Having been mostly a life long wearer of corrective lenses, I've been to my fair share of optometrists. Some good, some just okay. Liberty Eyecare is right up at the top of the list. Utilizing some of the most current state-of-the-art testing equipment, Liberty Eyecare offers a wide range of testing and services, offering an incredibly thorough comprehensive eye exam. Liberty Eyecare takes the time to explain their processes and their findings. Their level of customer service is extraordinary and they go above and beyond to get you the best possible solutions, without trying to gage you with unnecessary features and add-ons. Once your exam is complete, Liberty Eyecare offers a large selection of frames, glasses and contact lens options for you to choose from. Their knowledgeable, and patient, staff will walk you through the entire process and review the breakdown of costs and insurance coverage. Would I go back? I plan on going back every 1 - 2 years, as I have done so for the last 3 years. They are my primary eyecare provider and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

I've never gotten eye care services here, but I did participate in an allergy study that paid $600…read moreafter the completion of 8 hour-long visits over 7 weeks. I figure if I have allergies (and in Cincy, who doesn't?), then I might as well get paid for them. On the initial visit they do a skin test to make sure you're allergic to any grass, ragweed, animals, etc in order to qualify for the study. The next several visits consist of reading a standard eye chart, getting eyedrops of different dosages of allergens, and eye doctors examining your eyes every few minutes to evaluate the degree of allergic reactions. Very simple, no daily diary or medicines to keep track of like in other research studies, easy money. The drawbacks are: having to drive out to Fairfield mostly on weekend days, having to wait until a couple weeks after the study ends to get paid, and the study staff isn't very personable. For $600 though, it's definitely worth it.

I love everyone at Apex Eye!…read more I have been working with Dr. Chaudhry for over three months. He is knowledgable, helpful, insightful and takes the time for your questions & concerns. The entire Apex Eye organization is Awesome!! I go through my appointments & surgeries knowing I am in good hands. When you meet people who go to the same doctor as you, usually you get an "oh I go there too". Not with Dr C - EVERY person I have met who also sees him or has seen him starts the conversation with "Don't you just Love him! He is the Best!" If you have eye issues, THIS is the place to go!!

The door was left open, I could see staff members including Dr. Crawford walk past the exam room many times. At about 30 minutes of waiting, I decided to leave. As I approached the exam room door to leave, the Doctor who had walked past the door several times, suddenly appeared and entered the exam room. Never, while I waited did anyone check in to tell me the Dr. is running behind, etc. The quality of the exam was high. At the end, the Doctor pressed me hard to purchase frames from him right then and there. I had someplace to be. I left and came back to look at frames. I entered the frames area where there was one male working. Well, not really doing anything, just sitting. He glanced at me but said nothing. Apparently, he didn't see me remove my own classes and hold them in my hand as I browsed available frames. I walked past the employee a few times as I browsed. Not once did he offer assistance. Okay. After browsing for about 10 minutes, I walked away from the frames area and headed to the door to leave. Then suddenly, an elevated voice asked, "Are you going to pay for those?". It was the male employee. Pay for what I asked. He replied, "The frames in your hand". I asked, "what, these glasses, that I came in with?". His reply. "Oh, never mind". And that was that. Not another word from the employee. This is an odd place. The disdain that radiates from some of the employees for some of their customers is apparent. The staff clearly favors some of their customers, but not all of them. Would I go back or recommend this Doctor? Nope.
