DO NOT buy a vehicle from them. I bought a truck roughly 3 months ago. It has been in their shop 6 times, 3 of which were for the same problems. I informed them of a knock in the motor multiple times to which they replied, "It's supposed to sound like that". It broke down completely which i had to pay for towing.fuel pump was replaced (incorrectly) so once again...back in the shop. They offered a rental car while it was in the shop and the next time it went to the shop they told me they do not. They charged me $125 each time it was in the shop. I took the truck back for: no headlights, coolant on the motor (for the 3rd time), a knock in the motor (for the 3rd time), and the a/c not adjusting temperature. I don't know how they stay in business. So I found this 2012 Chevy Camaro on CarGurus for 12,450. I thought that's a pretty good price so I contacted dollar bills through CarGurus. They contacted me and informed me the car was not on the lot yet so they couldn't get me any pictures. I saved the car on CarGurus, almost 3 weeks later dollar bills text me asking if I was still interested in the Camaro honestly I had already forgotten about it because it had been so long but I said yes could you send me some pictures? He said he would took all day just to get some pictures just weren't that. Great I still needed a picture of the driver side seat, so I wanted to know its condition which I never got. I decided to call dollar bills to let them know. I was having problems before getting financed and I didn't wanna waste their time and I still needed a picture of the driver side seat about three hours later. They said that they had finance they couldn't give me a they didn't do that. I called him when I got out of work to let them know that I would need a monthly payment before I make the drive from Bakersfield to Visalia. He said 389. I told him I wanted it more like 250 the best he could do 270 I thought well I could do that, if it was 60 he said yes but then I started doing the math after I got off the phone with Roy 270 and 60 months is a lot more than 12,000 for 50 and that's without using the interest rate. I don't even know what interest rate they were using . so I text Roy and told him about doing the math. He got upset so you know you don't have to buy this car so I decided to not even bother to try to get this car from him. I don't know who the owner is of this dealership, but he needs to get some better staff.. a car purchase should be seamless and smooth not as rough as this went. DON'T TRUST THEM. I bought 2 cars from them and you'd think I would've learned my lesson the first time. My first visit did not go as bad as the second though. The first time I went in and bought a car, they were friendly, however they did not want to negotiate a good price at all, they kept making excuses as to why they can't go any lower, when I was paying cash. Then they wanted me to come and show my bank account to prove that I had the entire funds, when I had already written them a check and my accountant verified the check completely. During my second visit, they just flat out lied to my face. I went in with a Lexus and wanted to use it as a trade in. Well they came back telling me my car was salvage title and that they don't buy those. I argued with them and they even failed to provide proof of a salvage title. I did my own research and discovered my car is Not salvage title, I went through the dmv, my insurance and bought the car fax. I tried taking it down there to show them that my car was indeed not salvage and they lied to my face. But of course the manager was not there and wouldn't be back until Monday. The seller assured me the owner or manager would call me on Monday, which was yet another lie straight to my face. I have purchased two vehicles from Dollar Bill. Both times were very pleasent, excellent cars, and I cannot say enough good things about Chuck, Clayton and Rick....then there was Brian and today. I stopped by a few weeks ago spoke to Rick about trading in my last vehicle and told him I would be in contact. I called at 9am, sent over the 3 options I was looking at. Rick and I played phone tag throughout the day because I was at work and couldn't physically be there which he understood. Despite me not being able to be at the lot, he knew I was a customer and needed a car by the end of the day. By 4pm I thought I had an option worked out and was heading down to drive it. I called to clarify that it was a 2021. Online it stated 2021, on the vehicle it was painted "12". Brian answered the phone. In the midst of our conversation I used profanity (not directed at him but as I typically do during any given conversation). He screamed at me, saying: they were doing me the favor, they didn't even want to do a loan with me, they weren't even sure they wanted to do business with me, how I was late on previous payments (and I had been while I was a student - meanwhile I'm awaiting bar results to become an attorney), and continuing to bring up my profane language that I used (again not directed towards him or anyone). I've cursed and joked with others who have worked there including discussing politics and never had an issue before today. I should also note I paid both cars off in full within 2 years of purchase and paid 25% interest for in house financing. Never sent titles. I apologized (he didn't), got off the phone and CRIED for 30 minutes. I still had to get my title to do a trade-in at a different dealership, where I was treated with kindness and respect. At the other dealership I received a much better deal. So no Brian did not do me any favors. In fact, they lost a loyal customer because of him. If anyone else has experienced his bad attitude please feel free to share, as he is now a part of my comedy routine which I perform all over the state when I'm not working. Thanks BRIAN. read more

When I did find some minor issues Rick assured me that they would get them corrected without any addition to the vehicle cost. Its so sad that you can't support mom + pop business because businesses like this give them a bad name. I paid CASH for my car and this company never made sure I got my title. This man, i'm assuming the owner or someone in charge said I was responsible to get my title from the DMV which included me paying a duplicate title fee. I should not have had to pay anything when I never received my title because they put the wrong address. Horrible service. He acted like I bothered them by asking for my title. And they told me that I was rude to them when I asked them to reimburse me for paying for a duplicate title. After which he hung up in my face. I'm a young black girl who has worked hard to overcome this white dominance and privilege that still conquers. Long story short these people pretend to be upfront honest sales people but they are actually horrible! I highly recommend you STAY AWAY from this dealership unless you don't mind being lied to and messed with while you're trying to buy a car! I would be cautious purchasing a vehicle from this car lot if you want a sound running vehicle. Due to my current financing I had to trade my 2010 Chevy Tahoe (very clean, approx 80,000 miles) and purchased a 2002 Ford Expedition. I would read the Carfax diligently and ask for the vehicle inspection report, be sure to get a copy of that. Also, check and test everything from headlights, windshield wipers, rear window wipers, all accessories, air conditioning, heater, etc. The issues they did not want to fix AFTER PURCHASING the vehicle where my moonroof that was NON-operational at time of purchase, the ignition being loose and wanting to start at times (I have to wiggle the gear shifter to get her started), moonroof and electronic navigation the manager refused to fix. I identified these items within one week of owning the vehicle and shared my list with them and he still would not honor them. I believe now if you purchase a vehicle with a moonroof or sunroof it will say whether it works or not. One thing I can say positive is the guys who helped me with the purchasing of my vehicle we're absolutely amazing and fun. They made my experience a delight. They wouldn't pay to have it towed from my home in Las Vegas so I had to pay 1,000$ then then claimed they fixed it and a hour later broke down again. The finance/manager basically hid behind a partition in the sales room while our sales guy was supposed to be chatting with him and eaves dropped on our conversation, then walked out....came back in a few minutes later and basically said what we wanted wasn't going to happen. When we asked questions about his "needs" for financing he sidestepped the whole question even when pressed for the answer. Went to purchase car. Told the salesman, we have $300 for a down. Was told we had to pick a low milage-newer year car. Wierd, but ok. We found one but had to come back next day. Salesman wasn't there but we was helped by a nice young salesman. He was decent. When he saw we only had the $300, he went and asked his superior. His superior decided to not accept it and stated he never said that the original salesman said it was OK. He proceeded to call my wife and I a liar and got a little hostel. I was approved for a car loan and was set to buy it the next day first thing in the morning. All I had to do was sign and the deal was complete. We had an appointment and the car was put aside, or so Rick told me. At 8 pm the night before, I received a text telling me that they decided to sell the car and could not wait 14 hours for me to sign Even though I was told it was put aside for me sense I'm approved. First time buying from them and my last!!!!! they sold me a truck with nothing but problems 1 1/2 months into truck I needed to take it in for 4,000 + dollars in repairs pick it up 3-4 days later girl who works at there service department said you should have no more problems for a long time ..the very next day check engine light comes on haven't even drove it 30 miles and engine light comes on so I take it in for the second time week later they call me it's gonna be another 2,200 dollars more in repairs ! It's been one year since we purchased our Honda CR-V from Dollar Bill. During that time we've had no problems with the vehicle and have brought it in for a free wash maybe half a dozen times. Each time we were given prompt and friendly service. An emergency light came on the other day. It only meant low tire pressure but my wife did not know that. Worried it might be serious and unsure whether she should continue driving, she stopped by Dollar Bill. They filled the tires with air, reset the computer, washed the car, and had her reassured and back on the road in no time. So another 5 stars for Dollar Bill at the one-year mark. read more

Joe Beltran made my experience great, he was helpful and didn't follow me around the lot like a vulture, He was knowledgeable about the car I bought which was a 2014 Nissan Juke SL, now it wasn't a fast process as I have heard from others but he made it work, Now as for the office personal, well they have some people skills to work on, I took the car to a Mechanic and he found somethings wrong such as the axle boot and a gasket and plug that showed leakage and a front tire that was barely at state requirement of a 2, When I went back today to find out about their 90 day warranty they offer, I was told " If it's not leaking bad they won't fix it and it is a used car so I should expect some of that".. So if you can avoid dealing with the office I would go for it, but if you have to deal with them, just be prepared. read more

Buyers beware that this dealership has horrible customer service. We bought an Expedition from them. When we test drove it the sun roof was broken. Steve the salesman told us that it would be fixed. When the numbers were ran we decided that we were not going to be able to afford it. So we told Steve thanks but it would not work for us. About a hour later he informed us that they lowered the price so we could afford it. Never once did he say that it was lowered because of the sun roof. My daughter in law took the car in to be fixed she was told that it was not covered & was going to be $1200. She contacted Steve he said he would look into it. After a week of putting her off he told her it was not covered. I spoke with Chuck. He was so unprofessional. Please do not buy a car from them. They will make it sound good until you need something fixed. Get everything in writing!!! read more

I used the USAA Car Buying Program to find my 2011 Chevy Silverado 4X4. I must admit that I was a little skeptical when I saw Dollar Bill Auto Sales come up in my search. However, I loved the truck and the price so I had to see it. Brian and the rest of the staff was extremely friendly, offered water and an air-conditioned waiting area. The staff is attentive from the manager to the detail guy. I would buy my next car from them and no, I am not being paid to write this review. They are legit, not pushy at all. If I could put zero stars I would. 4 years ago we got our honda here and after about a year the starter went out. It had bed been a year and it was a used car so we weren't phased by that. We went back this april to get another car from them and within a week our car didn't start. Disappointing because I asked them to be completely honest because my son was due in may and I needed a reliable car. We took the car to their service center and they wanted us to pay a diagnostic fee of $80 but it had only been 1 week still under warranty, AND we had put 4,000 down. They claimed nothing was wrong with it (it started up again and we were able to drive it there and it continued to start while there). Same issue happened again and they said it was nothing. Fast forward to now, july, we are still having the same issue. We took the car thursday and they weren't able to get to it so we took it home and they said they would call friday. Never did. Now my car won't start at all. Even though we are still under warranty I will be getting it towed to a different shop and pay out if my pocket to fix it. I have wasted too much time already and it should have been fixed the first time. Take your money elsewhere you will regret ever coming here. read more

Great experience! My mom purchased her vehicle here five years ago and she hasn't had any problems, so I decided to look for my next car here. The staff is super helpful and really try to get you the car you want at a doable rate. This was my first car purchase so I was super nervous, but they made the process pretty easy. I was able to find a used newer car with low miles at a great price! They were very real when it came to numbers, which I appreciate. As far as other reviews go this is a used car shop and if you're looking for something great I would suggest looking at all the vehicles inside and out, testing driving, and doing online research. I looked at their website for hours before going in and that helped a lot. I was able to look up the CarFax and Vin before even walking on the lot. Beautiful and so clean! I put a very small amount of money down & my monthly payments are right where I wanted them! The sales person was very courteous! He asked me pertinent questions and answered all of my questions concerning getting financed. He took his time, and showcased at least 10 cars that I really liked! They had at least 90 in inventory, and 2 car lots! We test drove together and he was very professional, friendly and in no rush. I get free cars washes each week as well! The "No Pressure" approach, & super friendly customer service, sold me! I met the Owner & and his Brother who is the G.M... really nice guys... Unfortunately I had a horrible experience here. I came here and test drove a great little Kia. When we got down to financing a man decided to take over the deal. He was aggressive and very very rude, very loud and sat his chair right up in front of me, in my personal space. My credit is not the best but regardless they claimed my only way to finance was "in house" and my interest would be 24%!! They said that was "normal". Um no!
