He is passionate about service and integrity. A true expert as well as determined to find the issue and actually fix it. Our A/C was cooling intermittently. It's a very long story but I'll try to be brief. Last year our A/C wasn't cooling, it was doing this randomly. We called the first company to come out. He cleaned everything, charged the coolant, changed the filter and it worked for the rest of the season but he said he couldn't find the issue. If it persisted we needed a Bryant expert. So this year during that massive heat wave it started that again, I found a company called On Point came out. So called experts in Bryant. The tech was a very young guy, not that I'm an ageist but experience comes with years. After literally 15 mins he said it's too old and it needs to be replaced, there are no parts anymore and he can't find the issue. I believed him until I got the quote. You could buy a house somewhere in the Midwest for what they wanted. Stating we needed not only the unit but to modify pipes, pour a new pad, all kinds of new wiring, cut a hole in my plaster ceiling to accommodate the new coil on and on. It looked like a scam. Here comes the part about Jay. He had done work for me a few years ago with an issue I had with a wine cellar cooler and heat it was generating. He did an amazing job and so I called him. Not only did HE pick up the phone, but he had a break in his schedule and came out that afternoon. Not a week later, that day. Though that was lucky. He sourced the issue after really deep diving. Found a broken part, ordered it, yes it was available, two days later my A/C was fixed and is working perfectly for a fair price! He's honest, diligent and doesn't gouge because of your address. Not only that he's a really nice person! Thank you!!!

This is the fourth HVAC company we have had come out to take a look and they were the only ones to be able to truly figure out the problem. Eli was able to quickly diagnose the issue, Jason was very communicative and friendly and made sure that we got text updates and phone calls for every appointment. We needed a whole new system due to an evaporator coil manufacture defect issue and they gave us several options to choose from in order to accommodate our budget. Chris and Paris came out to install our new system and they worked quickly, were able to get our new air-conditioning unit and evaporator coil installed in less than a day, and they did great work; it has been running amazing ever since. Jason made sure to get us a system that could accommodate the size of our Home as the one that came with the house was too small for the size of our house. I cannot say enough great things about this team, I very highly recommend calling them for your HVAC needs!

Thank you so much for the quick service and for your good advice. It was definitely worth the $165 diagnostic fee.

When I reached out on a Sunday morning about a water leak having been reported for our house,…read moreMichael (the business owner) was very responsive and came at noon exactly as promised and started to investigate the issue. It seemed to be an issue with the main line and they spent the entire rest of the Sunday digging up the front yard area to look for the leak. On Monday, the next day, they came back with their entire team of 3-4 people who trenched the area until they located the leak. Once they identified the leak, they were able to quickly fix it and restore the landscaping to the original condition, even finding the right colour-matched mulch. The entire exercise did cost close to $6,000, and I don't know how that compares to other companies; however, it was a job well done and the problem was addressed in a timely manner.

Michael arrived on time and patiently answered all our questions. He also provided an estimate within a day. The only hold-up was waiting on the city inspector to come out, but Michael had already warned us of that possible few days delay. When the inspection was completed, Michael's team returned to finish up the job. They were thorough, efficient, and nicely cleaned up our driveway and sidewalk. Communication with both Michael and the dispatcher was quick and clear. HIGHLY recommend Michael and his team. They are professional, knowledgable, and gave a fair quote (we compared to two other companies and he was right in the middle). Don't hesitate to book Major Plumbing! Thanks Michael & team!

Since I came from out of town, I didn't have time to reach out to a bunch of companies to fix the problem. I sent out a blast message and guess what I found? You guessed it. 'Not for 3 weeks'. ' It's a $150 service call, not including repairs'. Mind you, this was the next day too. Burrrr. Didn't expect I was going to hang in an Igloo that night, but I did. Verdegaal Heating came through. I had to get back to the Bay Area and time was an issue. If I couldn't find a great company like Verdegaal, I would've had my mom stay at my house till it could get fixed. Did I mention someone said 3 weeks? Haha. Laura reached out the next day and set up the appt. between 1and 3 and Cory (amazing) was there right at 1. Call this company first. It's an older model furnace and he still fixed it with a universal part. If he had to order a part for our exact model might, that might have taken weeks. Cory's awesome. We had Mark Verdegaal install new copper sheet metal flashing and rain gutters during a home…read moreremodel back in 2004. Shortly thereafter, we had gutter seams that started leaking. Though he sent his crews out for 2 consecutive winters in an attempt to seal the leaks, they still continue. The rain gutters also started to sag and droop. We discovered that the hangers that are used to support the gutters were spaced at TWICE the recommended distances. The leaking seams were due to the fact that he did not install expansion joints on the long linear lengths of gutters. There are special joints that are designed to allow the gutters to expand & contract without leaking. After repeated phone calls and letters, he still refuses to come out to repair his shoddy workmanship. Apparently, Mr. Verdegaal is lacking some basic knowledge and training that we were able to learn on the internet, by visiting various copper gutter manufacturer and industry workmanship standards websites.
