Selecting glasses is not an easy choice- they dont have a massive selection in store and thats ok but they are very patient in assisting and making sure you find something you like and compliments your face. We called to reschedule and was told there are no remaining appointments available this year. They have a new Receptionist by the name of Erica who can be rude and if challenged because she is not very skilled, can become extremely rude. My Husband became frustrated with her and asked her to have Dr. Burn's to call him and no call was received. My Husband thought maybe Erica had not given Dr. Burn's the message because Dr. Burn's in the past has returned phone calls. So, thinking Dr. Burn's was not given the message, my Husband called again the next day. Erica was very rude and abrupt and put him on hold only to return five minutes later to say that the Doctor was not in the Office today. There is no longer an Office Manager so we both called several times and Erica did not answer the phone. We called and left a message to speak to Barry. Well, Barry called and was really uninterested in our problem, he finally listened and told my Husband that they are under staffed, the Doctor is not in and the phone rings off the hook and "that is just the way it is" and there are no appointments. We have been going to them far to long to be treated this way and have, unfortunately, decided to take our business elsewhere. We spend at least $700 plus each on reading glasses a year, every year. This place was expensive but we were loyal. You have been warned.

I was scheduled for surgery on Monday, but only two hours…read morebefore the procedure I received a call saying the doctor determined my corneas were too thin. What's concerning is that this only happened after I specifically asked them to review my scans again. Had I not pushed for a second review, I genuinely worry they may have proceeded with surgery despite the risks. I also requested a direct explanation from the doctor and never received one. Instead, I had to repeatedly call the office just to get basic answers and speak with someone knowledgeable. My impression is that the process felt far more focused on moving patients through surgery than on patient safety and communication. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a procedure here to ask detailed questions, seek a second opinion, and carefully review whether they are truly a good candidate before moving forward. I also felt the recovery expectations were presented in a way that understated how difficult and lengthy recovery can actually be.
