    NO love for the Coquitlam Centre Fido store?!?…read more I've been here a few times in the past, usually to pick up a phone reserved online, and have always found the staff to be helpful and as timely as they possibly can be. My last visit was back in October, to pick up my new iPhone 6. I had waited until the day after I got my delivery call and am glad that I did. Yaw, the salesman (the only one on shift when I arrived shortly after the mall opened) asked me if he could quickly give me a hand since he was just starting the process of issuing someone else their new phone. When I explained I was waiting to do the same, he made every effort to work through the first customer expeditiously so that I wouldn't have to wait too long. He DID tell me that when they'd made the calls yesterday it had been a mad house, with a line-up out the door, and they had ended up calling in EVERY available staff member to get everyone helped out prior to the mall close... Once my turn came around, Yaw was very quick in getting me through the process. He had already started printing out my paperwork while he was organizing the forms for the person ahead of me - quick thinking - and we were done in about 20 minutes. I don't think this was unreasonable considering I was signing a new contract and we discussed their product protection plan, which I ended up also buying (he waived some other fees in exchange and we discussed the best ROI on the plan - go B. Comm. majors! - which is about at the two year mark). All in all a quick and helpful experience.

When I got home and took off the plastic liner from the phone there were 2 circular indentations in the metal top right edge leading to a tiny dent in the metal liner on the front edge. With their 15 day return policy I went back to the Coquitlam centre store and they would not take it back. I did not open my phone, not one text, not one call. They can clearly check to see that the phone was not used at all. The Fido Store Manager, Kenneth, accused me of making those dents within the last couple days I bought the phone. After much time and anxiety dealing with this matter in the store... The Manager, Kenneth, finally said to me "would you take an exchange for your phone? If you buy a phone case from us?" I replied "YES! I will buy a case from your store when you give me an exchange." Then he says "No, sorry can't do it" I was like WHAT!!?? I told him, " you just offered me an exchange and when I agree, you say no?" Oh my I was so frustrated I could have hit the roof. So unethical to be treated that way. Kenneth, the manager of the Fido Coquitlam Centre is very sneaky and plays mind games. He pretends to be so nice but in reality its a scam. I usually write positive reviews about other experiences in general, this is my first review that is from a terribly frustrating and unethical situation. I hope this helps you all out there looking for a new phone. Avoid Coquitlam Centre. The employees are so friendly but when a problem happens with your phone, even within the return policy, the Manager, Kenneth, will find a way with words to trick you that is very disturbing. You will most likely end up with a faulty phone if you go to Fido Coquitlam Centre.
