we moved over a 1/2 hour away...but still come back here because of the friendly service and in depth exams. they get you an appointment quickly. on your appointment day they are efficient and thorough. they tell you what your insurance will pay and what would be out of pocket. the doctors remember you and treat you with respect. they answer any questions and go the extra mile when examining your eyes. they take their time and never rush you through an exam. we will continue to come to this office. read more

Dr Pinter is very good. But dealing with his check out staff is horrible. She insists on billing for things that Medicare says are not billable due to their facility being in network. Had to report them and file billing grievances requiring insurance company to issue denials to them. read more

The doctor and assistant were knowledgeable and courteous. However, one of the receptionists (who seemed to have worked there for quite a while), was rude and condescending both on the phone while scheduling the appointment and in person. It made for an overall negative experience. Treating people with a basic level of respect should be a given, especially when there's no reason to do otherwise. read more

My husband and I recently started going here. Everyone is very warm and friendly while still being professional.The office is clean and well maintained. I have a challenging contact lens prescription and our eye doctor has taken her time with making sure it works for me. I also got new glasses and was happy there as well. The one small negative I can think of is that they do not seem to have a very good selection of interesting frames for men. Extremely easy to schedule an appointment. Greeted quickly and courteously by front office staff. Shortly thereafter, taken by a technician for my initial testing, and shown to doctors office, where I was told doctor would be in shortly. Within 10 minutes or less, Dr. Penney came in and reviewed with me my previous visit, and asked if there were any new medical issues, since she last saw me. She did further testing and gave me her recommendations about my current eyesight situation. She then allowed me to make a decision, based on her recommendations. I have been seeing this group since 1989 and have been very satisfied with everyone. I tried using a chain store group initially and although they were "cheaper" the service was terrible and the care was not good. Dr Penny is fantastic! I trust her completely to care for my incredibly nearsightedness, astigmatism and my frequent very bad habit of sleeping in my contacts way too often. My 6 and 5 year old children also see her. They loved having their vision checked. Dr Penny explained things to all of us in a clear, concise, patient and friendly manner. Was almost charged double for what I needed, but I knew that was wrong, and was corrected. Got my contacts in the mail, and they're not even the right script. What the heck. Ugh. When I called to make the appt I made sure they billed out and didn't require all of the payment at the appt. the receptionist said it was no problem. I go through the entire ordeal (with the dr going on about his family and suggesting I go and get pregnant to give him a new patient); I'm told the entire amount is due up front. I said I wasn't told that and I don't have the money. The Office manager came out in front of the entire waiting room and everyone looking at glasses and said that there is no way anyone in her office told her that I could be billed or that the check would be separated into payments. I said I would have not come here if I knew I had to pay that all up front because to be honest I do not have the money and she said, no one suggested you didn't have to pay up front. LUCKILY a receptionist realized my insurance cld be billed and I only had to pay $35! What a fraud!!! Will not go back. Don't be afraid to ask questions. read more
