the first time. I had been going to the same optometrist for many years; however, I have new insurance and needed to find a new office for my family. I came across VisionWorks by chance on a google search and noticed, not only did they have a location close by, but they had a user-friendly website that allowed me to easily book online and availability during the holiday season, so I booked 2 appointments. Upon arrival, I was pleased that the office was easy to find and that there was plenty of parking available. We went inside and the office we were greeted immediately by the friendly staff members. I checked in for the appointments and only had to wait a few minutes before we were called to the back to do the pre-exam "tests". We were able to browse the frames, and I loved the variety (cost and design) and that everything was extremely neat and organized. They even organize their frames by shape, which I love. After a short wait, we were called to the back for our eye exams. The exams were very thorough, and the doctor answered all of my questions and concerns regarding blue light lenses for children since kids use tablets and computers for school. The doctor informed me of options and I left feeling great about our eye exams. My child's glasses came in earlier than expected, despite being ordered around the holidays, and she absolutely loves them. When I went, I also had an issue with my HSA, and they graciously assisted me with figuring it out. I definitely recommend giving VisionWorks a try for your next eye exam. I visited a Visionworks in PA and was told that I had 100 days to have my lenses replaced if needed. I would also need a new eye exam which would cost $50 out of pocket due to my insurance being used for the initial visit. No Problem. I could also use the promotion of buy one get one 50% off at anytime as long as it was used by the end of the calendar year. I made the appointment at Visionworks on Jefferson where they contradicted everything the other location told me. After being told I could not use the BOGO deal, the price of the exam would be $170+ and they needed to take my glasses from me in order to make the new pair. Yesenia at the front desk cut me off before I was able to finish my question/statement than had the audacity to say "I see you're getting upset and I need you to calm down". Of course I was upset. She contradicted everything the other location told me. They are a chain and should all have the same guidelines. Instead she told me "Well I am going to honor the BOGO" like she was doing me a personal favor.....it's a service offered by VSP (the parent company) Save yourself the aggravation.
