Meh. Cheap yes but you get what you pay for and now my daughters phone keeps turning off by itself. If you want a cheap fix this place will work but if you want it done right I don't recommend global electronics. The screen is lifting but not cracked anymore ‍ it's a gamble. This is the second time I've gone to Global Electronics to get a cellphone repaired. The first time, I brought in my son's Android device which he tried to replaced a switch which resulted in the traces being lifted from the heat. Mike at Global took on the challenge to replace the switch although the trace was lifted. This time, my daughter's Apple iPhone 6 lightning port was not working properly. The iPhone 6 would only charge if turned off. Apple wanted to charge us $380 to replace the device with another iPhone. Mike knew exactly what the problem was. He told us it was the charge port circuit which needed to be replaced. He assure me that if its not the problem, there would not be a cost. Can't beat that! We went back in 45 minutes and the iPhone was sitting there waiting for us to pick up. The repair even comes with a 100 day warranty. I would highly recommend Global for all you cellphone device repairs. Undoubtly, they can and will be able to perform board level repairs if required unlike other small shops which can only replace screens and batteries. read more

Poor service, they using fake parts for fixing broken screen on iPad 4, after a couple days my iPad start to go crazy, after that I go to Appple Store and they fix my iPad 4. Call Apple Store they will explain to you what this scams doing. Don't go there. read more

Took them two weeks to repair the screen on my iPad, after estimating it would take 5 days. They also charged me an extra $15 more than quoted price ($140 in total) for unknown reasons. Worst of all, my screen isn't even on properly (which is allowing in dust and dirt) and I'm constantly having to snap it back in place. They suck. read more

They scammed my daughter and charged her apple store prices to replace the front screen and back glass. They used a different screen and glass then was made for that model. The phone would not turn on, so I took it to apple and they said someone "frankenstiened it" Global Electronics denied it at first and then were cornered into admitting they put compatible parts" on instead. They were going to replace with correct parts, but only changed the front screen and there was damage afterwards. The phone microphone stopped working and it would auto turn off. They told me I should by a new phone from them because there was water damage. I explained that when the phone arrived, it was working, there was no water damaged identified and only the cracked screen and glass needed to be replaced. They said it must have happened afterwards, but the phone was never able to be used afterwards. They said to many of their staff had worked on it and they could not verify what was or wasn't the situation. I asked if we could put the money that was put towards the screens into a used phone from them and they refused. I explained that I had them look over the phone for damage and if they had identified water damage, we would not invested in new screens and spent so much time trying to get part of it corrected. I explained that the damage my have been done by the person who put on the wrong screens. They refused to do the right thing and still have my phone. I am hoping to get it back without further damage. These people are scammers. read more

I would give them a 5/5, but it's rare I ever give out 5/5. Call it a 4.5/5. Recommended by more than one neighbour. I took it in once, got it replaced within 6 hrs. Worked great as expected, looked brand new with a glass protector put on, nothing to complain about here. He gave me a free car adaptor for my charging cable. I literally took it camping this past weekend, and dropped it onto a camp ground (full of pointy 3/4 crush). A 1/3 of the screen was blacked out, but the touch screen still worked fine. I got it replaced today...same thing, new screen, new glass protector. This time, they gave me the glass protector for free. Works as expected. I did have to get the sensitivity re-done, but they did that..no charge, and immediate. Not sure how the other people who got service from them had such an awful time. Seems like night and day. Why would anyone choose to do "awful" business as the other reviewers are suggesting. Seems like the two guys there would do anything to make sure they got repeat customers/referrals etc. It's just the two of them; local small business of two (been around since1994). I'll agree with Jessica N. I've only recently found out about them. Definitely friendly, and very busy. They wouldn't be busy if they were as "bad" as the other reviewers say they are. They have a system that stores fake invoices with inflated price to sucker you in thinking how much other people paid for similar jobs. please be sketical with everything they said as they may come up with another clever scheme to skim your hard earn money. or better yet don't even walk into the store. read more

I've had two screens on phones replaced here so I took in my old 20g ipod and got screwed.They charged me $80.00 had it in twice and all it would play was one song they put on it.I went online and found out how to work on it and when I opened it crap FELL out of it.Years of dust.They didn't even open it.I got a new drive off ebay put it in and it works like new.I called Global and told them and suddenly all the english they spoke was"you bring iPod in".I won't be bringing anything back in after that performance....... read more

I took my iPhone 4 in with severe water damage hoping to retrieve some of my personal data, (it was so bad that it was spilling out of the back of the phone!). I was truly not expecting good news, but thought mine as well at least try. They quoted me $65 IF they could fix it, nothing if they couldn't. I brought it in at the end of their business day and he said he would let me know by the next day. Much to my pleasant surprise, first thing the next morning I had received a phone call from them saying that not only had they retrieved my data but the phone was completely restored AND they had replaced the back of the phone!! These guys are AWESOME, we have been going to them for screen repairs for a few years now and they have always been extremely competitive in their pricing and always pleasant and eager to help, I would highly recommend them!! read more
