Poor customer service. Last few times visiting they are either closed, or when I walk the nursery area I don't get any help from staff on my last few visits. Today, the place was dead, no one offered us help, we waited for 25 minutes in yard waiting for help. Then, when we searched everywhere for a staff, I found this tall lady hiding behind the till. She came out and said to us, "did you sneak in here'? and "I've closed the tills and sorry. I said "nope, we were here for 30 minutes already and if staff were doing their job they a) could have sold us that $200 tree we wanted to buy and b) she could have informed us that she was about to close the till and close". My last few visits have been the same. I am predicting the nursery to eventually close down as they can't seem to compete with the quality of service and classy products found across the highway at ArtKnapps. So if you want a tacky lawn ornament and want to get snark after waitinf for help for 30minutes, then Lyon's is your place. read more

Lue Barnhartvale Lyons Landscaping staff and crew, from the planning to the actual boots on the ground, turned my weed patch eye sour on Pratt Road into a neat, tidy, eye catching and very professional landscape. The finished product is more than I expected. The crew work so hard and in two days I had a transformed front yard. From past experience with Lyons I knew I would be more than happy with the outcome of my project and I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again for any more landscape projects in the future. I bought two maples from Lyons last year, $200 each. One was having problems and I went back and talked to them about it. They said I could bring it back but to check and see if it was still alive. I did and it was, so they told me to give it a chance. I gave it a chance and it died over the winter...now they refuse to replace. It was their advice to give it the chance....it appears it was their way of getting out of replacing the tree. TOTALLY NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS BUSINESS!!! read more
