Matt & his service team do it again. That 'It' being providing excellent customer service. I think I've earned my VIP status because I come here for all my service, maintenance needs for my Hyundai. I arrived at 8:45 and their service area was buzzing away with drills and about 3 customers waiting in the Lobby. Checking in was a breeze & I loved how their staff know & greet me by name. I left my keys with Dante at the desk while he was finishing up with other customers so I went to grab a snack & make myself some coffee while I wait. Forget your cellphone charger? No worries they have 2 docking stations for every kind of cellphone or device. I noticed there was a lot of inventory (new cars) on the car lot so I decided to take a stroll, a gander on what they had to offer. I was immediately greeted by a sales associate. Thank you Alexandria for approaching me, but I'm here for maintenance & I love my current car. It's nice to see that if I was interested in buying a car that I would immediately be approached by a sales agent willing to help. Ok now here is where it gets shall I say coincidental. Alexandria was not gone even 4 minutes when I receive a call from the sales manager asking if I was interested in trading in my car. I told the manager Wow what a coinky dink, I'm already on the sales lot. If I didn't know any better I think you're stalking me. He seemed excited that I was on the lot and said, 'Great I'll see you in a bit.' Me: Whaaaaaaat? I don't wanna buy a new car right now. So I tuck my hair in my sweatshirt & pull my hoodie over my head and tried to be Incognito. Then I hear my name. Dang, quick--stage left, stage left. Nope, Oscar stuck by my side the entire time I was looking at his inventory. Great try Oscar, but not today. He tried to get me to test drive a new car, but I already know that car salesman 101 trick in the handbook. He's trying get me to tap into my 'feels'. I wish I could give -5 stars, but that's not an option. I took my car in for maintenance and was offered a trade. I specifically asked Josh, the salesman, if I would be getting a car similar to mine but newer, and he said yes. I was told I wouldn't need to put any money down and that my car would be paid off completely. I was also informed that if I had extra money, I could put that down to lower the MSRP, so I decided to go ahead with it. However, the car I received is not the same as my old one. On the third day, I spoke to the manager about my concerns that the new car shakes and doesn't compare to my previous vehicle. I was promised I would get a similar car, but she told me I should have requested the 3-day warranty. The bank deposited the money on the first day, and because of that, I couldn't return the car. Furthermore, I learned that they aren't making the same model as my car in 2025. I then went to Selma Hyundai, where I found a 2025 model equivalent to my old car. This whole experience with Visalia Hyundai feels dishonest, and I'm disappointed with the treatment I received after the sale. read more

So when you look at the details it's pretty straightforward, the Listing price at $24,766 putti $2,000 bringing the amount financed at $22,766 with 700 or above credit score they So I advertised it would be 72 month @ $429 a month at 7.24% , I went in Monday looked at test drove the car & wanted to make a deal. I offered $4,000 down with a vehicle on low end worth $3000, & my credit score in the mid 700's, after running my credit they offered me at 6%, $429 month for 72 months. so when I showed their listing they tried "let me talk to my manager" also "thats just a estimate "& "that listing wrong the advertisement the company that does that for us has been messing up for over a month now." Lower price online, said it was their advertisers mistake, the price was higher by a couple of thousand dollars. Said advertiser was fired, ha!! Parked deliberately at facility, where inside of a tire had no tread and we couldn't see. Had to replace all tires 2 days after purchase because the others had tread but were cracked and close to the nubs. Had to have aligned because driving home on freeway, it kept pulling to one side. Salesman was directing turns to take, so it was about 10 stop and go blocks. Salesperson sat on a side in back, during the test drive, for us not to notice seat wouldn't lock into place. Our mechanic had to order that piece, but then the seat still wouldn't lock into place. Entire seat had to be removed because it's frame was bent. When checking oil, it was dirty so had to be changed, along with air filter, cabin filter. Brake pads had to be changed because they were down to 2%. Driver and passenger seat levers were missing. Couldn't raise or lower either seat. Sales person said he'd look into getting those for us, and he never did. Our mechanic had to order those plus the screws to put in because those were also missing. So within a couple of months we were out another almost $2000. Also no car Manuel. Salesman said it would cost us another $35 if we wanted to order. We have receipts, some pictures and printed materials to prove all. This was a used 2019 Hyundai. So Beware, Beware!! We are seniors and had the previous car 21 yrs. It's very disappointing that we were deceived and lied to in this way. After talking to the General Manager, all he would offer is a free oil change the next time around. Ha!!! What an insult!! read more

Briani from sales did an amazing job of getting to the point of what I wanted without trying to waste either of our time. and she was super patient letting me go on 2 test drives on the same car (a Tesla M3) because my girlfriend was running late from work. She negotiated on my part to get me a fair price, then came back with an offer almost $100 less than I was already willing to pay. My credit is honestly not even that good, but they still were able to get me in the car I wanted. Vanessa from financing walked me through the different protection packages that they had and was very honest about what each package covered and didn't cover. Honestly they already exceeded expectations already but just this morning Vanessa called me and told me that the bank has a better offer for me. My interest rate dropped 6% and my payment dropped another $100. My friends and I talked about it and we all agree that we have never heard of a dealership calling back after everything has been signed to give a BETTER rate and payment. Everyone who was there was polite, professional, and incredibly helpful. If I could give them 10 stars I would. If you buy from this dealership, make sure you really read the contract before signing. I bought a new Santa Fe last week and it was a dealer special online, highly discounted to 45k. I have excellent credit and income. They tried to give me almost 7% interest and a higher price for the car. I got up and walked away. The rep Oscar which either is really that dumb or is playing the part called me and I said I'm not going in unless they gave me the correct price, he said they couldn't because they were giving me a low rate. I said it's a dealer discount which means they want to get rid of the car, it's not a promo or rebate that you have to qualify for! Finally they agreed and I went back in. I got there at 5pm and waited for finance until 7:45. The finance rep then tried to sell me in warranties and things at the same agreed upon payment, which didn't make sense. I didn't take any extra and when I was reading the contract they had the price upped again! I was so upset. She went to "review" and then came back and fixed it. My payment ended up being lower. They lie about everything. My husband was going to buy a truck there too and they did the same thing to him, we walked out and purchased at Hanford Hyundai. read more

Well, this is interesting my partner and I go to purchase a car met with a brand new sales associate 18 years old, right outta high school... proceeded to show the new sales associate the car that we wanted, the advertised price that we found on the website, talk to the new associate about this, the new associate stated, and I use the word stated not a problem. talk to the general manager. Everything was fine. Everything was fine. Everything was fine not a problem honoring the advertise price. My partners got great credit not a problem 2.9% financing. That's wonderful. Take it the trade-in that's wonderful then here comes the contract. I know I'm not alone when I make this statement when you are signing something that is a huge purchase nervousness it's normal. It's a physiological part of the human body. I'm in such disbelief that a bait and switch was pulled. We questioned the price because it wasn't adding up. My partner is a whiz with numbers wasn't adding up. Got home. sure enough price "bait and switch" I knew something was wrong. The whole experience was eye opening at the way we were treated. After finding the vehicle for us, we began a tour of their facility showing us what kind of service will be provided, where we can go for questions or concerns etc. After that, every employee in the service center, front office, financing department one by one comes out to introduce themselves, greet you and let you know what good hands you are in. I was blown away at the care and detail they provide. Miguel was our specific salesman and he was amazing, he still checks in on us, makes sure everything is ok and checks if we have any questions. On Tuesday September 19th my father and I had the worst experience with this dealership. My dad drove all of the way from Fresno to pick up his Hyundai and when he was about to make his payment, they rejected his certified check. This was such an inconvenience that I had to drive from my house in Fresno to hand deliver over $6,000 to him only for the dealership to say that we were $1.56 short. When I picked the money up from the bank I had the bank round off the total amount to the nearest $1. Their inaccurate machine said it was short. Before we made payment I asked them, from a customer service standpoint what service do they have in place for the elderly when they don't carry credit and debit cards and who are not internet savvy? They didn't have an answer for me. This service was so bad that my 88 year old father informed them that he will never buy a car from them again and that they lost a valuable customer. To make matters worse, today as my dad was parking that same car at my son's school for a football game, we discovered that there was an electrical wire hanging from the front of his car and the front bumper was not repaired. My dad told me that when he turned his car in for repair, those were 2 of the problems that was supposed to get fixed and it was not. My dad has to go back to Hyundai to let them know that the car was not fixed. So my dad was screamed almost $6300 for problems that were not fixed. How dare Hyundai take my father's money, not accurately count it and not fix the problems. I have to submit this review because I work in customer service and this was not customer service. I hope the general public reads this review and changes their minds about purchasing a Hyundai. This is unacceptable! read more

Dealership was bought out. We've been waiting 7 months to get a repair completed and finally was able to get in today just to find out repair is not covered as originally stated. Spoke with Supervisor and he says he's new it's not his problem. When you take on a supervisor role you take ownership of all issues that existed before you were there. He says they have many problems coming from the old owner but hasn't established any way to take care of the customers affected. Poor customer service. Edit: We were contacted by Visalia Hyundai after this review was posted on Google in an attempt to make things right. Unfortunately Hyundai turned down covering the repair due to the vehicle reaching 100K (100,836) miles, just 836 miles over the powertrain warranty we are still paying thousands of dollars for. It's concerning that Hyundai doesn't stand by it's vehicles and considers them unnecessary to repair at only 100K miles. Owner also offered $500 out of his own pocket to make it right but still leaves us responsible for over $1000 in repair costs. Cost of part is ~$65 so the rest is labor/taxes/etc. Hyundai could make this right if they wanted to but instead we get abandoned after 100K. Buyer beware. read more

Zip ties were found holding a part together under the hood after being serviced here at Hyundai Visalia. Either it was used by these mechanics or what was looked at under the hood was not looked at but charged a fair amount of money. Dave said that this was a 9 dollar part why would we zip tie it together. I thought wow 9 is a reasonable price for a part. Why was my charge over a thousand dollars. Jokes on me because they deny that they are responsible. Groppetti ...No phone call no money returned. No more service. Please choose someplace other than Groppetti mechanics. He does not stand behind their work. Receipts were shown. Spoke with shop manager in person. I am disappointed withe endresult.....nothing. ‍aftera complete service request and service the zip ties should have been detected by the mechanics and part replaced. How did this go UNNoticed by professional Hyundai mechanics? My trust has been broken. I depended on them being thorough How could zip ties not be seen during this inspection and clear to state they were NOT paying attention In addition to this oversight they sent my vehicle home with a malfunctioning tire sensor. All 4 tires were replaced hoping our trip would be safe. It was not due to a tire gauge sensor that put me in question of the cars safety on a 12 hour drive to az. Yes. This was the same repair date. Please do not put your car in these mechanics handis Those zips ties were looked over? Why did Hyundai not recommend to replace this part. That is what is still yet to be addressed. Horrible service! My SUV which is still under warranty hatch lift stopped working. In mid November 2021 I took it in to the shop. All I keep being told every week is part on order. I heard ALL bad things about their service so after 4 months of waiting called Fresno Hyundai and they had it fixed in two days! To this date I have not heard from Visalia Hyundai. I just took my car to be serviced. Just an oil change, but she is over 10 years old so I want them to let me know anything I might need to take care of. Matt the service manager spent time explaining that there are factory recommendations, but also things that should be done based on the age of my car. I'm pretty good about keeping my maintenance up to date but found out anything prior to my visit (like my engine replacement) isn't listed in their system as the prior owner of the dealership took those files with them. I learned more about my car than I ever have before (when the engine was replaced, they couldn't even tell me what the warranty on the new engine was).
