I used their Miami office and let me tell you. These people are GODS among men. None of us are as worthy of breathing the same air as they are. If I were a wealthy man, I would leave them half my assets, even if all my children hate me for it and my wife threatened to divorce me. If they needed a kidney, I would give them both of mine and go on dialysis just so they could have a spare on ice. Heck, i'll give them my kidneys even if they are just curious about how kidneys taste! In other words, they got my passport back to me a full week before the due date. We were heading to our trip to 6 different countries in Asia and needed a couple visa's to different countries such as China and Vietnam. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a lady that was able to answer some questions. The reason why I am giving a 2 star is lack of knowledge or response to some questions asked. I asked if we needed a Cambodia visa (in which you don't you can get it on arrival) and they answered that we did and that it had to go through the embassy. Another gentlemen also grumbled and said "you need advance notice a month and a half might not be enough". The pricing was also significantly higher than many other places that we decided to go to. We ended up going to Holiday China and we liked the experience there much more. Holiday China was honest with us and quoted us with great prices, was able to get our visa in a week, and was able to provide us detail about our trip. Meh, not that impressed mostly because of inaccurate information and pricing. read more

If you are considering to use this service, please consider the following experience before making the call. I chose this service because of positive Yelp reviews and they did not turn out to be accurate in the end. 1. The steps carried out online are not useful. They were extremely generic. They can possibly be done without the help of the service. I would assume that a service which is charging a premium amount will have a good online service. 2. Their customer service over phone is terrible: After completing the form online, I got an email asking to call their number to confirm that the documents I have are complete for my visa application. It took me two days (about 20 phone calls) to get a call back from the Florida office. Almost all the time I was on hold for about 10 minutes before the system dropped me. The receptionist at Seattle office once answered my call, but simply hung up on me after putting me on hold for about 10 minutes. 3. Incompetent agency: In our appointment at Seattle office, Vincent was sure that my case won't be approved. He mentioned about a rule that was neither mentioned on the agency's website, nor the consulate's official website where I was applying at. We returned with a stress about what will happen to the flights that I have already booked. (Spoiler: I tried another agency and got the Visa in under a week). I was lucky that Vincent turned me back from the office. If I had sent the documents for the process and then got into trouble, I sure would have lost a good amount of sleep. In total I lost about a week in finding another service, and preparing application through them. Couple of positive things I wanted to share which attributes to the 1 star: The Miami office did reach out to me in return of the voicemail I left. They are possibly more responsible than the Seattle one. Now Visa Services Northwest specializes in losing passports, not answering their phones, not responding to voicemails, not being open during the hours they claim to be, and handing out incorrect information. Disappointing. Nearly $300 for a China Visa and service is slow, responses are lacking and organization is poor. They billed me but had no record that I submitted anything - In their own system! Got snippy with me when I asked what was wrong with what I had submitted, provided a half-hearted attempt to help remedy it, and didn't provide simple answers to what was needed. Also did not provide all the reference material up front, leaving you to find it on your own, guess or have to redo it over and over. I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

I called for a visa to China, and they 1) sent forms to wrong email address. 2) sent forms that are unsaveable (do yourself a favor and download the form yourself for an application to china visa from the china embassy website yourself 3) actually told me to WAIT to apply for a visa for a trip 3 months in advance (no doubt to pad their pockets with a rush visa request). It finally dawned on me to call 2 other china travel visa service places where both were quoted cheaper, as well as more accessible being in Chinatown where parking is not the hell it is in Downtown Seattle. My experience here was poor, but I'm taking into consideration that my experience was not a full representation of the business. Called about obtaining a Brazilian Visa and got laughed at over the phone because there was about 4 weeks until my trip. It was my fault, but I didn't share the same humor, then being told that it wasn't possible to go on the trip. Game over. Suggestion: Get your visa as early as possible. This was great! I got my Chinese visa in a week, with minimal effort - I was expecting to wait a month. I thought Li Chen was plenty friendly, and very helpful. She reviewed all my documents before we submitted them for the visa, and answered any questions I had. Do not use this Company. My experience was horrific. Vincent was very unprofessional in every way possible. My horror story is too long to go into. We did receive our passports back with the 3 visas, but because he didn't ask us what countries we were going to visit, other than the countries that needed visas, and that he said I had "just enough pages" for my visas and when I realized there weren't enough pages...the saga goes on and on. In my last communication with him, he actually hung up on me. (I emailed him and said he hung up on me, he said I hung up on him!!!). This guy needs a different job. More happened, but enough said. When I went to pick up my visa a week later-I wasn't in any rush, but they told me they could also expedite if need be-I was stunned to find that they had somehow gotten me a multiple entry visa good for several years! Li Chen is a saint. All saints deserve a story. I work in international business and had to be in Vietnam for some important meetings. I just finished some other important business in California during the week. My flight from California was at 8pm back to Seattle on a Friday night and my flight to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) was the Sunday morning after I got back. Right before my flight I realized I had forgotten to ask someone to pick up my passport from Li Chen's offices for me after it had gotten stamped while I was in California (Office hours are M-F 930AM-430PM). Obviously I was panicked to figure out how I was going to get my passport before my flight in the 28 hours I had. Thoughts raced through my brain to figure it out. I sent an email at 7PM and was unbelievably thrilled to see she had gotten my message when I arrived in Seattle after my flight from California. She was more than happy to oblige my special request to come into the office on a Saturday to give me my passport. I have never been more relieved and happy in my life. She went above and beyond what was expected of her services. I highly recommend Visa Services Northwest. Their prices are cheap, they have options to express and even fedex your passport to an address (which I now believe I will do from now on!) for those in a hurry or unable to pick up at the office. She was very friendly and I believe anyone would be hard pressed to find better service than from Li Chen. read more

I used Visa Services Northwest to obtain a tourist visa to China. You do pay a premium for their services (about $70), but it is well worth it to have the peace of mind. They know what they are doing, are very professional and very quick. I had my China visa in less than 2 weeks of submitting all my information without paying the rush service fee or anything. If you are traveling to a country requiring a visa, I would definitely recommend their services so you have one less thing to worry about for travel - whether for business or pleasure. read more

I have filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General's Office and will update this review once I have a complaint number so everyone can read the details. But it essentially comes down to the following. My fiance and I planned a trip to Japan and China, we went to Visa Services NW to obtain our Chinese Visas. We paid for rush services and were told it would take 5 days at the maximum and they for sure would have our passports back to us by the date of our departure. We heard nothing for 5 days, and our tracking number showed no progress. I called repeatedly and only reached voicemail. Then I was called and told there was a delay but there would be no problem getting us our passport by the day we were leaving. The DAY we are leaving a package arrives. We breathe a sigh of relief. And then we open the package....THERE WAS ONLY ONE PASSPORT IN THE PACKAGE. We were departing on a Saturday and their office is closed and they have no emergency number. We were forced to cancel our flights, our hotels, etc. All in all it cost well over $1000 to cancel the flights and hotels including the price of the services. I went in and spoke to them and they were NOT apologetic, Elvis seemed irritated and annoyed by my presence. He assured me that they would take care of it and I could get a refund and they would cover the canceled flight. I emailed them and received no response and only get voicemail when I call. So I have filed a consumer complaint with the AGO and will take it to court if I have to. read more

Visa Services Northwest is amazing. Yes, Li Chen can be a little short with you, but it's more about being to the point rather than exchanging pleasantries, and I was never offended. I realized that I had screwed up my China Visa application by missing a lot of information that I could only give her when I got back to my office, and she was very accommodating. I was given a time of about 2 weeks, and I received my visa is less than a week and half. The price was a bit high at 203 dollars total, but the service was totally worth it, and still cheaper and easier than flying down to San Francisco the embassy there. I will say another service in Downtown seattle that one of my friends used to get his visa, lost his passport. I am thankful I used this service instead. read more

I've heard good things about this service, so maybe I just got unlucky. My first call to inquire about obtaining a China business visa was not returned. I called back a day later and was able to speak with someone who seemed to know what they were doing, but when I followed-up with a question via email, they couldn't give me any example or form of a required letter--something I would assume to be fairly standard. Then, to get an answer to a different question, my first call was not picked up, my second call was dropped mid-sentence, and my third call was never returned.
