This place is horrible nobody like to work they cancel your appt for no reason and don't even give you a warning and then when you try to reschedule they don't have any appt available this would be the third time this has happen to me at different location and no one never has a real reason as to why they don't wanna see pt if they don't wanna work they should not be there it's the end of the year and now I have no way yo update my prescription I will rate all these locations as 0 I don't want to give any stars but it making me they don't deserve the one read more

Both doctors are amazing and the staff is very friendly! They are very helpful every time I call in. When I need to order my contacts, I just call in, they take my payment over the phone, and they show up at my door for no extra charge the next day! They also have a wonderful selection on frames and the girls there are amazing at helping you find just the right pair that also feel great! I would recommend them to everyone! read more

I've been to see both Mr. Michael and Dr. Melissa Kerby at Village Eye Care for routine visits, and I've had pleasant experiences both times. Their retail store is well-organized and clean, their staff are professional and helpful, and they run a pretty tight ship as far as moving you through all the elements of an eye exam efficiently. I have found their eye wear prices a bit steep, but I chose to shop there rather than going elsewhere, so I'm certainly not complaining about it. They have a nice variety of frames, and they let me "play" as long as I wanted to while making my decision. I also did the "thing where the computer looks at the inside of your eyeball" - please excuse my ignorance, but I can't for the life of me recall what it's called in professional terms. We got a baseline read on the inside of my eyes to help track any kind of deterioration or damage over time. It was an extra 50 bucks, I think, so not something I'll do more than once every few years, since i'm pretty young and healthy. But I do appreciate that they offer more modern technological diagnostic tools than some of the older-school eye doctors I've seen in the past few years. No eye puffs here, if you don't want them! Today, I had to make an urgent appointment for a problem with my eye. I called in the late morning, and they got me in within 3 hours of my call. I experienced the same quick, pleasant, professional treatment from the office staff as I had experienced during my check-up visits. They were able to explain insurance details to me when I had questions. Fortunately, my eye issue was minor, so Dr. Kerby prescribed a few different eye drops for me. Knowing how expensive these things are, he offered to call in something cheaper if I got to the pharmacy and even the generic version of what he ordered was too pricey. Sure enough, got to Kroger, and the price tag was going to be $110! So they called, and within about 10 minutes, Dr. Kerby called the pharmacist back with an alternative, which ended up only running me about $19. Had they had samples in the office at the time, he would have provided me with those, but they were out. I have been very happy with Village Eye Care and will continue to see them for my routine and urgent needs as long as they are still in network with any insurance I carry! read more

Both doctors are very good. The staff will up-sell you tests/services without telling you what is paid by insurance and what is out-of-pocket. I did not find their selection of frames very good. Apart from the limited selection of frames, their lenses are extremely expensive! Their lenses are not covered under the standard insurance "Premium Schedules", so, the insurance will pay a very small amount of your total. read more

The eye care is fine there, but Dr. Melissa sold my wife on the eye shaper product for my son last year without mentioning it was $1,500 for two years while going through the pros and cons, so she was in shock at the checkout. Apparently, it should have been discussed after talking with Dr. Melissa and she's made it right, so no complaints here, but just make sure you go through the details while discussing your options. read more

This place sucks! I got my childs eye exam and glasses through this place. I went and got a copy of the script because the glasses got broken. The will not give me the PD Dist on the script unless I drive back there and sign some stupid form. What a crock!!! Not happy to say the least. I guess this is there way of retaining customers? You lost one here and I will let everyone know it. read more
