We saw two different doctors and both were great with my boys and daughter. The ladies in the vision center were also very friendly and helpful, as was the front desk employee. We were able to order new glasses for one of my boys relatively quickly and be on our way. If you're looking for a place that is kid friendly and not worried about kids being anxious and antsy, this is a good spot for you. Lastly, I have eye insurance that doesn't cover much and the optometrist wrote for an expensive medication instead of telling me there is a much cheaper identical equivalent of the benign medication that I should have been prescribed instead to begin with. I had to research myself to find out that the medications have the same mechanism of action but one costs much less. More importantly they should tell their patients about medication options instead of living in fear. Despite me taking the medication for years without doctor or insurance issue, the optometrist was too scared she'd get in trouble if she wrote for the less expensive medication. So I unfortunately ended up finding out this optometrist is against continuity of care out of fear that prescribing the less expensive med (which treats the exact same thing) wouldn't be covered as medically necessary and get her in trouble. Lesson learned, seen an ophthalmologist. People are terrified to prescribe the most innocuous medications these days. It's infuriating to have to hunt for confident prescribers. This is unfortunately not uncommon to find prescribers too scared to do their jobs, but it's completely unfounded and puts more work and cost on the patient.

My regular optometrist would not see me and i had bilateral eye pain and needed glasses in order to even get through the day as my contacts were too painful to put in and my eyes were so irritated. Their cleanliness procedures during this virus outbreak were above what I've seen in most establishments. This meant a lot! They had a really good system and i watched them utilize it with each patient who walked in the door. The optometrist really listened to what i had to say and took time to answer a lot of my questions. She went above and beyond to make sure i had what i needed and gave me samples to use until my new glasses could come in the mail. She took her time with my concerns, and which is hard to find in any doctor these days. She was knowledgeable and patient. Since i was out of my coverage dates for insurance, i was paying out of pocket for my glasses (which i was extremely nervous was going to be absolutely outrageous). The younger lady who ordered my glasses for me was so so sweet and really did everything she could to lower the price for me. I am very very pleased with the frames i got and the price i paid. I paid way under what i expected to pay, which is extremely important as I've been laid off due to covid-19. She was also extremely patient and even helped me picked frames. She didn't rush me, and i was really pleased with how fast she was able to process everything.
