I had to stop going here because I didn't have the time to wait 20 minutes in line at the express till cause they constantly have one person on cash usually some senior who gets no help but happens to be slower than molasses. Great convenient location. Staff aren't always friendly. We tried to call ahead before going to the store, and they hung up on us. But they do have a variety of items from beauty, sun care, seasonal and holiday, electronics & household. I sometimes come here just to use the RBC bank machine. read more

This review specifically pertains to the pharmacy at this London Drugs rather than the store itself. I have had to stop by here for multiple vaccinations in the past few months and I have been nothing but impressed by the service I have received here. Three different people gave me vaccines and they all made me feel comfortable and respected. I recommend calling ahead if you need a vaccination as only certain staff members are able to administer them. With the vaccines and with all of my regular prescriptions, I've never had to wait very long and I always get informative answers to all of my questions. I am seriously impressed and would definitely recommend this pharmacy. read more

Went to the store today to look at a MacBook Pro 15" 2.5ghz notebook which sells for $3000+. Walked around looking for one and only found 13" notebooks. There was three staff members in the department. One was looking after a customer. The other two were standing around and close enough I could hear them talking about personal BS. Finally they separated and I though one of them was coming to help me. Wrong! He pushed his way past in front of me and walked over to another staff member and carried on the same BS conversation. I stood and stared at them and I guess it disturbed them because they turned their backs to me. Guess what? Lots of other places that sell them and that is where I am going. Attempted to call the Kamloops location to ask a question in the computer department. After being transferred to this department, no one ever picked up the phone, it rang until I was cut off. Called back to the main customer service line and they tried to put me through again but no one picked up. Was then put through to a supervisor of some sort but she was just rude and disrespectful and offered no apology for staff not picking up the phone. Honestly, what ever happened to "the customer is always right" let alone it is not acceptable to make excuses for poor service and mistreat the customer. People this rude should not supervise anything or anyone. read more

This particular review is on the Retail portion of the store only. I remember when L. D. first opened and it was top of its class. Now, I don't think I will shop there. I just don't feel welcome or wanted. You walk in the front doors, right past the cashier stations, and they just give you a blank stare. No hello. Nothing. And today, was the kicker. I picked up a bottle of Tylenol. On the shelf is was $ 14.99. At the til , it went thru as $ 21.99. When I said something, the cashier, got on the phone, and had it checked, sure enough, I was right. When, I mentioned, good thing, I noticed, her reply was " someone left the shelf sticker in the wrong place , so we have to give it to you at that price ". I was expecting something like " we're sorry about that, thanks for letting us know " . The Pharmacy is just great. Nothing but great service back there. London Drugs is the ONLY retailer downtown. Maybe they need a little competition to make them realize, people can and will go somewhere else. When I was in customer service, you kissed ass- but not anymore. Mind you I am a dinosaur now at 60 yrs. old . Right ? read more
