warranty is a scam. Reciept says to hold onto box for 24 hours. We recycled after a couple weeks, before 30 days TV just died. Visions has 30 day 100% satisfaction garantee full refund, but they charged me $299 restocking fee because I didn't have the box. Nowhere on the warranty card does it say to keep the box, and the reciept only says to keep the box for 24 hours to return for defect. They showed me online where it says I may have to keep the box but nobody told me this in person, it's not on the reciept, and it's not on the warranty card. I still can't understand why I had to pay a $299 restocking fee on a dead TV. Basically paid $3000 for a dead TV and had to pay them to get a refund. Will never shop there again. read more

Definitely 1 star. Very rude to customers. Lack of interest in helping people. Called for special request for car audio. Was told to come in. As soon as I arrived they told me what I want is impossible. (Asked for single din to be wired into glove box to leave car looking stock) makes me very disappointed to see customer service like this. read more

Unfortunately Yelp doesn't give the option of zero stars. Went in to get a car stereo and had to take back 3 times to get it right. After 7 months it stopped working so took it in as I had a one year warranty. They tried to make me pay the installation fee. After I made a fuss he manager assured me they would make it right. These guys are scam artists essentially. CRAPPY customer service. ZERO warranty, no matter how much they sell you "extended warranty" for. I don't recommend them AT ALL!! They have successfully ruined my son's Christmas with no responsibility or remorse. Bought a pair of KEF headphones here and found only one side to work when we tried them out. Naturally I returned them and wanted to try a different brand...salesman told me that only an exchange was possible because the box had been opened. He actually said to me 'If you don't like the headphones, you shouldn't have opened the box'....How do people like this get/keep their jobs? My husband bought a 55 inch TV 16 months ago at Visions in Kamloops. He also purchased a 3 year warranty. The TV started having problems after 13 months. Visions sent out Giddens to fix the TV. They had to order a part and he waited a month for the part to arrive. Giddens then picked up the TV, fixed it and brought it back. Within a day the same problems arose. Giddens then said it has to be our Telus box. We ordered a new Telus box and hooked it to the TV. It worked for one day then the same problem arose. We called Visions and Giddens again contacted us and said there was nothing they could do further and they would tell Visions to replace the TV set. Now Visions is saying they won't replace the TV even though my husband has a 3 year warranty which covers repairs and replacement. He is currently fighting with them about this and we don't know the results yet. Will keep everyone posted. read more

Very bad business practices at this retailer, after spending over 1400.00 at the store they proceeded to tell me "current promo on is if you spend $500 or more you get a 'free' luggage tracker" upon looking at my bill not only did they charge me for the "free" product but they charged for 2. So when I went back to the store to inquire about it and get my money refunded. DO NOT SHOP HERE .. Visions Electronics is a total rip off. Our 60 inch tv we bought, was not working properly... we brought it back within 3 days. And it got ugly and we had to fight to get our money back..The manager called us liars. The manager wanted us to bring the tv back home so he could come by and see what the problem was... but when we phoned within 24 hours to tell visions that the tv was not working properly... We were told to phone samsung... No help offered... The manager is a greedy A**H that will not listen.. Tried to tell us the 100% guarantee wasnt good enough. He tried to tell us we had to pay 15% restocking fee BECAUSE they kept our box that the tv came in.. Seriously.. wanted us to pay $200 and some bucks for a box that they kept... dont bother trying to phone head office and file a complaint because they back their lying store managers.. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER--all about ripping people off... YELL people Make a Scene it is the only way you will get you money back... We had real customer service at Andres with a fellow that used to work at Visions.. he quit because of the lies and bulls**t the manager was doing Bad Bad Bad...
