The painters were friendly and didn't need any oversight, were friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. We had two hiccups along the way, which both dealt with us adding on painting our front door which I offer as cautionary tales for anyone getting their front door painted: First, the powerwashing of the front door also broke our electronic lock. Patrick was quick to respond and removed the cost of the replacement lock from our invoice. (Very kind, thank you!!) Second, I don't think they told us the right kind of paint to buy because it has always looked too matte and stroke-y, and has lately started to bubble. In the future, I would do more research about what type of paint to buy rather than ask the guy who shows up -- I shouldn't have sprung it on them, even though they were more than happy to do it. Who knew that door paint selection could be such a process? Despite these two notes, I would definitely use Patrick's again in the future. It's hard to find a place that offers great customer service these days, and I am very grateful!

The consultant, Kevin, arrived on Wednesday, 9:30am. This pleased me greatly. I needed all the walls inside my 3 bedroom home painted. My wife and I (mostly my wife) had an idea of the colors we wanted, and a price range for what we could afford. Our consultant had suggested lighter tones for the colors we chose, and had an estimation set up for us within an hour. The following weekend our painter arrived. It was Kevin! We decided to go with his color suggestions, and my wife and I were very happy with the outcome. Kevin was very thorough with his work and I could tell he took pride in it. He was done in 4 days (other companies we consulted charged more and estimated 7-10 days), and asked me to inspect his work with him. As I have spent most of my adult life in the military, I was no stranger to conducting inspections with great attention to detail, but I could find no discrepancies in his work. Upon receiving the bill I was shocked to find that it was almost identical to the estimate-- the bill was actually a couple of dollars less than the estimate. My wife and I were so pleased with the work, and the affordable cost that we left a little extra on the bill. I couldn't tell if Kim's Painting was a "one-man-show" run solely by Kevin, or if Kevin was one of many painters employed by the company, but either way, the work was incredible and practiced with care and great expertise.
