So I immediately sent a video of the broken part to Mike, the sales guy, and he told me I need to bring it back to get an exchange. I asked multiple times if they can deliver the replacement , seeing as it was kind of their issue I thought they might, but the won't, and he says I need to bring it back the next day to get a replacement or I won't be able to get a replacement for months (if ever). So next day it's raining and I ask again for delivery, they say no bring it in thru the rain it's fine. I take off work early to bring the piece in. Get there, broken piece is soaked and a bit dirty from rain/ dirt, they refuse to take it back! And leave me with the broken piece. I was pretty upset about the whole thing, but they acted like I was the idiot for not tarping the whole thing / waterproofing it. I guess I could have , but at the end of the day I thought maybe they should've just delivered the replacement. Anyways, spent $4,000 and received a broken couch with terrible service trying to get a replacement. I would NEVER shop here again.... The ironic part is that when they sold me the couch the bragged about how easy it is to clean, then when I bring it back wet from the rain they say they can't sell a dirty piece. Like bro- you told me this couch is easy to strip apart and clean? Haha

A man from City Furniture came to fix our range hood and check out the fridge. He fixed the range…read morehood but not the fridge. He tried to tell us the fridge just had the wrong tilt but I tested to see if it fixed the seal/magnetic ability of the seal and it didn't. I told him to try again and he didn't want to but once he tried he admitted that it wasn't right. He said they will do something about it (which is the same vague answer as before). It is now closing on two years of this problem and all our food goes bad much more quickly than it should. It has cost us a bunch of money in groceries and it doesn't seem to mean anything to this company. They do it seem to care that much of our vegetables have a 2-4 day shelf life...even kale, broccoli and cauliflower. Will update again later.

I needed it by August 4, 2025. The salesman stated it would be at the delivery company by July 21 and I would get an email to schedule my delivery window. I did not get the email, so I sent an email to WFB in Kamloops. I was again assured that it would be delivered on August 4. On August 4, my furniture did not show up and I could not contact anyone to get any answers until August 5. At which time they told me the 4th was a stat holiday. The 4th was a stat when I ordered it and when I checked to ensure I would get my furniture on time. Over the next few days I spoke with Aditya Rai several times as my furniture was not delivered for another 8 days. Aditya kept telling me that August 4th was a stat. Telling him that explains one days worth of delay didn't seem to phase him. He also tried to shift responsibility to the delivery company, stating they had no responsibility once it went to the transport company. I reminded Aditya that I had an agreement with WFB and not the transport company. I also stated that I didn't care what subcontractor they used to get my furniture to me. During my discussions with Aditya, he revealed that there was never any plan to get my furniture delivered to my house by August 4. There had been no effort to get it to the transport company by July 21. It has been scheduled to be delivered to the transport company by August 5, 2025 and then let me deal with the delay. Shady sales for sure!! Lots of lying on his and WFB's part. When it seems like I was finally going to get my furniture delivered August 11, the transport company cancelled it. WFB was no help once again. They then told me it could be delivered August 15, 2025. I told them that was not acceptable and told them I was going to cancel my order. That seemed to work as my furniture was delivered the next day. WFB did not care that there dishonesty meant someone was sitting in a house for 8 days without even a chair or bed. It should not have taken a bunch of angry emails and phone calls and finally a threat to cancel the order to get WFB to take some action and get my furniture delivered. Terrible company, very dishonest. Once the sale has been made and they have your money, they don't care about you.

He was very knowledgeable and made the process go smoothly and was receptive to meeting our budget. We had an excellent installer by the name of Ian Taylor who in my opinion accomplished in 3hrs what an ordinary one would take 6 hrs to do. He was easy to work with and very accommodating. My only opinion would be that you include the cleanup by say a maid service in your contract as a professional installer should not have to clean up and read the contract as to what is covered. Entering the store, Clayton (sales rep) greeted us and proceeded to show us area carpets, (this store has a huge selection) After a bit of time Clayton suggested we try the Room Visualizer. I had a picture of our living room on my phone and emailed it to Clayton. After that we found the perfect area carpets for our home, we ended up purchasing 2 area carpets and 1 runner. The runner wasn't in stock in their store, Clayton found 1 in their Kelowna Store and got it shipped to Kamloops. We got home and realized we needed 1 more runner, so we called Clayton and he found another one for us.

They have poor customer service with new clients and receiving a quote for a project seems next to impossible. My husband and I went in looking for a possible shelving unit as we where having troubles finding something that would fit our space. Later that week we sent in an email with our custom shelving unit idea, (note: We live in Barriere, BC and don't get into Kamloops all that often), with a request for a quote on production and possibly ordering two units. We never received a response back or a quote for the project. Over 2.5 months we contacted them by phone several time and sent in multiple emails to following up with them on the status of the quote. With each phone conversation a message was taken and a promise that the person handling our project would be in touch as soon as possible. I have yet to receive a response back from any of my phone messages or emails. I'm appalled and shocked at the lace of communication they seem to think is respectful. Unfortunately this did not happen. We heard nothing from anyone at Urban Cabin until we inquired after New Year's. When we inquired the employees had no idea where the table was or what state it was in. We were told that they would contact the owner about it however we never heard from her. We finally had to email owner and ask what state it was in, and had to wait another week while she emailed the builders. So once again the owner was not forthcoming with the info. We once again had to email the owner and ask where it was, and she did not know. Finally another week later they were arranging shipping. And once again the owner could not give us an ETA of arrival or where it is or how it was sent and did not obtain a tracking number. Finally it arrived in Week 16. We requested the owner to meet with us to discuss this issue as it took over double the length of time quoted. She refused, gave us a $100 off. The owner thinks customer service is responding to emails. She only sent us one email proactively, and failed to keep us updated. The employees at the store have no authority to check on any of the orders so can't really help you with your questions; they can only take your money. I would NOT recommend buying through this company, and will not be buying from them again.

The building kind of has that look to it. However I was excited to find out that it was actually a mega-thrift store. The sheer size of this store is honestly a little overwhelming. Thankfully everything is well organized, because if it wasn't, I don't think I would enjoy shopping here so much. All of the clothing is sorted by style and size. They also have a great selection of kitchen goods, electronics, furniture, books, toys, and other treasures just waiting to be uncovered. I appreciate that all of the small appliances are marked as "tested" which makes me much more confident about purchasing them. Pricing here isn't too bad. It's definitely cheaper than Value Village but not as affordable as places like the Salvation Army thrift shop or the Hospital Thrift Seller. You can usually get a pretty good deal if you're willing to look for it.
