Feel like every time I go in here some how staff always come up with a reason not to help, or a reason it's going to cost a lot more than you expected. Over the phone I confirmed everything I needed for my appointment to replace an airpod and then when we showed up he disappeared with my case for 15 minutes and then decided we needed to spend 70 more dollars to get the case cleaned first to make sure. Can you please just order an AirPod for me like we agreed to on the phone?? Instead of wasting our time and then trying to sell us on more services?? I need one AirPod, please. read more

My iPhone 10 was not holding its charge very well so I assumed I needed a new battery. So I went to Simply computing expecting this to be so. I was greeted by the store manager, Michael. He took the time to trouble shot my issue only to find it was not my battery but an app that was active. Michael gave me some tips on how I could learn to use my Apple products through a program the business offers. I really appreciate this customer care and will definitely be back. read more

I picked up my Macbook Pro yesterday after the shop quickly replaced a much-needed new battery. They had 4 in stock. The only shop i found that had any at all. Purchased a new Mac 1 year ago from Simply Computing. Have been experiencing very, very slow speeds from start up to using applications. Made an appointment and was informed by their customer service employee that it was the hard drive going but was not covered under my warranty I purchased until the hard drive full crashes. I asked to speak with the owner Reagan for other options who came over and was absolutely unprofessional from the start speaking with a very loud and condescending tone also telling me to pay a for a new hard drive. As a long time customer with Simply Computing of Mac's and other apple products I find this behaviour absolutely unacceptable. read more

From the moment I walked into the place they were looking for reasons to not cover my phone, it was still under warranty. They took it apart and said it had water damage and was not covered and I would need to pay $500 to get it fixed. I did not believe them and took it to Kamloops celll phone repair and they cleaned it and it works great!!! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. Item was still under warranty, they would not replace it or try and find a solution. I went straight to the vendor after my terrible experience with simply computing and they replaced the item free of charge. Would go out of my way not to shop there, everything they offer is available elsewhere and usually at a better price and definitely better customer service. read more

I live in a small town with no Apple store so I posted my crashed MacBook to Simply Computing in Kamloops. Staff were prompt in diagnosing my problem (old hard-drive finally bit the dust). They recommended a replacement that suited my needs and safely transferred my data to a new machine. I was conveniently able to travel to the shop at short notice and pick up my new computer and sign up for the lease. Outstanding service! read more

True story: I went here because my iPhone was not working. After testing it they said it was not repairable and said that I would need to pay $400 for an out of warranty replacement. I had to think about it so I went to lunch then I was in future shop picking up a TV when I mentioned to the guy that I was going to have to replace my phone, he recommended a second opinion at another cellphone repair shop in the mall by Earls. I took it there and the gentleman there repaired it for $80. This saved me over $1000 as I would have thrown away a perfectly good $800 phone and paid another $400 for replacement. In my opinion it would appear that the first advice I got was either incompetent or dishonest, either way I will not be back. read more

Very near closing time but salesperson very patient guiding my purchase. I appreciated this as the product I initially sought was unavailable. After discussion we determined that my needs would be better served by a different computer. I was given options to purchase the unavailable item elsewhere. The salesperson also spent time discussing apple TV with me. read more

I am a luddite when it comes to computers and went to this store for help with a 10 year old laptop. I was helped by Christa who was wonderful, attentive and never once condescending. She answered all of my questions, solved the problems which sent me to the store (a suspective virus) and helped me with a few queries I had. Kuddos to Christa and Simply Computers. read more

I have purchased 5 Mac Books and 4 IPads from this store. Generally I received good service from the employees. However, On September 24, 2014, I did not receive the quality service I felt I should have when I brought back one of my IPads for service. The IPad was 8 months old and still under warranty. the IPad would not turn on to function with only the emblem showing. An employee told me that they would look at it. If they fixed it and it was a software problem it would cost me $32. When I questioned this, I was treated like I was stupid with the employee actually grabbing onto the cash register display telling me this was hardware and the programs were software. They also said if it couldn't be fixed then Apple would send me a new IPad. The whole process should take 3-5 days. I had to give them lots of information including leaving 2 phone numbers where I could be reached. After not hearing from the store on October 6th, I went in to check on it. It was ready. Had been ready for many days. I asked why they had not called me. The technician came from the back and said that I did not know that they had not called me. Perhaps I HAD GIVEN THEM THE WRONG NUMBER! He then looked on the invoice screen and confirmed that no, they had not called me. Then they proceeded to charge me $32 for the repair! I expressed my displeasure with the service, took my IPad and left. Simply Computing in Kamloops will never see another cent of my money. read more
