We needed a replacement tire which was under warranty. It would take 10 days to get a tire from Edmonton to Costco in Kamloops. On the 9th day we had a phone call about an ordering glitch. It would be another 10 days. Apparently company policy won't allow a tire to be obtained at the Kelowna Costco. Maybe policy needs to be revamped. read more

This is like any other Costco. So this one has three doors entrance before entering the warehouse. Interesting. We walked in and noticed that its not that busy compared the the one in Burnaby or Richmond location and even the USA locations. So we were just looking around. Smoke Salmon is seasonal here. I did notice a few things that this Costco has that the lower mainland Costco doesn't have or vice versa. Overall, every Costco looks the same. Parking can be easily found. Lots available. read more

How come you can buy Booze at Costco in Alberta , and not in B. C. ??? Anyways, I love the Hot Dogs. The staff are great. Its such a HUGE place...the older I get the bigger it gets. I bought a Sirloin Roast, which is NOT supposed to be tender , but it turned out just like a Prime Rib ! I used to shop here all the time, when I had a business in town, but now, as an older , retired man, I don't like the size of the products. However, I think they have excellent quality products. I am happy to go in as a ' guest ' now. Staff are great. Very personable. Good atmosphere. I think they are known to be a ' good ' employer, when it comes to pay and benefits. So, all in all, hats off to costco and all that they do to contribute to the economy and the quality of lives of people. Conveniently located right off Highway 1, this location is great for grabbing a hot dog on the go. Parking is plentiful, but the lot design is horrible, with just 1 entrance in the corner. Quite the choke point. The location seems to be quite consistent with the others, though I didn't walk around the warehouse. I was just here for one of their beautiful hot dogs. The condiments for the hot dog were nice and fresh. Special mention goes to the sauerkraut. It's fluffier than all of the other locations. Also, the container wasn't one giant puddle. Maybe I came on a good day. read more

The Service is not that good. They also have old rigid policies. My spouse and I had cards from a different Costco. Only one of us could renew at this location. Some weird policy because our addresses did not match. Obtuse. I find I shop online mostly. read more

As always, We stopped by Costco in the City of Kamloops for the cheaper gas on the way to Calgary, AB from Vancouver, BC. After that, we grabbed some hot dogs and small snacks to go on the road trip. The Costo in Kamloops is different from Costcos in the Great Vancouver Area. It still keeps all the fresh condiments for people to pick their own the hot dogs toppings, which is very convenience. Food in Costco is very cheap and fresh. You do not need a Costco card to get into the food court, which is great. read more

The Costo in Kamploops is nothing like the Costo in Burnaby. The Kamloops location has amazing Tiramisu. I am not even sure that the Costos in greater Vancouver even sells it because I have never seen it! Now I'm on a hunt for Tiramisu. Next time I visit, I'm buying a box load! This is a review for the two angels in the Tire Centre: Jon and Johnathon. We picked up our Mercedes Benz from the Port in Vancouver and experienced some issues with the battery. As the car came off the boat from Japan and the instruction book in Japanese, we were stressed about what was happening! Once we arrived in Kamloops these two employees truly went above and beyond to help diagnose the issue and even hand delivered the proper replacement battery to our cart. We were unexpected and did not have an appointment, yet these two took us in like family and really helped us out. So thank you for your kindness and expertise. read more

As always, Costco is great but I stopped in for gas on the way to Alberta recently and the price here was either exactly the same as other gas stations around town or one cent cheaper. I expected better from Costco! read more

Costco is a solid performer. I love the ever changing product line up, and the great value. But most important is the staff and there efforts to always go above and beyond to help me. They are very thoughtful and always have my interests in mind. And their gas bar has the best prices in town. The only downside is the fact they only take one brand of credit card, AMEX, and I collect points on my mastercard... But thats a deficiency I can live with. read more

I still have hard time to believe that Costco in Kamloops decline my Canadian Citizenship card for Id registration purposes. I thought she misunderstood or something. The lady kept repeating she wants a BC id card. I didn't have it that time as it was my first month in BC. I just got one and I will go to register. However still I wish someone explains why the Citizenship card was not acceptable as Id. read more

Lost my sons shoe. Went to lost and found, not there yet but was told to call in. So I did... 4 times. Left messages explaining that I live far away and can't come in right away, but gave a description of it, and left my contact ne and number. My mom went in so I had her go check. One lady responded with "oh the red and black one" YES. That's the one... Go to the lost and found to get it to be told if it isn't claimed by the end of the month it is "donated". So our ONE shoe was donated after I left multiple messages claiming it? I called in to see if that was the case or if it just wasn't seen and was given nothing but attitude. If your paying to use a grocery store I would expect fabulous service, I got the opposite. I won't be renewing my membership you can get the same or better prices and customer service at superstore. Plus they give a flyer and free items. Won't return to Costco and will call the cost of this year's membership a waste!!! read more

I had an awful experience at Costco kamloops tire service. I got my summer tires put back on, started feeling a wobble after no more than 15km, drove maybe another 5km checked the bolts on my tires, some could be spun off with a touch of my finger, every tire was very loose. I brought it in they retorqued they were very dismissive, completely unapologetic and said they should look at it to see where the problem was. The problem was negligence, I will not ever be using their service again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know the same. read more

I don't know why some people found this Costco to be not busy. I have always had trouble finding parking spots here, especially those for the handicapped. The staff here are the most helpful I have ever found, even compared to Calgary or the USA. The only thing I found a bit irregular is the Samples. Normally there's lots but just since the BC Widfire crisis, they are completely absent. I rely on these to try new food products and the company they use as demonstrators are 2nd to none. Anyways, overall they carry most of what I need and the check-outs are fully manned which leaves a good impression. The one drawback is the food counter which could be better organized, other than that ok in my humble opinion. read more
