I can't begin to say how horrible the customer service is. I applied for a visa for my daughter, its taking a little more than expected time. This isn't a big deal. I called to ask what process they have in place in case we run out of time. At which point, the person on the other end just became upset and scold me that she doesn't know and its not her problem. That is, she's done all she can. That is not how you offer customer service. You don't (a) get upset at customer for asking for contingency plans (b) you don't say it's all you can do and (3) you don't hang up on the customer multiple times. I'm sure that in most cases there isn't anything you can do, but you run a business, there's so many ways you can answer that question. read more

But for reference, they quoted me $430 / application to apply for your Chinese tourist visa (e.g. 10-year visa) (they said that includes the Chinese consulate's $140 processing fee, so this vendor is charging a $290 service fee). Thanks to your recommendations I took a gamble on this place. Jack seemed nice enough and the customer service of his colleagues are on par with what you'd expect in Chinatown (Cantonese people are very pragmatic to a fault). On Yelp's recommendation I got my passport photo taken here (just $5!) but they warned me that it would not match the guidelines set by the Chinese Embassy but also assured me that it would not cause my application to be rejected. As a result I decided to place everything in their hands once I got my paperwork together. They made me more nervous as I saw them amending my application using whiteout and replacing boxes with black pen. But you know what, I got my VISA back 3 days before expected and all was good. When I showed up to pick it up they knew exactly who I was once I gave my name! (Somebody from the other end of the office shouted "that's the one with the Canadian passport") The premium they charged was hardly anything compared to other services and they never tried to upsell me on any supplementary services. For the less form-savvy people, they tell me they even fill out the application on your behalf! Due to my more than usual procrastination regarding travel matters, I needed my China visa turned around in less than 2 weeks. There were other services via mail that other folks have used and loved, but I really didn't feel comfortable with such little time remaining. Enter Iris at Holiday China China! She was so no nonsense about the whole process that I was taken aback a bit initially. I knew the process, since I have read so many of the reviews, both good and bad at other places. But folks, don't let your perception about Iris get in your way. She is soooo efficient in what she does. If you can get to her office with a nearly completed visa application and a check, she will take your visa application photo, and have everything ready to go in about 10 minutes. But I had already paid for an hour of parking! Use it somewhere else in the International District. She told me it would take 7 business days and indeed, it took 7 business days. Book your China tours through this company! And get your Visa expedited with this travel agent! Our trip was at end June 2019 during the slow season which was fabulous as destinations weren't too over crowded. I have always had hesitation buying inclusive tours with travel agents but Holiday China was wonderful to work with and put together a wonderful, memorable vacation for me, my mother, my brother and my auntie. We worked with Corina (who is no longer there) and Jack. Jack picked up communication when Corina left and there was no drop in service. I am not in Seattle like the rest of my family and they sent me to my local agent who helped me receive my Visa in just a few weeks. But also the tour they planned in China, along with the private guides that were by our side the entire time in China, made the trip well worth it. Having a guide in each city in China, having a private shuttle taking you everywhere and waiting for you to finish your activities, allowed us to fit in the maximum amount of activities possible but still providing the flexibility to cater to our groups needs. The service seemed professional and courteous. Prices were reasonable. However, the agent who provided the service did not seem to have a lot of experience. When I received my Chinese visa, I received a single-entry visa instead of a multi-entry visa. It turned out that the agent had forgot to create an itinerary for me as she promised, which is the likely reason I received a single-entry visa. The company offered to "try again" (in which case I would have received my new visa only days before the trip) for free. I felt that this would jeopardize my travel plans, and decided to change my travel plans instead. The company acknowledged the mistake, but did not offer any refund or compensation, despite the fact that I had paid extra for express service and the multi-entry component of the visa. read more

I was done in an hour. I first booked my visa through some online company Abriggs. Right after booking i realized that it was a bad choice. They had exorbitant prices. So i went in this place to make a photo. But i liked their helping staff so much, that i went and cancelled my other company and went with these guys. Do you need a Chinese visa but don't want to travel to SF? This place is for you! There are lots of visa services but most of them charge outrageous fees. If you plan in advance, Holiday China China will get you your visa for only $29 more than the visa price. A bargain! It is a small operation but everyone is really nice. Make sure you fill out the visa application before you go and they will go over it with you to make sure you have it filled out correctly. They won't call you unless there is a problem so just go back when it should be ready and it will be! All the previous reviews are accurate. We were very pleased with how easy it was to process our visa through Holiday China China. Their website example of how to fill out the application, made it so easy. At the office they retook our passport photos because they didn't meet China's requirements. Coco quickly processed our applications. We paid a small fee to have our passports mailed to us and they arrived in less than four weeks. If you need pictures taken for your China travel visa application, beware that the requirements are very specific and passport photos from Walgreens/Kinkos/etc won't work. Holiday China China got my done within 10 minutes of me entering their store. They offer services to help with either the entire visa application process, trip planning, or just the photo component if you've got the rest under control. Very convenient and friendly.
