No where to park.
Brandon M.

They have overbooked themselves so much that there is no where for patients to park. It's 11:03. My mother has an 11:15 appointment and there is not one spot open. There are three vehicles just sitting in the lot waiting for a spot to open.

I remember getting glasses in the 5th grade, contacts in 8th, and hating how I had to rely on them daily to function. Getting Lasik was sort of a spontaneous, end of year procedure, as my husband's FSA funds were set to expire. I was amazed at how easy it was to schedule my appointments, it seemed like they had an appointment time for any need. Dr. Yeu is absolutely amazing. I felt comfortable around her during my consult, and she really put me at ease the day of my procedure - I was a mess of nerves! All of the support staff I interacted with was kind as well. I couldn't have asked for a better procedure. It was really cool to get the DVD to show my husband afterwards, as he wasn't able to join me that day. I'm now just shy of 4 weeks post op and have 20/20 vision. It's an incredible feeling not needing to reach for glasses or mess with contacts every morning. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone considering it. Wish I would have done it sooner! Dr. Yeu is incredible, ask for her! :)

The staff is amazing and the Doctors are so caring that I can honestly say they have saved my vision. When I started getting the shots I was losing my sight and now I am up to four months between shots and the results are fantastic. I can't praise the doctors enough and would recommend them to anyone having vision issues. Dr Wagner and Dr Kapor are patient and explain everything to me and make a scary situation much easier to understand and I will be forever gratefu.

I just gave me positive vibes when researching. They are doing what the can in regards to covid. I do wish they mailed or emailed the paper work to me. I love that option. That way I do not have to fumble in a chair filling out all the paperwork. I went for my first appointment. They took photos of my eyes and did a whole bunch of other things including dilating my eyes. I have not had that done in a while. I was totally not prepared for it. My eyes were so sensitive afterwards that I could barely keep my eyes open. I walked through the office without my contacts in so so could not see where I was going. After all was said and done and it was time for me to go home so sat in the car trying to figure out if so could even drive. I doubled up on my sunglasses and was able to see better. I was laughing to hard at this with a friend on the phone. I told her so feel like so was drunk... which it's been years since I was. But, I was just all over the place in my head that I came home to nap. While in the office Dr. Wagner introduced himself. He was so patient and kind and a jokester. I could hear him in the other room with a child and he was doing amazing in there!!!!! I go back early May for a procedure. I'll update more shortly. MAY PROCEDURE 5/5: I walked in for a late afternoon appointment. I was taking within 5-7 minutes, not long at all. The staff was friendly this time as well. They are so good at explaining what they were doing and if I had questions they were helpful. I was really enjoying the waiting room music. Very old time, made me think I was at Disney in one of their parks. One song was One O'Clock Jump by Benny Goodman. It was a nice distraction since my eyes were dilated. The procedure was great. I was nervous but, Dr. Wagner did well explaining everything's long with his staff. I love Dr. Wagner's style.. bow ties!

I couldn't ask for better care of a loved one. Because of my previous experience (below) I can't give the hospital 5 stars but the excellence in care he's getting now definitely requires an upgrade from my original 1 star. I would say the nurses in S. Medical at the Obici Hospital were overworked & overwhelmed but they'd have to get off their phones and attend to patients first. I've been in understaffed hospitals before but have never seen a hospital with such lax care and humanity. I was with a patient for over five hours and a nurse came to check in and take vitals once. He needed help with going to the bathroom and their response was he can wait until we are ready. Yes, a few nurses actually said that before turning back to their phones.

I have to say that this is one of the nicer hospitals I've ever been in. They took great care of my dad on every level, from ER to the Cath Lab. The Nurses were extremely attentive to his needs and were very welcoming even when he had a case of the grumpies. I spoke with the floor manager before we left to tell her how phenomenal everyone was. Annnd, by far the best cafeteria food! The little old lady down there made the best sandwiches. Homemade oil and vinegar - she was proud of it and it made the Sammie. They also have a wood fire pizza oven! Crazy! Anyway - overall great experience all around.
